The beginning of family with half-moon in the coat of arms. Knights of Vřesovice in the late Middle Ages

The theme of this thesis is history of the knights (later lords) of Vřesovice in the late Middle Ages. The work deals mainly with political and economic role of the family members in the late medieval Bohemia, with special attention to the hussite captain Jakoubek of Vřesovice, who was mainly responisible for family rise. Furthermore, this work tries to answer the question, what happened to the family of Vřesovice since Jakoubek's death until the late Middle Ages, because during the 16th century, knights of Vřesovice belonged to the most powerful aristocratic families in Bohemia. Family members from the times of king George and Jagellonian rulers were not yet reflected by many historians. Fates of individual family members are assessed and placed into historical context. The work deals with property relations of knights of Vřesovice and manifestations of their aristocratic representation. As a whole, the work probes into political, economic, cultural and social life in late medieval northwest Bohemia. The screening survey of fish stock composition was performed at the pilot sites of future monitoring, namely in the facilities of the Kroměříž Castle (reservoirs and ponds in the garden and park), Lednice Castle (park pond), Ploskovice Castle (park pond), Červené Poříčí (park pond) and Němčice reservoir (flood protection).

Renewal and management of the castle Olešná

This master thesis is focused on the renewal of the castle Olešná and its further comercial and cultural utilisation. In 2013 the castle was bought by its current owners who plan its complete renewal. The castle is currently in bad condition. First part of the thesis concentrates on theory. It offres definition of cultural tourism, part of which is the visit of castles. Further on, the cultural heritage of the Czech Republic and its protection is defined. Second part of the thesis is focused on assessing the current state of the monument and its importance for the tourism in Rakovnicko region. The main object is to propose specific suggestions for future management of the castle.

Opportunities and limitations of the Jezeří Chateau for tourism

This diploma thesis deals with current and future position of the Jezeří Chateau in tourism. The aim of the thesis is to describe existing tourist utilization of the chateau, to evaluate tourist importance of the chateau in the Podkrušnohoří region and to propose measures for improvement of provided services and further development of tourism at the chateau. Theoretical part of the thesis contains introduction to the tourism issues of the Czech Republic and the Podkrušnohoří region. Analytical part of the thesis evaluates the Jezeří Chateau as tourist attraction, deals with attendance of the chateau and makes comparison with competitor subjects. The thesis includes questionnaire survey realized among visitors of the chateau. The final chapter includes SWOT analysis of the Jezeří Chateau and recommendations for the future based on the observed facts.

The Metodics concerning the guidance of the visitors of castles, countryhouses and other historic buildings open to the public

Úvodní část metodiky zmiňuje obecně počátky průvodcovských služeb a prů- vodcovských textů v evropském kontextu, s hlavním zřetelem na hrady a zámky v českém prostředí. Navazující části se již věnují hlavnímu tématu metodiky, a to potřebám kvalita- tivního zabezpečení průvodcovské činnosti. Je zde vysvětlena problematika tvor- by a interpretace průvodcovských textů, přípravy průvodců na průvodcovskou čin- nost a s ní spojené povinnosti či potřeby. Samostatně je popsaná obecně vedená organizace prohlídky památkového objektu průvodcem. V základních bodech je naznačen přístup průvodce k návštěvníkům s omezenou schopností pohybu a ori- entace. Závěr přináší soupis použité a doporučené literatury pro ty, kteří se chtějí o průvodcovské činnosti a jejích specifikách dozvědět více.

Metodika, rozdělená na metodickou a sborníkovou část, ve své první části podrobně vysvětluje postupy a zásady stavební a restaurátorské obnovy památkových objektů určených pro umístění památkových interiérových instalací a následně i vlastní přípravu a tvorbu památkových interiérových instalací a reinstalací. Sborníková část představené a popsané metodické postupy a zásady dále rozvíjí a doplňuje. Závěr metodiky patří výběru literatury k tématům, nímž se metodika věnuje.
