Box girder bridge
Vostal, Lukáš ; Pecha, Jakub (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the design of a prestressed box girder construction with several spans. Two variants are designed and for detailed solving was chosen the variant of the box girder. The length of loadbearing structure is 212 m, the longest span has 60 m. The calculation of load effects is done by software Scia Engineer 19.1. Drawing part is done by software Allplan Engineering 2021. The thesis includes drawings, representation of the construction proces, visualization and a structural design. Designing and assessments were made according to currently valid European standarts.
Double Box Girder Bridge Crane
Vlachovič, Tomáš ; Cupal, Vladimír (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the assessment design of two-girder crane bridge for the lifting capacity 50 tons. Span of the crane is 20 meters, wheelbase is 3.15 meters and lifting height is 7 meters. This diploma thesis deals with the numerical solution box beam and using the finite element method is solved buckling. The diploma thesis has been elaborated using the relevant technical literature and standards that contain procedures and recommendations for calculation and designing of bridge cranes.
Bridge structure over the valley
Hroudná, Denisa ; Kostka, Vojtěch (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the design of post-tensioned road bridge over the valley. Two preliminary studies have been proposed and one of them was selected for more detailed processing. The selected variant is a box girder with a constant height 2,5 m. The construction id divided into five span and its total lenght is 240 m Span length of construction is 18,0 m. The construction was assessed for ultimate and serviceability limit state acording to standarts and regulation. Drawings and vizualizations ard parts of the diploma thesis.
Highway bridge over wide wally
Mertová, Eliška ; Smejkal, Ing David (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis was the design of three possible variants, how to span the wide and deep valley with a bridge. After an evaluation, situation of the highway on the only wide load-bearing structure which is constituted by a box girder with transverse cantilevers supported by prefabricated bar braces, was chosen as an optimal solving. The load- bearing structure made of post- tensioned concrete is going to be incrementally launched and be supported by one-column pillars along an axis of the motorway. The work is composed of a detailed design of this preferred variant, which is processed according to the ultimate and serviceability limit state including the construction stage analysis of the bridge by the construction technology by an incremental launching method.
Bridge crane two-girder
Vajmar, Jan ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis describes the design of two-girder overhead crane. At the beginning of the work are designed sectional characteristics of the girder and the crossbeam. Furthermore, they are calculated loads applied during crane operation. Following the determination of the static load and fatigue strength. All calculations are solved with respect to relevant standards relating to overhead cranes. The work also includes analysis of purchased components, which are geared motors, bumpers and drive (no drive) wheels.
Bridge crane one-girder
Chroust, Martin ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
The focus of this thesis is the construction of a single girder overhead crane. The goal is to render a crane construction according to preset parameters. The parameters include a lifting power of 8,000 kg, a 10,000 mm reach, a 2,400 mm wheelbase and a stroke of 8,000 mm. The thesis includes brief theoretical research focused on overhead cranes, their various types and description of their main components. Brief description of chosen parameters for the construction itself follows. The description of chosen parameters includes calculations of strain acting during operation, technical and stability parameters, essential for the construction. All calculations were made with regard to valid Czech technical standards and specialized literature which focuses on the construction of cranes and their parts. Finally, the thesis is extended by the required technical drawings.
Continuous box girder bridge
Hajnoš, Mário ; Páleník, Petr (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is detailed design of supporting structure of continous box girder bridge across a deep valley called Lazný creek. The bridge have to pass the second class road with category S 9,5. The design is processed by two options. The chosen option is designed as a girder with five spans 44,8 m + 55 m + 55 m + 55 m +44,8 m. Total length of bridge is 268,57 m, the main girder is gradually cast into the formwork suspended on a special ceiling scaffolding. The axis of the bridge is in a plan straight with the constant transversal slope 2,5 %. The thesis contains six models in software SCIA ENGINEER. Part of the work is situated on time depended analysis with construction phases. Assesment of ultimate limit states and serviceability limit states were done by hand according to the valid standards and regulations. Structural analysis, drawing documentation and vizualization are parts of this work.
Prestressed bridge on the expressway
Juřenčáková, Jana ; Zlatuška, Karel (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of the diploma thesis is to design a expressway bridge over the river Vsetínská Bečva. The bridge is located between Valašské Meziříčí and Vsetín. Separate superstructures are designed for each directions of the expressway. The right superstructure, which is wider, is considered for detailed design. Two variants were proposed, A double T beam superstructure and a box girder superstructure. The three span box girder superstructure was chosen for the design. Spans are 48+65+48 m long. Two options of construction process of the superstructure were proposed. This bridge is designed according to the limit states, the influence of construction process is considered. Structural models of construction were made as a finite element model and a plate model. Structural analysis, drawings and visualization were developed.
Straddle Carrier
Wojnar, Tomasz ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on a design of loadbearing frame and raising mechanism of straddle carrier, which is used in container terminals. It’s made for transport of container on the surface of terminal. It’s about designer calculation of individual parts of crane frames, applicability of designed parts is checked by strength calculation. Raising mechanism is designed with drive of stroke. Outputs of this bachelor’s thesis are drawings.
Prestressed bridge No. 202 on the expressway R2 in Slovakia
Janek, Tomáš ; Urban, Jiří (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
My diploma thesis deals with design of the bridge number 202 on expressway in Slovakia. The bridge leads across the road number I50 (between Trenčín and Bánovce nad Bebravou) and railway number 130 (between Trenčín and Chynorany). For each course there is a separate super-structure. Only left super-structure is considered for the work. The box girder with four spans is chosen from three variations. This bridge is designed according to limit states, construction´s influence on design is taking into consideration. Structural model of construction is made as a spatial bar model. Structural analysis, well arranged drawings and visualization are elaborated in this thesis too.
