Manufacturing of part of door lock by compound tool

Academic thesis, drawn up within the framework of engineering studies, presents a proposal optimal production of garage door lock striker. The part is manufactured from steel sheet S275JR of 1.5 mm thickness. By the analysis of its possible methods of production, with regard to the required annual series of 500,000 pieces, was chosen technology of manufacturing the part in the compound tool by blanking and bending processes. For these technologies was designed solution of the compound tool and automatic production line with the eccentric crank press SMERAL S160, where is the compound tool fixed. The measure of financial performance of manufacturing the part is economical assessing. In the current state is investment return in the production of 179,186 pieces of the parts.
Stirrup manufacturing by compound tool

The master´s thesis deals with drawing compound tool for production of stirrup. Stirrup is made from steel 17 240 and his thickness is 1,5 mm. The number of production is 400 000 pieces. After completion of constructional calculations was determined eccentric press LEN 40 C and was designed tool. The work is completed by drawing documentation of the compound tool. In the work is performed economic evaluation too. Present technology (blanking, bending) is compare here with new technology- compound tool. Compound tool is profitable, because time and money are saving.
Technology of production reinforcer for car

The project, which have been created within the framework study of engineering branch N2301-2, submit technology project of presswork – car reinforcement from material H 220 P and concept of multi-tool set design for pressing operations 1, 2 and 3. Technology process was designed in six operations, based on literary study of blanking and drawing technology. Multi-tool set is design in according with transfer press Müller Weingarten 1250T-1, which was chosen on the basis of advantageousness calculation. Project includes technical and economical evaluation of elaborated technology whit two other variants of production.
Sheet metal forming production of automobile frame top

The project, which have been created within the framework study of engineering branch N2326, submit project technology process of pressing - part from micro-alloyed steel with higher yield point H 240 LA and proposal of tool design for its pressing. Technology process was designed in ten operations, base on literary studying of cold forming technology. Design of progressive die respects type of press machine, which is specified for production this part. Press KRUPP 400t disposes pressing force 4 000kN. Materials, used for design of tool, are in use by tool shops. Punches and punching dies are produced from steels 19 573, heat-treated according drawing documentation. Drawing punches and dies are produced from steel 19 552, hardened on 56+2HRc and coated by TiCN method.

Project elaborate in terms of engineering studies branch 2303T002 submits proposal technology of production single parts from deep drawing press steel metal plate 11 305.21. On the basis literary study problems blanking, deep drawing and calculations was designed drawing in instrument with holder, to extrusion components serves lower ejector. Combination tool is set on hydraulic press CTH 250 with nominal tensile by force 250 kN. Drawable tools (drawing punch, drawing die) and shear pin tools (blanking punch, blanking die) are made from instrumental steels 19 436.3, heat treated condition to drawing documentation.
Production single parts from sheet metal

The project drawn up within the framework of engineering studies in discipline Manufacturing technology (2303T002) presents a proposal for processing a single part – the part is made of sheet steel number S420MC – by blanking, bending and stamping. On the basis of a literary exploration of given problems several variants of processing a part was propounded in order to be made in just one tool. The transfer combined die is fixed in crank press WAINGARTEN ARP 80 with 800 kN nominal force. All functional parts are made of heat treated tool steel number 19 573.3 according to drawing documentation. Lower functional parts of tool (blanking die, stamping die and bending tool) are made as divided.
Manufacturing possibilities of motorcycle brake wheel

This bachelor thesis presents a variant solution of mass production of motorcycle brake wheel. These are part of rotating component of large diameter and small thickness made up mainly of carbon steel. The thesis presents methods for the production of unconventional machining technologies and methods of molding. As appropriate variants were selected technologies of laser cutting, water jet cutting, plasma cutting, blanking and fineblanking. The individual methods are described and evaluated their suitability for production. For fineblanking method which seems to be optimal is indicated the production process.
The manufacturing of motorcycle tab by blanking technology

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of manufacturing of motorcycle tabs. The tab is made from rust-resistant sheet aluminium (42 4412). The manufacturing process begins on a manufacturing line; it is automated to a great extent and controlled via CNC. If run at full capacity, the line can produce as many as 450 tabs per minute. A total of 300 000 pieces of tabs are manufactured per year. This order is planned to span over five years, during which it shall generate profit amounting approximately to CZK 1.74 million. Economic comparison of laser cutting, water jet cutting, plasma cutting and blanking technologies has confirmed the suitability of the blanking technology for the production batch in question. The quantity of tabs in stock is minimal, as the production process is organised in line with the customer’s requirements.
Manufacturing of Shaped Holes into Stamped Metal Sheet

The aim of bachelor thesis is a proposal of a new technology for manu-facturing of shaped holes into stamped metal sheets. The sheets are made of stainless steel DIN 1.4301 of thickness 0.8 mm. Square holes will be punched into a half-finished metal sheet with pre-pressed lengthwise stamps where elastic-plastic deformations occur. On the basis of study of the sheet metal forming technology, technological calculations and the machine adaptation, a new technology is proposed. The new technology is unassuming both with respect to machinery and tool equipment in a mechanical engineering factory. Also it enables solutions of dimensionally variable die stampings with stamps in higher quality for minimum costs. As the forming machine a punching press, model LDR 25-A, was chosen.
