Half-mode SIW filter.
Jackovič, Petr ; Láčík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hubka, Patrik (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis presents the design of a half mode substrate integrated waveguide band-pass filter by quarter wavelength resonators. This filter is design symestric with quarter resonators are coupled by impedance and admittance inverters. Simulated results shows the HMSIW filter is good performance of low insertion loss, hight quality factor and compact size. In numerical model is good agreement of bandwidth and transmission between simulation and measurement.
Substrate integrated waveguide filter
Vyskočil, Jiří ; Tkadlec, Roman (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
In this thesis is discussed a filter design of a band-pass substrate integrated waveguide filter on the frequency of 5 GHz. It also includes design theory, filter synthesis, filter analysis in the program CST Microwave Studio® and the results of measurement on a vector network analyzer. The analysis results are compared with the measured results. Good agreement between simulated and measured results is observed.
Input analog part of spectral audio analyzer
Taťák, Martin ; Götthans, Tomáš (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is describing the possibilities of composing the input part for the spectral audio analyzer. It also analyzes each theoretical possibility and the best of them is later processed into the form of a prototype board. The draft of this prototype board is contained in the thesis.
Ultrasound blood flow detector
Kameníček, Robert ; Dlouhý, Jiří (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
My master’s thesis deals with methods of measuring the ultrasonic blood flow blood vessel with a detailed focus on Doppler ultrasound systems, which find application in the diagnosis of superficial vascular and obstetrics. The thesis is described a proposal indicating polydirectional Doppler system with a continuous carrier wave frequency of 4 MHz, the intensity of ultrasound 100 mW/cm2 and diameter D-shaped transducers 8 mm. As a result, the indicator will be able to measure blood flow velocity in the range of 5-40 cm/s, which appears to 3.5 digit display. After describing important theoretical assumptions, the work pays block diagram indicator. Furthermore, it examines the various functional blocks on the requirements imposed on them. It looks at the options of each functional block, and finally describes the implementation of the selected option and including peripheral solutions. Great attention is paid to the power of the indicator, where the power supply will be used 9 V battery. Create a symmetric voltage for operate amplifier and other auxiliary voltage will procure DC/DC converters. In conclusion, the work is located around the perimeter solutions indicator. The following draft for the production of double-sided PCB, its installation and a list of elements. The outcome of the thesis is complete documentation for the implementation of an indicator of blood flow, which allows us to obtain information on throughput vessels, especially the lower and upper limbs.
Frequency Filters with Controllable Current Followers
Novotný, Matouš ; Herencsár, Norbert (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
Submitted work engage in suggestion and realization of frequency-selection filters with usage one or more active devices CMI (Current Mirror and Inverter). The preamble of thesis is applied to theory of frequency-selection filters and possible usage of them. The projected circuit layouts are discussed next to would be possible change some of choice parameters of frequency-selection filter. The part of thesis is numerical suggestion of found solutions, their simulation in suitable program and realization.
Design of output digital part for band-pass sigma-delta modulator
Hort, Marek ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Fujcik, Lukáš (advisor)
This work deals with questions connected with design of output digital part of sigma-delta conversion unit - band-pass filter type. It was created model of sigma-delta modulator and model of output digital part of conversion unit via MATLAB SIMULINK. Created design was define by VHDL programming language and was implemented to FPGA. Sigma-delta modulator band-pass filter type is part of BANDPASS MODULATOR chip which was designed at Department of microelectronics, University of technology Brno, and witch is designed for measuring of capacity of pressure sensors. There were made PCB for testing of behaviour of output digital part and BPM.
Ultrasonic blood flow meter
Pavlík, Dušan ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with ultrasound blood flow meter design with emphasis on practical implementation of such device. This medical device is used in ultrasound diagnostic, especially for measuring direction and velocity of blood flow in superficial vessels. This thesis contains consecutive design including description of individual function blocks. Documents for making double-sided printed circuit are included as well.
Stereo equalizer with spectrum analyzer
Náhlík, Ondřej ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s work is focused on design of ten band analog stereo equalizer, which is solved by using an active band-pass filters of 2nd order. Simulated output signal isn‘t rippled more than ± 1 dB at zero amplification and can be amplified at maximum ca. ± 8 dB. Prototype of equalizer is then built and it’s characteristics are measured. The circuit of an integrated power amplifier working in the class AB is solved in the next part of this work. Amplifier is then built and it’s characteristics are measured. In the last part of this work, there is described function of a spectral analyzer which is then designed, built and programmed. The analyzer uses the Fast Fourier transform (FFT) and resulting spectrum is displayed on a display.
Band-pass filter integration into the planar antenna structure
Miřácký, Jan ; Kovács, Peter (referee) ; Všetula, Petr (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis includes the description of the design, numerical analyses and optimalization of three band-pass planar microstrip filters which operate in microwave band. Parameters of individual band-pass filters are mutually compared and then the filters are integrated to the required planar antenna structure. The thesis also includes a numerical model and detailed analysis of a patch antenna in program CST Microwave Studio. The integrated structure with the best parameters is experimentally fabricated and measured.
Power inverter with active rectifier
Dvořáček, Daniel ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Rubeš, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the principle of functions, constructions and possibilities of the control of inductions machines. There is also briefly described the issue of the power transducers from which the frequency converters are coming out, as well as is described here the process of designing of the power part of the converter.
