Intenzita mimokořenového příjmu bóru rostlinou řepky ozimé
Zhoř, Jiří
The aim of this thesis was the evaluation of the foliar application of selected foliar fertilizers in the plant nutrition of winter oilseed rape plant (Brassica napus var. napus). In the container experiment, there was observed the efficiency of different doses of foliar applied fertilizers containing boron in various forms, such as boron ethanolamine (Borosan Forte) and boron bonded to a chelate (Lifio Boron). The container experiment was implemented in the greenhouses of the Department of Agrochemistry, Soil Science, Microbiology and Plant Nutrition at the Faculty of AgriSciences at Mendel University in Brno. The evaluation of the effect of fertilizers was based on the weight of winter oilseed rape plants and on the amount of absorbed B after 2, 6 and 10 days after foliar application. The highest absorbed amount of boron in the plants was observed in the variant C (dose 300g B/ha) and the lowest amount in the variant B (dose 150 g B/ha). The results also showed the positive effect of boron foliar application on plant growth and dry mass production.

Koriťák, Pavel
The aim of this thesis was the evaluation of the effect of foliar fertilization by microelements combined with nitrogen fertilization on the yield and quality of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) The experiment was implemented as a container experiment and field experiment. There were 5 variants of the container experiment: B1 (150 g B/ha), B2 (300 g B/ha), B3 (150 + 150 g B/ha), Zn1 (300g Zn/ha) and Zn2 (150 + 150 g Zn/ha) - all with the same dose of calcium nitrate. The field experiment was designed in Nová Červená Voda in 3 variants: B1 (150 g B/ha), B2 (300 g B/ha) a B3 (150 + 150 g B/ha) – all with the same dose of NPK fertilizer. In the container experiment, the highest NDVI was measured in Zn1 variant. The NDVI showed a significant dependence on the average yield of fruit. The lowest nitrate content was seen in Zn1 variant. The highest yield of fruit was in Zn2 variant. In the field experiment, the highest yield of fruit was in variant B3. The results of the experiments showed positive effect of nitrogen application combined with the microelements on yield and quality of tomatoes.
Využití hnojiv skupiny CARBON ve výživě máku
Ježek, Jaromír
The aim of this thesis was the evaluation of the effect of foliar fertilization by CARBON fertilizers on seed production and health condition of poppy. The experiment was designed in three variants – the ,,control‘‘ variant (without of fertilizers), the first ‘‘fertilized‘‘ variant (fertilizers CARBONBOR Q + CARBON Zn) and the second ‘‘fertilized‘‘ variant (fertilizers CARBONBOR Q + CARBON Zn + CARBON Si). Fertilizers were applied in the phase of 8th – 10th leaf of poppy (DC 30) and the doses were 0.8 l/ha CARBONBOR Q (120 g B); 1.33 l/ha CARBON Zn (200 g Zn) and 0.75 l/ha CARBON Si (62 g Si). Application of fertilizers increased the amount of boron, zinc, nitrogen and potassium in plants of poppy. Production of dry matter was increased almost by 50% in fertilized plants. Fertilization has positively influenced plant health. The poppy seed-yield was increased after foliar fertilizer application between 4% and 6.6% compared to control variant.
The effect of production parameters on the plasticity of structural steel
Brabec, Martin ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the influence of heat treatment and storage time on microstructure and mechanical properties of 26MnB5 steel, which is used in the production of tubular components in the quenched and tempered state. The objective was to increase the plasticity of the steel by the definition of new process parameters of the induction heat treatment line. New tempering diagrams of 26MnB5 steel for two various speeds of the heat treatment line were established and used to determine new tempering temperature and speed of the heat treatment line. Observation of the influence of storage time on mechanical properties of the steel did not reveal that it is liable to ageing.
Application of modern analytical methods for the study of selected boron coordination compounds
Hrušková, Helena ; Jelínek, Ivan (advisor) ; Dian, Juraj (referee)
This thesis is focused on the study of boron coordination compounds, specifically boron pyrogallol and 2,3-dihydroxynaphthalene ligand complexes. In the introductory part of the work are discussed the properties of boron compounds, their preparation, the possibility of separation by capillary electrophoresis and methods of structural characterization. In the first part of the thesis, the methods of preparation of complexes are discussed and for each complex the optimal yield response is chosen. The resulting products were studied by low resolution mass spectrometry. In the second part of the thesis, structures of complexes, including their modeling in the Gaussian program, were described more precisely. Furthermore, the complexes were characterized by high resolution mass spectrometry. The complexes were also studied by 11 B, 1 H and 1 H COSY NMR and IR spectroscopy. The third part was devoted to the separation of these substances from the mixture after the reaction. CE-UV and CE-MS techniques were used for this purpose. To convert the results, the separation method was developed in ammonium formate buffers that are compatible with both instruments. The equilibration between complexes and ligands was also monitored by CE-UV. A special chapter is the study of pyrogallol autooxidation by UV-VIS and...
Towards lateral interactions within self-organized monomolecular layers
Staněk, Jan ; Baše, Tomáš (advisor) ; Bastl, Zdeněk (referee)
This work aimed at the utilization of chemical principles for stabilization of self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of carboranethiol derivatives on a flat gold surface. Ideas employing surface confined coordination complex formation and dipole-dipole intermolecular interactions were outlined and the respective literature survey was compiled. Preliminary experiments were carried out to test for their feasibility and surfaces modified with self assembled monolayers proved very sensitive to reaction conditions ordinarily used for bulk synthesis. The chemical sensitivity of the studied surfaces, the necessity of using appropriate surface-sensitive analytical techniques and the depth of the problem initially defined made this task both advanced and challenging. The formation of intermolecular coordination complexes with ω-carboxylated SAMs of meta-carborane-9-thiol was chosen to answer those issues, extending the previous work of the author on carboxylated carboranethiol isomers presented in his bachelor thesis. Concepts different of those based on coordination chemistry are briefly discussed as well, but more as prospects for future work and to present this work in a broader context to which it belongs. Characterization of molecules assembled on a surface in a single layer requires surface sensitive...

Small terrestrial mammals as an indicator of the restoration Sokolov area after coal mining
Červená, Lucie ; Kouba, Marek (advisor) ; Markéta, Markéta (referee)
Aim of this paper was to describe the diversity of small terrestrial mammals on selected habitats of Velka podkrusnohorska spoil heap and surrounded areas. Between years 2013 2015 there was realized seven catching on the twenty seven study sites. In every year we repeated a catches in spring and autumn period. The selected habitats were: wetlands, meadows, pine forests, oak forests and successional forests. As a capture method was chose standard line method with usage of snap traps. The obtained data were statically analysed by the R program and the diversity was compared based on the Shannon-Wiener index of diversity. We compared abundance and diversity between spoil heap study sites and surrounding study sites, which were situated out of the Velka podkrusnohorska spoil heap and was sign as control sites. We chose three study sites of every habitat situated on spoil heap and another three sites of every habitat situated out of the spoil heap (control sites). In total we caught 720 small terrestrial mammals of ted species: Crocidura leucodon, Crocidura suaveolens, Microtus arvalis, Microtus agrestis, Mus domesticus, Apodemus sylvaticus, Apodemus flavicollis, Myodes glareolus, Sorex araneus and Sorex minutus. The highest diversity was on the four wetlands sites which three of them were situated on the spoil heap. The highest abundance was at the meadow site Matyas which was situated on the spoil heap. In the overall assessment of the abundance and diversity of communities of small terrestrial mammals was confirmed equality of spoil heap sites and control sites. In the assessment of abundance and diversity of individual habitats was confirmed equality of spoil heal sites and control sites. Exception was abundance between forests spoil heap sites and control sites, where the equality of abundance was rejected because of higher abundance of control sites. We decide to compare technically restored sites and sites using managed successions on the spoil heap. The diversity of technically restored pine forests and successional forest was confirmed but the equality of abundance of these sites was rejected because of the higher abundance of successional forests. The equality of diversity and abundance of technically restored oak forests and successional forests was rejected because successional forests had higher both of these values.
