Engineering design of the vehicle suspension rocker
Poláček, Vojtěch ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Bradávka, Marek (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the design and stress analysis of the rocker suspension for an autocross car. The research describes some real cases of using suspension with pushrod and rocker in motorsport. Subsequently, the work deals with the design of the wheel bump/rebound limiting stops and bump/rebound measuring. The challenge is to design a component shape, size and select fit of a rocker with an emphasis on low weight whilst maintaining sufficient strength and rigidity. The design study include stress analysis which leads to optimize the final shape.
Adjustment and modification made to the serially produced combustion engine to get an engine for racing purposes
Závodný, Tomáš ; Knotek, Jiří (referee) ; Maršálek, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis analyses the modification of the serially produced combustion engine to get an engine for racing purposes. The first part is conceived as searching and is focused on why this serially produced engine was modified to racing engine and which adjustments were made on this naturally aspirated engine. Another part was dedicated to design simulation in the software ADAMS MD R3 and the results of these simulations were processed and evaluated. Conclusion contains a comparison of the results from the software and results from an actual engine dynamometer, and what is the overall success of the project in real life.
Concept of Autocross Racing Car
Dobrovolný, Ondřej ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the design and simulation of torsional stiffness of the frame for autocross racing car. The design put emphasis on observe the regulations of international automobile federation and the result of torsional rigidity and weight. The first part focuses on the design of vehicles for autocross and its regulations. The main part is the structural design of the frame, following with simulation analysis using finite element method and computing torsional stiffness. In conclusion, results are evaluate and referred for further development.
Children Terrain Electric Vehicle
Sedlář, Martin ; Rozsíval, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
The master’s thesis is focused on a conceptual design of a children terrain vehicle with electric drive. At the first part there are described children terrain vehicles rules, electric drives, regulations for a frame test and types of suspension. Then a suitable electric engine, an accumulator and other important parts of the vehicle are chosen. The following part describes the frame construction and its stress-strain analysis using Finite element method. The last part of thesis describes the suspension construction and front suspension kinematics solved in a multibody software. The result of thesis is a vehicle conceptual design created in CAD software Creo, supported by results of the stress-strain and kinematic analysis.
Transmission mechanisms of autocross racing cars
Bárta, Jiří ; Klapka, Milan (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis is special technical search with concentration on creating of overview drive conceptions and transmission mechanisms at autocross racing cars. As the basis of the information there was processed the proposal of conception drive double engine arrangement for class 1.600 ccm. The whole thesis is comleted with photo-documentation of racing special cars and with their parts.
