Project Documentation of Electrical Wiring for the Family House in Scope for Realization
Orság, Štěpán ; Janík, Daniel (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is focused on project documentation for a family house in the scope for implementation. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part presents a theoretical analysis of data distribution and materials for the design of lighting and lightning protection system. The intelligent Loxone system, which is used in a family house project, is also presented in the first part. The second part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on creation of an implementation project, which is consists of text and drawing part. The project includes budget control and risk control. The design of lighting and lightning protection system is also included here. Work drawings of wiring in the house, parts of lightning protection and design of switchboards are integral part of the thesis.
Fire station with gym
Svoboda, Martin ; Machová, Petra (referee) ; Vajkay, František (advisor)
The aim of the work is to design Fire station with a gym in Olomouc. Diploma thesis has three parts. First from institute of building structures, second from intitute of building services and last part is devoted to modeling and assessment of details of building. Fire station is divided into three parts. Garage for 3 fire trucks, main part and gym with training tower. The main part contains toilets, showers, locker rooms, storage places, offices and facilities for firefighters and office rooms. Structural elements of the building are from reinforced concrete. Infill walls are made from ceramic bloks. Thermal insulation is from mineral wool and cladding of the wall is made of fibre-cement boards. The slab in the main part is made of cast-in-place concrete. Others slabs in the garage and gym are made of prefabricated elements. On the building are desined three types of roofs. Extensive green roof, flat roof with a stabilization layer of river aggregates and roof made of insulating sandwich panels. In the thesis is design conception of artificial lighting, ventilating, heating, cooling, water managment, photovoltaics and management scheme of energy and ecological systems. The work contains project documentation for building permits, which were made in accordance with applicable legal and technical regulations.
Civic amenities building
Baroň, Alexandr ; Pilný, Ondřej (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
The first part of this diploma thesis is to design an energy-efficient hotel with restaurant and car parking. The second part is also to create an assessment of the energy performance of the building and usage of energy from renewable sources. Hotel is designed with the idea of „smart buildings“ which means, that all the technological background is controlled by the main computer, which also harvests data to achieve a minimum energy use and financial demand and maximum comfort and safety at the same time by controlling the connected technology. By placing on a sloped terrain in the center of Brno, the basement floor can be used as car parking. The roof of this building is flat, green, with modifications for placing solar panels, whose design is part of this work. The third part of this diploma thesis is the spatial acoustics of the conference room on the first ground floor.
Automatical plant growing
Stupka, Tomáš ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Götthans, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to design and an automated hydroponic station, which will be intended for the cultivation of herbs and vegetables for the purpose of user. The station will be controlled by a Raspberry Pi minicomputer, to which a number of sensors will be connected, which will check pH, EC, ambient temperature and other quantities. Furthermore, an external sensor with an ATMEGA328P control processor will be designed to check the ambient lighting parameters. A web interface will be created for the station, which will allow the user to follow the development of individual measured quantities over time.
Energy-efficient hotel building in Karviná
Segeďa, Petr ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of the master’s thesis is to design an energy-efficient hotel in Karviná. In the first part, an architectural and structural solution was proposed. The building has three above-ground storeys. The structural system was designed as structural frame with beams and slabs, made of reinforced concrete. The material of external wall is aerated concrete blocks insulated with the ETICS with poly. The roof is flat. There are 40 thermal collectors and 69 photovoltaics panels. On the first floor, there are four guest rooms, a restaurant, a kitchen, a reception, toilets, a utility room, a mechanical room, and facilities for employees. The guest rooms are located on the second and third floor. HVAC was designed in the second part. Heating is provided by two heat pumps. The first heat pump provides domestic hot water in the winter, heating with radiators, for air handling unit heaters and cooling in the summer. The second heat pump is used only for floor heating in the winter. In the building are designed four air handling units for the kitchen, the restaurant and two for the guest rooms. Rainwater from the roof is collected in accumulation tank for flushing the toilets. In the third part, I evaluated the calculation of energy performance certificate in two softwares, namely Energie 2021 and DEKSOFT. The aim to find out, why the results are different in these softwares. The Drawings were done in ArchiCAD. The calculation part was made in Excel.
Civic amenities building
Zachar, Dominik ; Pilný, Ondřej (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
The aim of master´s project is to design a new civic amenity building. The chosen type of building is a cinema in cadastral area Strážnice. It is a three-storey building with a walkable roof. On the first floor there are 2 cinema hall, bufet, canteen, storerooms and sanitary facilities. On the second and third floor there are sound room, projection room sanitary facilities and air conditioning engine room. On the roof there are terrace with cafe bar. The vertical loadbearing structures are designed from reinforced concrete in all storeys. The building is insulated by a contact thermal insulation system. The horizontal loadbearing structures are designed from prestressed spiroll panels. The staircase are designed from reinforced monolithic/cast-in-place concrete slab. The flat roof consists of a flat roof with extensive greenery and a terrace. Building is heated by stationary gas condensing boiler. Ventilated by air handling unit and cooling by outdoor cooling unit. Artificial lighting will be provided by dimmable LED lights. Rainwater will be collected in a tank and reused. On the flat roof is situated photovoltaic system. The spatial acoustics were designed so that the calculation of the reverberation time in the room meets the requirements of applicable standards and regulations.
Eye tracking helps architectural animation: Case study of the cathedral in Pécs
Xu, Yujie ; Katona, Vilmos
The Zsolnay Light Festival in Pécs is the only light festival in Hungary. The light show on the cathedral’s façade was a significant part of the 2010 European Capital of Culture programme. This paper investigates the impact of this dynamic art on the audience’s sensory experience using biometric technology. We evaluate six patterns projected onto buildings, which were distinguished parts of the animated light shows. For the attraction analysis of the animations’ key visual pattern frames, we use 3M’s VAS eye tracking simulation software. Furthermore, in parallel with Nikos Salingaros’ engagement-theory on architectural facades, we explore how visual stimulation changes when projecting artificial light works on them. By establishing comparative groups of visual contrasts (i.e., figurative, space simulating, dynamic, or abstract), we obtain various levels of engagement.
