Tool for Writing and Progress Tracking of Technical Report
Pavelka, Martin ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes the design, implementation and testing of modern web app- lication which allows continual writing of technical documentation and following the whole creation process. A teacher de nes the structure of the project and makes it accessible to students. The student continually writes the documentation. The process will be recorded by the system and the statistics will be displayed to students and administrators for their motivation and inspiration.
Implement Android Application for Download and Listening to Audio Podcasts
Bajaník, Filip ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with implementation of an Android application for downloading and listening to the audio podcasts. Application is mainly focused on a friendly user interface and integration of the podcast service Audeliver. The first part of this thesis contains theoretical specifications of the platform and analysis of the existing solutions. The second part is concentrated into the actual application design, implementation and testing. The final part reviews the progress of the final application and presents possibilities of the potential development.
Active Directory Management Dashboard
Radimák, Samuel ; Křena, Bohuslav (referee) ; Fiedor, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the main concepts of Active Directory and the creation of an application allowing basic management tasks. It introduces the logical as well as physical components and provides an overview of existing servers that are using the services of Active Directory. The functionality of existing management applications is discussed and desired properties of management applications are discovered. On these grounds, a new application concept is introduced and the benefits of the new application over the existing ones is shown. According to the concept, a new application is developed supporting the management of users and groups and implementing additional features such as profile photo editing and a definition of customized object creation process. This application is also tested on different levels and possibilities of future improvements are given.
Presentation Manager for Android
Vančo, Matúš ; Čermák, Martin (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the Android mobile platform and describes design and implementation of application for managing presentations. Application allows you to organize blocks and assist in presentations. The emphasis is on using innovative principles of the Android platform.
Contemporary UAS and the possibilities of their application to European commercial space
Matejko, Filip ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Vosecký, Slavomír (advisor)
The work contains a brief overview of some modern unmanned aerial systems and later their capabilities of integration into controlled airspace in Europe. It discusses the current legislation dealing with different areas of integration of UAS and the update and developing process of legislation. Another section deals with the exploration of the possibilities of using unmanned aircraft in the commercial sector and their impact on the existing air transportation. The last section is devoted to the technical aspects associated with the integration of UAS into controlled areas. It describes the current systems of the CNS and their possible development in conjunction with UAVs and also a significant part of the work is devoted to the technology of the S&A (Sense and Avoid). During the entire work is gradually evaluate the current situation of the operation of UAS and are designed and recommended necessary changes that will need to be perform to their successful integration into the controlled airspace.
The Use of Statistical Methods for Data Processing
Matuškovič, Marián ; Štěpánková, Vladěna (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
This master thesis focuses on application of statistical methods in the processing of data. The first part of the thesis describes the theoretical foundations that are the basis for the practical part. Next part of this thesis describes the statistical and financial analysis and also design of an application that automate usage of statistical methods of regression analysis to predict the future economic situation development of the company. This thesis contains theory of time series methods and regression analysis.
Lighting systems in off-grid applications
Lengyel, Ladislav ; Škoda, Jan (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
Aim of the master's thesis is at first to explain appropriate light sources and lighting systems; secondly present suitable light sources selection for lighting a small space and design of an off-grid system. The last part consists of an overview about alternative energy transformations to light energy. The first of these three major themes focuses on the analysis of light sources suitable for use in applications with accumulation together with data on energy efficiency and the utilization efficiency associated with them, concentrating on their consumption and possible energy saving lighting within small applications. It ends with a description and calculations of electricity energy indicators for different types of rooms. The second and main part of the thesis is focusing on suitable light sources selection for off-grid systems and impacts on humans and the environment associated with it. An object representing a small application has been created in RELUX® software with suitable light sources installed in it. For this scene, appropriate parts of off-grid systems were selected, which could be used to power the proposed lighting. The last theme consists of a brief about alternative sources, most of which are still in development or existing only at a theoretical level. All of these alternative sources are having a possible application in the future.
Creation of laboratory exercises in the NS3 enviroment
Štefančík, Matej ; Langhammer, Lukáš (referee) ; Polák, Josef (advisor)
Diploma thesis provides an introduction to the ns-3 network simulator. It describes the basic abstactions and components of the instrument. This work further discusses the theory, which was applied during simulation creation. The concept of unicast, the issue of IP addressing and routing in networks are specificaly analyzed. The practical part is focused on the creation of four laboratory tasks within the scope of Advanced Communication Techniques. The first task is dedicated to the the issue of static unicast routing in the network. It clarifies the impact of metrics on the process of routing. The following task compares the different types of ICMPv4 and ICMPv6 messages. The third task discusses additional functions of the ICMPv6. Specifically, it focuses on five different types of ICMPv6 messages defined by NDP (Neighbor Discovery Protocol) and their role in the network traffic. The last task focuses on ensuring the quality of services (QoS) in wireless networks, by setting priorities and thereby dividing the traffic into different classes. Attention is focused on parameters such as throughput, delay and jitter.
Design of mobile robot’s communication interface between low level control unit and main computer
Garaj, Martin ; Mašek, Petr (referee) ; Růžička, Michal (advisor)
The Bachelor's thesis deals with communication incompatibility between mobile devices and microcontrollers. The task is to design and test a solution that works on mobile devices with Android operating system and any microcontroller. The outcome of the thesis is an application enabling communication between high-level and low-level computational unit within semi-autonomous convoy project.
Web application containing the information about exchange rates on the Slovak and Czech market
Stríž, Oliver ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Černý, Michael (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to make the market analysis and to test my theorem. I work with hypothesis that people who are visiting web portals containing the information about exchange rates can use the application for finding exchange rates from multiple banks in different countries simultaneously. The users consider this application very useful and also very beneficial because of the tool what shows them which bank is more favorable to change the money - either in the home country or in the foreign one. In the thesis, the reader will find information about a draft of application for catching the exchange rates and also about its programming. There is also draft of database generated by framework Hibernate in the thesis. In the thesis is described my way of thinking during creating the PHP scripts.
