Modeling of electromagnetic field propation in tunnels
Mobile IPv6 handover analysis
Klügl, Richard ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on IP mobility support for mobile users and their devices in IPv6-based wireless networks. Then the Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) protocol was proposed for this purpose and that is also the main objective of the thesis. This consists of several basic sections and is organized as follows: The first one deals with the overview of the function of Mobile IP, which enables the mobility of nodes around the Internet, without a change of their original IP address. Moreover there are introduced the primary differences between MIPv6 and its previous version – i.e., MIPv4, proposed for IPv4-based environment. The second chapter of the master’s thesis thereafter describes detailed information about all the most important mechanisms and features of Mobile IPv6 and this way tries to explain principles of its functioning. Further the thesis analyses some of proposed MIPv6 extensions – i.e., Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 (HMIPv6), Mobile IPv6 Fast Handover (FMIPv6) a Fast Handover for HMIPv6 (F-HMIPv6) protocols, and mainly aim at signaling process during the handover of a mobile node. In the last main section of the master’s thesis an analytical method to evaluate the performance of IPv6-based mobility management protocols was proposed. Subsequently, this method is applied on the protocols which were mentioned above and are studied the effects of various network parameters on the performance of these protocols.
Secure applications with microcontrollers
Sobotka, Jiří ; Herman, Ivo (referee) ; Balík, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with problematics of secure operations of microcontrollers. During long-term use, the microcontrollers can be affected by error or malfunction. The aim of this thesis is to describe the types of errors which can affect processors, cause of creation of these errors and possibilities of preventing malfunctions in microcontrollers. There is many problems connected with operation of microcontrollers, therefore there are many methods to prevent these problems. First part of this thesis deals with description of types of mistakes and with attempts of theirs modelling. Second part of this thesis narrate possibilities of preventing each type of mistake during designing the system or during operation of microcontroller and explaining methods of fault toleration by using redundant circuits in case of hardware fault and by modifying source code in case of software faults. In third part the hazard analytical methods are described. The recognition of events able to damage the system has high importance. The risk analysis takes place during developing and during operation of the system. Fourth part is trying to describe some of the processor testing techniques as main method of finding errors before operating use of microcontroller. Last part attempts to practical draft of testing algorithm for chosen microprocessor and application of one of analytical techniques.
Heat transfer in the storage cask and its impact on the environment
Marcell, Jan ; Slovák, Jiří (referee) ; Matal, Oldřich (advisor)
The main object of this diploma thesis is solving problems concerning heat transfer in disposal cannister for spent nuclear fuel. In forepart possibilities of conceptual solving according of disposal cannister to particular states are reviwed. On the basis of this a variant of possible protect of a nuclear fuel repository in the Czech republic has been chosen for calculationof a simplified model. Second part is computational solving that was divided into two parts. The first deals with calculation of heat transfer in disposal canister and is done by an analytical method. In the second part is calculation is done by numerical model. In this way region in near surroundings of this model of disposal cannister is analysed. Last part those diploma thesis deals with design of the storage of spacing among disposal canisters as well as optimum placing in underground part of nuclear fuel repository.
Integrated solution of waste gas-to-energy unit
Freisleben, Vít ; Buzík, Jiří (referee) ; Reppich, Marcus (referee) ; Jegla, Zdeněk (advisor)
Waste Gas-to-Energy (WGtE) units allow the thermal processing of gaseous waste and its simultaneous energy recovery. However, the operation of WGtE units involves a large consumption of external fuel, and the flue gases produced require the application of flue gas cleaning technology. This thesis presents the results of a study focused on the topic of integrated WGtE unit design, which is an effective approach for achieving external fuel consumption savings while minimizing investment costs. Firstly, it presents the developed analytical method for the design of technological modifications of existing WGtE units treating waste gases in order to achieve their economical and more environmentally friendly operation. Attention is mainly paid to the description of the developed mathematical relations and graphical tools that can be used by the professional community, especially by the operators of WGtE units. To further reduce the negative environmental impact of these units, the second area addressed in the thesis is the development of flue gas cleaning equipment for the reduction of nitrogen oxides concentration. In addition to the technological concept and design of this device, the results of experimental work in laboratory and industrial environment are presented, where the great potential of using these devices in WGtE units as well as in a wide range of other industrial combustion plants was confirmed.
Judicial System from the Perspective of an Entrepreneur
GRÁF, Luboš
The bachelor thesis deals with the judicial system from the perspective of the entrepreneur and companies in the Czech Republic. Business is a demanding and complex activity that often meets with the judiciary. From the very beginning, it is very important to choose the right legal form of business. In every form of business the entrepreneur must fulfil certain obligations. In the course of business, a lot of things can happen, for example, the entrepreneur does not get paid for the delivered goods and the thing can end up at court. In extreme cases business can end in insolvency. The theoretical part explains all the important concepts that are essential for entrepreneurs. The practical part uses these terms and based on a questionnaire survey, tests and determines awareness of the judicial system of Czech entrepreneurs and companies. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the court system, to present various aspects that need to be dealt with in business and to outline the usual lengths of litigations.
Komparace stupně degradace půdní organické hmoty v podmínkách intenzivního a extenzivního způsobu hospodaření
CAPLOVÁ, Marie
The diploma thesis deals with the comparison of the degree of degradation of soil organic matter in two agricultural entities - small farmers and agricultural cooperatives. The components of soil organic matter are divided into two parts - primary soil organic matter, which has labile and stable fractions in terms of hydrolysis, oxidation and biodegradability. It may be decomposed or non-decomposed, may have sorption properties, but never has significant ion exchange properties because it has no dissociable hydrogen groups. Humus, unlike primary soil organic matter, is so stable that it is virtually indecomposable in terms of human age. It always has a significant ion exchange ability, in addition to sorption properties. This division better explains the assessment of the quality and quantity of humus and primary organic matter in the soil. An analysis of soil organic matter is performed according to no. patent 304265, which is based on a modification of a single analytical method - oxidimetric determination of carbon.
