The Business Concept of Start-up Dealing with Automation and Modernization of Sports Fields

The diploma thesis focuses on the processing of a viable and scalable business concept dealing with the automation and modernization of sports fields. The theoretical part contains a literary framework focusing on the concept of the problem and methodology in start-ups and a description of selected analytical-research methods, which are then used in the analytical part. The analytical part focuses on validating the business idea using the Lean Canvas method and conducting further analyses of the business environment. The proposal part contains the chosen strategy for the start-up business, the business model and the minimum viable product with the possibility of subsequent scaling with customer segments.

The objective of this thesis is to increase the competitiveness of the company “Wine and other goodies” by creating new marketing strategies. For development of a new strategy I will start from analyzing of the current strategy. The work is divided into three main parts. The first part deals with the theoretical background, the second part focuses on the presentation and analysis of the current situation and the last so called „recommendation part” - formulates a draft of the marketing strategy to increase profits, gain new clients but also retain existing customers.

The subject of bachelor thesis prepared on the theme Conditions for creation of a business environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina, comparison to the Czech Republic was to combine various information about the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina into a manual, and thus to provide the opportunity for potential Czech investors and entrepreneurs to orientate in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina easier. The aim is to analyze the current political, social and economic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to identify flaws and suggest possibilities of reforms.
