Retraining as a Tool in the Struggle Against Unemployment

Following diploma thesis is focused on retraining as a form of vocational adult education and on its possibilities in the struggle against unemployment. This thesis aims to describe retraing in terms of being an effective measure of active labour-market policy as well as to examine thorougly the actual contribution of retraining scheme for increasing both employment rate and employability. This effort subsequently entails the disclosure of some weaknesses in the implementation of this measure. Diploma thesis therefore contains also some recommendation for improving the existing practice. The theoretical part of the thesis starts by providing general overview of fundamentals of a theme such as labour market, unemployment or labour policy. Then it moves on theoretical description of retraining scheme itself. Empirical part of the thesis is founded on analysis of the local labour market (the territory of the capital city Prague) and on the particular means of action in the implementation of retraing scheme here.

The influence on active labour-market policy and its financing after European Union accession

The thesis conducts an analysis of active labour-market policy and its support in the framework of the European Social Fund. The first section is specialized in labour policy and described documents of European Union in this framework. The second section of the paper focuses on active labour-market policy -- its development, implementation, tool kit as well as its reaction to European Union requirements and a subsequent efficiency evaluation of a number of programmes aimed to support the active labour-market policy. The next section assesses the achievability of quantitative targets of the Lisbon strategy which the Czech Republic should meet by 2010, i.e. whether we are on track to meet these targets. We aim to determine the achievability of targets using an analysis of employment. The following important section looks at labour policy expenditures in the Czech Republic, their change over time and particularly after the European Union accession in 2004, since when the Czech Republic has been able to draw financial support from the European Social Fund. The last section therefore deals with the European Social Fund, in particular with the implementation of projects, assessment of their impact on employment growth and recommendations for improvements in the efficiency of their execution.

Active policy of unemployment in Vysocina region

The diploma thesis deals with active policy of unemployment in Vysočina region. Theoretical part describes unemployment, its measuring and instruments of active policy of unemployment in the Czech republic. The second part of the diploma thesis characterizes Vysocina region, its administrative division and social and economic structure. This part also describes labor market and unemployment in the region and its divisions. Some datas concerning unemployment in particular divisions of Vysočina region are compared to each other and to the average level of unemployment in the Czech republic. Then I will focus on the particular instruments of active policy of unemployment used in Vysočina region, their successfulness in lowering unemployment and financial demandness. All the instruments are then compared to each other. There is the evaluation of the contribution of active policy of unemployment to the labour market in Vysocina region at the end of the diploma thesis

Analysis of cooperation with employment offices with recruitment (FOXCONN CZ s.r.o. - production branch in Kutná Hora)

First part of thesis describes the theoretical basis of theme. The first section relates to legislative regulation of employment area including its development from 2004. The second chapter attends to cooperation possibilities of employers and employment offices. Second part of thesis concentrates on analysis of situation of particular employer - FOXCONN CZ company. The first section of this part describes the company in light of its history, positions and present cooperation with employment offices. The second section characterizes situation on regional employment market including history of local employment office and interview with its employees. The last chapter contains the particulat analysis of present cooperation methods with employment offices, economical view on this problem and final recommendations.

Diplomová práce se věnuje aktuální problematice dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti. Obsahuje podrobnou analýzu tohoto negativního jevu na trhu práce v Evropské unii a v České republice. Kriticky hodnotí výsledky Lisabonské strategie k posilování konkurenceschopnosti v EU, která v širších souvislostech ovlivňuje vývoj nezaměstnanosti. Vedle návrhu opatření ke snižování dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti je popsán projekt Příležitostné registrované práce.

Efektivnost rekvalifikací na Příbramsku

Práce se zaměřuje na rekvalifikace, jako na jeden z nástrojů aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti. Cílem je zhodnocení efektivnosti rekvalifikací. První část práce se zabývá obecným vymezením základních pojmů a informací o problematice nezaměstnanosti, charakteristikou trhu práce a APZ. Přibližuje role, cíle a nástroje APZ. Druhá část bakalářské práce rozebírá a hodnotí úroveň regionální APZ se zaměřením na rekvalifikační programy. Zkoumá využití rekvalifikací v letech 1997 ? 2007. Pozornost je věnována počtu osob zařazených do pracovního procesu na základě rekvalifikačních kurzů. Seznamuje s vývojem míry nezaměstnanosti ve sledovaném období, s činností úřadů práce v Příbrami a kvalitou poskytovaných služeb. Současně se práce zajímá o národní projekty, které úřad práce v Příbrami realizuje, jako jsou například projekt ?Najdi si práci? , ?Příprava na práci? a projekt ?Návrat do práce?. V závěru se práce soustřeďuje na určení zaměstnavatelů v regionu a stručně se pokusí představit dva z nich. Práce vyúsťuje do zhodnocení současného stavu regionu ? doporučení a možné návrhy ke zlepšení.

ÚLOHA NEZISKOVÉ ORGANIZACE PŘI ŘEŠENÍ NEZAMĚSTNANOSTI (NA PŘÍKLADU MĚSTA PLZEŇ)

Diplomova prace se zabyva moznostmi uplatneni neziskove organizace pri reseni problemu nezamestnanosti na prikladu mesta Plzen. V teoreticke casti je definovan trh prace, nezamestnanost, jeji druhy a priciny, jakozto i moznosti statu jak s nezamestnanosti bojovat. Je zde definovan neziskovy sektor a jeho postaveni v CR obecne s podrobnejsim zamerenim na neziskove organizace pusobici v socialni oblasti. Druha cast je venovana pripadove studii ve meste Plzni, konkretne cinnosti Obcanske poradny v Plyni a jejimi moznostmi pomoci nezamestnanym v Plzni. Hlavnim cilem teto prace je ukazat prinosy neziskovych organizaci, zduraznit jejich postaveni ve spolecnosti jakozto jednoho z participujicich subjektu na deni v regionu a nastinit jejich moznosti pusobeni v oblasti prace s nezamestnanymi.

Rizikové skupiny na trhu práce v Ústeckém kraji

Cílem práce je analýza a zachycení situace na trhu práce Ústeckého kraje za poslední období. Hlavní důraz kladu na rizikové skupiny nezaměstnaných, které jsou zde velice silně zastoupené, zejména potom kategorie absolventů a mladších 25 let, která je považována za jednu z nejpostiženějších a u které popisuji hlavní příčiny a faktory tuto skupinu ovlivňující. Dále zde také analyzuji politiku zaměstnanosti vedenou v tomto regionu, její rozsah, způsob a také její dopady v letech 2004 ? 2006.

Bakalářská práce se zabývá politikou zaměstnanosti v České republice. Vysvětluje základní pojmy z oblasti nezaměstnanosti a politiky zaměstnanosti. Popisuje jednotlivé nástroje, které jsou využívány v rámci aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti v celé České republice. Podrobněji se práce zaměřuje na analýzu a zhodnocení efektivity jednotlivých nástrojů využívaných úřadem práce v okrese České Budějovice. Součástí práce je také predikce vývoje nezaměstnanosti v okrese České Budějovice do budoucna.
