Chicane and Healthy Lifestyle
DUŠKOVÁ, Ivona
In my bachelor thesis I deal with connections between aggressivity, which can turn up at school and healthy lifestyle of children. In my theoretical chapter I engage in problems of school´s chicane. Its expressions reasons, developmental points etc. Otherwise I engage in personality parameter of aggressors and how should be people proceed with this children. I touch term of health, its determinants and then I write about components, which can lower some expressions of children´s aggressivity from point of view healthy lifestyle. For example, some physical education, yoga, vegetarianism etc. In the last of my theoretical chapter I engage in some Project {\clqq}School, which supports health``. There are some information about its targets, tasks etc. I engage in a new object at schools {\clqq}Health education``. My practical chapter includes some questionnaire owing to I want to trace some knowledge of students about chicane. If they meet with this problem in their life. On the other side, if some student was victim of chicane behaviour. I put some question, what are the reasons of aggressive behaviour of children, who visit some Primary school. Questionnaire was give out at Primary school in Jindřichův Hradec and at Primary school at České Budějovice. I want to find out some differences between school in České Budějovice and Jindřichův Hradec. Results were, that some students at Primary school have some knowledge about chicane. Some of these were victim of chicane. Aggressives students were not punish for their aggressive behaviour. From questionnaire we can read, that differences between school in České Budějovice a Jindřichův Hradec are not humungous.
Effect of a dummy on behaviour of Yellowhammer and Chiffchaff males in playback experiments
Kubátová, Hana ; Petrusková, Tereza (advisor) ; Veselý, Petr (referee)
A playback experiment in which a recording of vocalization is played to the tested subject and its response is observed, is a widely used tool for examining bird song and its functions. Most often only acoustic stimulus is used, but sometimes a visual stimulus is also provided in the form of a dummy. Taxidermic mounts or models made from different materials are used as the dummy. It is discussed among researchers, whether it is or is not necessary to use a dummy in experiments and how does its presence affect behavior of the tested individuals. However, only few studies directly focus on this issue and test the effect of dummies. The best way to test the effects of a dummy on passerines in playback experiments is to test the same individuals in both situations (with a dummy and without a dummy) and compare the reactions. The aim of this theses was to perform such experiments on Chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita) and Yellowhammer (Emberiza citrinella) males and to find out whether they would behave similarly in both variants of the experiment, or if their reaction would be enhanced in the presence of a dummy. Chiffchaffs reacted significantly more aggressively in the dummy experiment. The biggest difference was time spent by attacking the dummy and staying close to it. In Yellowhammers, the dummy...
Effect of a dummy on passerine behaviour in playback experiments
Kubátová, Hana ; Petrusková, Tereza (advisor) ; Linhart, Pavel (referee)
Playback experiment is a frequently used method for the scientific research of the bird song and its functions. A recording of vocalization is played in the territory of the tested male, and its responses are observed. Majority of the studies using playback recordings presents only the acoustic stimulus. Sometimes a dummy is also used to provide a visual stimulus. This review focuses on the effects of the dummy on the passerine behavior in the playback experiments. In the first part a comparison is made within the groups of experiments with the same field of interest. The main questions are: how often is a dummy used in these types of experiments, how do designs and results differ depending on its presence/absence and, if possible, how do researchers evaluate its use. Subsequently, I tried to compare experiments with and without dummy within same species, but because of the differences of the experimental designs and the differences in forms of presentation the results, which were often not comparable, it was difficult to make clear conclusions. Next part analyses the few available studies where both trials with and without a dummy were performed on the same individuals. The review shows that the dummy allows tested males to express additional behavioural patterns, which can be noted by the...
Analysis of factors affecting the physical attacks on crews of emergency medical services
KLEINOVÁ, Natálie
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the circumstances affecting physical assaults of medical emergency service (EMS) crews. Three objectives have been established. The first objective was to compare the frequency of physical and verbal assaults among the respondents. The second objective was to map out the most common causes of physical assaults of the EMS crews and the third objective was to map out the respondents' knowledge of self-defence. Three research questions were established along with these three objectives. The entire work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part, I focused on the explanation of basic concepts relating to aggression, aggressive individuals and known forms of aggressive behavior. Furthermore, I addressed chapters such as the causes of aggressive behavior, which I split into several groups. Then I also tried to describe the principle of an assault. An important chapter is the rules of communication and negotiation with an aggressive person, what should crew members pay attention to, and also what to avoid. In this chapter, I describe the differences of communication with selected types of aggressive individuals. The conclusion describes the options of pacifying aggressive persons and legal self-defence. The research part consists of the processed results of the questionnaires filled out by EMS crew members of South Bohemian and Moravian-Silesian region, 52 of them in total. The other part consists of the results of the semi-structured interviews provided to me by 4 paramedics working in Moravian-Silesian region. The aim was to choose such respondents who came across assaults, whether verbal or physical. In the case of the interviews, the only respondents were those who had experienced physical assault. The extent of practice the respondents have is ranging from a few years to tens of years. The questionnaires were filled out by drivers, paramedics and doctors, working at the EMS. The results of the questionnaires were recorded in graphs and the results of the interviews were summarized.

Sychra, Jakub ; Mudrák, Jiří (advisor) ; Janák, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Problematics of motivation and aggressivity in sports Objectives: Main target of my diploma thesis is to test selfdetermination of individuals participating in sports, their motivations and motivation factors which are connected to aggressivity, by using the questionnaire method. Methods: Datas for research were collected from quantitativ questionaire, which was a compilation of three standard questinnaires, their Czech version used in psychology. A questionnaire called Sport motivation scale - 6 was used to measure selfdetermination, a questionnaire called Percetion of Success Questionaire was used to measure the motivational orientation and a questionnaire called The Buss - Perry Aggression Questionaire was used to measure different dimensions of aggressivity. Results: Results of selfdetermination measured on sportsmen of UK FTVS prove the general hypothesis of high contribution of intrinsic motivation and very low participation of amotivation for any individuals participating in sports. Higherst values measured we got for integrated regulation, which is the most intrinsic form of external motivation. Results of motivational orientation of respondents show clearly dominance of motivational orientation toward the target rather than toward ego. The highest measured value of different forms...

Aggressive tendencies in drawings of primary school children
BOČANOVÁ, Dominika
The Bachelor thesis compares drawings of primary school age children, specifically boys from 9 to 11 years old. Theoretical part focuses on specification of primary school age, aggression, aggressivity and children's drawing. Empirical part's content is a mixed research with main goal of comparing drawings of boys with aggresive tendencies with drawings of boys without these tendencies or with much less of them. The research question asks in what attributes the drawings of both groups of boys are different. In the research The Hand Test was used, through which the research sample for drawing of a human figure was chosen. The drawing describes the differences between the groups based on stated criteria related to aggressivity in drawings. Results show that group of boys with aggressive tendencies from the research sample displays most of the given criteria to a greater extent.
Effective communication skills in nursery school
HOVJACKÁ, Miroslava
In this thesis, I studied the issue of communication among children in nursery school. In particular, I focussed on the training of children in e ffective communication methods. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, I have outlined examples of expected communication skills and I have explained various concepts and communication styles that represent a psychological threat. In the practical part, I have proposed a method of training children in effective communication techniques. Through observation, I studied the e ffects of my method on the children's physical and psychological aggressive behaviour. I monitored the influence of these techniques on the children's behaviour among themselves and on their mutual communication skills.
Acts of aggresive behaviour of children in kindergartens
PAÝROVÁ, Veronika
The purpose of the thesis is to draw attention to the possibilities of the pedagogical approach to the children behaving in aggressive manner in a kindergarten. The theoretical part focuses on the term aggression and on the definition of the acts and causes of the aggressive behaviour of children in kindergartens. On the basis of studying literature it recommends educational approachs to children behaving aggressively in kindergartens. In the practical part a research of the frequency and forms of acts of aggressive behaviour in kindergartens is executed ? it defines as well the methods mostly used by teachers in kindergartens to affect children´s aggression and compares them to the theoretical recommendations in literature.
