Design and virtual simulation of single-purpose machine
Zlámalík, Jan ; Husák, Michal (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis aim is to design a construction of single-purpose machine that will serve as a coffee machine operator. The theoretical part describes the concept of the machine design and its functions. Then the individual components are selected based on the specified requirements. The practical part describes the machine design and simulation in Siemens NX software with Mechatronics Concept Designer package. A software solution for the ESP32 microcontroller is then developed for the real machine. This software solution is ready to be controlled from a hierarchical higher-level system. The function of the machine is tested using a test application developed for this purpose.
Cement Composite for 3D Printing Technology
Lipoldová, Marie ; Hela, Rudolf (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
3D printing technology represents a fast-growing industry within many industrial sectors. This bachelor thesis is focused on possibilities of using 3D printing technology in building industry. In the theoretical part there are stated typical technologies and realizations of 3D printing in the field of construction. The thesis also includes a research which is essential for the determination of requirements for cement composites for 3D printing technologies including tests for verification of their properties. The experimental part of the bachelor thesis is focused on testing of various recipes of cementitious composites, especially on the properties of both fresh and hardened composites. Two batches were tested for the suitability of utilisation of waste PET particles.
Design of prosthetic foot using additive manufacturing technologies
Lasota, Marek ; Dzimko, Marián (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
Subject of this diploma thesis is a design of a prosthetic foot for an additive manufacturing. It is a dynamic foot made of plastic, designed for an 80 kg patient with a second level of a movement aktivity. From a few concepts is chosen one, which is then optimalized and printed with a MJF method. Functional sample is then undergoing static and cyclic tests according to ISO 10328.
Computer Vision for Monitoring of 3D Printing
Heinz, Mikuláš ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the automatic detection of errors that can occur during time-consuming 3D printing. It uses computer vision and artificial intelligence to achieve this. The main result is a system that uses Raspberry Pi and a connected camera to periodically record the printing process and sends the images to the user's computer for detection. On this computer, the image is analysed by a convolutional neural network model and information about found error is sent to the user via a SMTP protocol. The solution also includes a dataset with 385 images of 3D printing errors sorted by type.
Design of the Air conditioning unit for additive robotic fabrication
Mandáková, Adéla ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
The design of air conditioning unit is based on combination of the product itself and related architecture. The large-scale 3D printing is becoming more and more popular, that is why this thesis chose additive manufacturing robotic technology for designing the air conditioner. According to analysis the air distribution through perforations is the most convenient one for an indoor unit. An outdoor unit tends to be hidden because of inhomogeneity with the building. To obtain more variant studies for the design a generative process was applied. This method was applied also later on, because additive manufacturing is able to easily change dimension parameters and thus fulfil individual customer requests. Other advantages of robotic printing are the lattice structures that enable perforation manufacturing without waste and the possibility of using generative design methods.
Production line optimalization by using SLS aditive technology
Nakládalová, Tereza ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on additive manufacturing, especially on technology Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and the implementation of additive manufacturing into existing departments of industry, where current elements of systems are supplemented or directly replaced by new parts produced by these technologies. This thesis solves specific project of manipulation unit for manufacturing line. The main goals of the issue are analysis of current construction design and its deficiency, designing and optimalization of this unit in relation to SLS manufacturing technology, product realization and final evaluating of reached results. Part of the thesis is also design documentation.
Processing of alloy 2618 using selective laser melting technology
Dokoupil, Filip ; Hutař, Pavel (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with finding and verification of appropriate technological parameters of SLM technology for the processing of aluminum alloy 2618. In the theoretical part, an introduction to additive manufacturing of aluminum alloys and general description of processes occurring during SLM production is given. Based on general knowledge were designed different types of testing samples produced by sintering the metallurgical powder using 400 W ytterbium fiber laser, which so far in the literature for aluminum alloy 2618 were not described. As the result, the technological parameters dependence on relative density and the detailed overview of the 2618 alloy processing by SLM technology is determined.
Advanced technology in construction industry
Janás, Patrik ; Výskala, Miloslav (referee) ; Aigel, Petr (advisor)
The main goal of the diploma thesis Advanced technology in construction industry is to create analysis of possibilities in the area of advanced technologies in the construction industry. Theoretical part is focused mainly on modern system formwork from composite material, on the technology of additive production and technology virtualization. In the practical part there is formwork for the family house designed. The design is made for innovative composite formwork and also for the formwork usually used in construction industry. The thesis is focused on analysis of different costs and effectiveness of used formwork.
Design of the extruder for additive manufacturing of highly-filled thermoplastics
Kočař, Jiří ; Koiš, Jiří (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
The diploma thesis is concerned in design and realization of an experimental extruder for high-filled thermoplastic (Polybet) extrusion, which is a part of an assembly attached to the robotic arm. The result of the work is a device, that is be able to additively and continuously apply layers of Polybet. The s worm threaded extruder with modified parameters is designed with the ability to extrude the thermoplastic melt with additional fillers (sand, glass). The dimensions and weight of the extruder were minimized within limits of the robotic arm carrying capacity. The design of this thesis is an extruder which is able of large-scale additive printing of Polybet with binders (PET or PP). Another result is a mathematical model of material flow and power consumption, adjusted by results of experiments. The thesis is a research of a new part of additive production, where two types of waste material are used for the construction industry. The thesis examines the influence of fillers on power and flow rate through the extruder.
Design of mechanical, electrical construction and software equipment of autonomous cell "shaker" for Industry 4.0 testbed.
Karniš, Radim ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to design and build an autonomous cell called Shaker, which is a part of automatic bartender smart factory. The cell executes one action in the life of the product passing through a production line, namely the shaking of a beverage. All the steps in the process of design and implementation of the cell follow current trends of the fourth industrial revolution, which is the very cause of creation of the bartender. This thesis involves a complete description of the design, construction and documentation process of this device.
