The main goal is to create electric wheelchair with a charakteristic appearance, that will respect user health condition and ergonomic and technical parameters as well.

The bachelor's thesis deals with living of wheelchair users, meeting the requirements of disabled for interior and lastly the suggestion of interior intended fordisabled people. The work consists of two parts. The first one, practical, focuseson the definition of disability, the ergonomic of wheelchair users and their requirement to interior. Other areas are also covered namely organizations helpingdisabled people, living allowances and companies producing suitable furniture. In the practical part three variants of flats are designed which differ in their area. One of those models is further described with its project documentation meeting the requirements of disabled people. The outcome of this bachelor's thesis is the visualization of respective flat using corresponding scale.

Name: First aid provided by persons after spine and spinal cord injury The aim of the work: The aim of my bachelor thesis is to find out the practical possibilities of first aid in people after spine and spinal cord injury. Next task was to find out if the people tied to a wheelchair are able to provide first aid with sufficient quality. Methodology of the work: I have used three methods of data collection. The first method to identify personal history and basic theoretical knowledge in monitored group was an survey inquiry. The second method was an uncontrolled conversation to which I found additional information. The third method of data collection was observation, where I followed the practical possibilities, procedures and first aid technique in solving selected life threatening situations in individuals. Results of the work: Based on observations, I have found that all probands are able to evaluate the state of consciousness, to pass through the airways, and are able to provide first aid for strangulation by a foreign object and stopping breathing of the child within 1 year. I also found that probes with lesion height to Th7 are able to place the adult patient in a stabilized position and, if necessary, to initiate the resuscitation of an individual who is unconscious and does not breathe...

Effects of the trainning with the krankcycle on wheelchair users

Rostislav Čichoň, Ph.D. Year of Defense: 2014 This work was focused on training and strengthening of wheelchair users as a prevention of their health problems, a regulation of wrong physical and physiological mechanisms and an increase their fitness and motional skills. In this training the new instrument designed to strengthen the upper extremity and to improve the function of the cardiorespiratory system was used. This device is called krankcycle and its popularity has increased dramatically especially in the recent years. Therefore it became the main purpose of this work to determine whether completing a 12-week continuous training with krankcycle will lead to changes in monitored parameters evaluating physiological, physical and motional skills of subjects and thus identify the true value of its use. At the same time, we wanted to verify previously confirmed advantages and effectiveness of this exercise especifically for wheelchair users and reveal the krankcycle to them and the wider public as well. Nursing care about handicapped patiens in hospitál and home

Bachlor thesis "Nursing care about handicapped patients in hospital and home" deals with the care of clients / patients with transverse spinal lesions in the thoracic and lumbarspine, ie clients patients with paraplegia. The theoretical part presents basic information and description of traumatic spinal cord injury. It is in this part of the work prepared nursing patient care paraplegia. The practical part is processed on the basis of our survey, in which she was approached by a group of handicapped clients with paraplegia, a group of nursesand a group of family members caring for disabled clients with paraplegia. This investigation was aimed at obtaining the perspective of these three target groups of respondents to the demands of caring for a disabled client with paraplegia and an overview of activities in which handicapped client needs assistance.
