Australian and New Zealand Trade Policy Reaction to Asian Rise in the World Economy

The aim of my thesis is to select those Asian countries that underwent a dynamic economic increase in the period from 1970 till 2010, to characterize the Australian and New Zealand trade in the past decades, and to find how the Australian and New Zealand trade policy has reacted to the rise of the given Asian countries. The first chapter is titled Rise of Asia and its Impact on Trade in the Region. In this chapter, I focused to those Asian countries that underwent a dynamic economic increase in the period from 1970 till 2010, and to the basic Australian and New Zealand trade policy tendencies. The second chapter deals with regional Australian and New Zealand trade agreements.
Consequences of WTO accession on China´s trade policy

The Aim of this master thesis named Consequences of WTO accession on China's trade policy is to provide a complex insight into the circumstances of accession of People's Republic of China to World Trade Organization (WTO), to map China's commitments and the real changes which were made. Subsequent prediction of future development of China's foreign trade policy and China itself was based on the analysis mentioned above.
Agricultural policy of New Zealand in comparsion with EU Common Agricultural Policy

Theses deals with agricultural policy of New Zealand in comparsion with the EU Common Agricultural Policy. Subject of examination is their impact on foreign trade in agricultural goods as well as impact on the farmers themselves. On the basis of the analysis of agricultural policies in New Zealand and the European Union is subsequently conducted an evaluation of both policies. The approaches in both territories are then comprehensively compared. In concclusion is outlined the possible future development.
Position of South Korea in international trade

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze position of South Korea in international trade and to assess its current economic situation. Firstly, it characterises basic macroeconomic indicators. The second part deals with international trade of country and its trade policy at both, multilateral and also bilateral level, and the last part describes mutual trade relations between South Korea and its major trading partners - China, Japan, USA, EU.
The trade policy of France and Canada in the sector of agriculture (comparison)

This thesis deals with a summary and comparison of trade policies of selected states - France and Canada. First part is devoted to the characteristics of selected countries not only in economic terms but also in terms of agriculture. Then there is presented the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union and its influence on the agricultural policy of France. In the case of Canada there are described two integration groups - NAFTA and the FTAA and their influence on the Canadian policy in the agricultural sector. Second part focuses on the trade policy of these two countries in selected product groups. Last chapter presents a comparison of these two states, especially their trade policies in sector of agriculture.
International rice trade

The thesis deals with the development of international trade in rice and focuses mainly on the period 2006 until 2011. I concentrated on the major exporters of rice -- China, India, Thailand, Vietnam and the U.S., the major importers -- Indonesia and the EU. In the context of these countries I analyzed the effects of government trade policies on the form of international trade in rice. My goal was to combine both these elements in coherence, because they are an inseparable part. In the first chapter, I first defined types of rice, then I explained the Standard Model theory of trade and trade policies for the export and import countries. In the second chapter, I gave an overview of the production and trade in rice. In next chapter I dealt with the trade policies of the above mentioned states. In the last chapter, I finally connected the impact of trade policies on foreign trade of selected countries.
The current trade policy of India

The theme of this thesis is the current trade policy of India. India is not longer seen only as a cheap "call" center and low-cost outsourcing factory. More and more large Western companies have chosen India because of high added value and they begin to perceive it as an equal player with global ambitions. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The aim of the first chapter is to explain the concept of business policy. The second chapter deals with the basic macroeconomic indicators. The third chapter analyzes trade policy instruments used in India. The remaining chapters are devoted to foreign direct investment policy and innovation policy. You find enclosed and compiled a questionnaire which was sent to selected companies. These are companies that have experience with the Indian market.
Activities of the World trade oranization- actual problems

The main goal of this thesis is to describe and analyze activities of the World trade organization. The thesis is divided into four chapters, which are related to the WTO. The first chapter decribes the multilateral trading system. The second chapter focuses on the trade policy and its tools. The third chapter summarises activities of the GATT and WTO from its foundation to the present. The last chapter is devoted to the European Union in the WTO.

The thesis is aimed at foreign trade of the Czech republic. Its goal is to analyse Czech foreign trade from several points of view. The question of importance of foreign trade for the Czech economy and importance of services is posed and territorial and commodity structure of the foreign trade is presented. The following parts deal with relations between the foreign trade and exchange rate and consequences of adopting common commercial policy of the EU. The end is focused on the common European currency and the problem of participation of the Czech republic in the Euro-zone including evaluation, how the Czech republic fulfils the Maastricht criteria

The Russian market represents big opportunities for Czech exporters in the near and distant future. Czech companies have gained a lot of comparative advantages in the past periode: language simillarities, trade connections, cooperation of producing companies, good knowledge of local regional specifities etc. There are large scale of opportunities in traditional and new industry, glass and wooden industry, petrol and gas companies. It is necessary to know specific conditions and risks of the Russian market. To be competitive it requests not only to export but to account with capital participation. Objectives and Hypothesis of the dissertation: Basic goals: Analysis of the business climate in Russia as the result of the transformation process from centrally directed to market system and democracy. Evaluation of changes in the competitive position of Czech exporters and investors on Russian market. There are various measures and tools of the improvement of the competitiveness of Czech exports on the Russian market. As the member of the EU the Czech republic participates on all trade agreements valid in the trade relations between EU and Russia, first of all it is Partnership and Cooperation Agreement inclusive MFN regime (the Most Favoured Nation Clause). Czech exporters have a lot of strong points in the return to Russian market. There are also certain weaknesses, a lot of opportunities but also threatens. The Czech institutions which provide effective and complex credit and insurance support for Czech exporters are: Czech Export Bank and Export Guarantee and Insurance Company.
