The proposal of lean production implementation in a industrial enterprise
Nachtmann, Pavel ; Bartošek, Vladimír (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This master´s thesis describes the production process in Japanese enterprise Daikin Device Czech Republic s.r.o. with emphasis on the production schedule, equipment and manufacturing system with elements of lean production. According to the production process analysis at the given production line a new solution of the production process has been suggested to increase production efficiency. This conception has been implemented and compared to the production process before, as well as to the assumed production process after increasing the efficiency.
Modern methods of quality management
Slabyhoudek, Jiří ; Mukhametzianova, Leisan (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with modern methods of quality control management and its benefits for businesses. It consists of three parts - the first part of this work is focused on general information of methods of quality control. It describes the most important norms, there is also explained the concept of quality management and listed seven basic tools for quality improvement. The second part is devoted to detailed description of three selected modern methods of quality management, namely 5S, Just In Time (JIT) and PPAP. In this section, each method is described in detail. You will find its main purpose, history and the benefits it provides. The third part deals with a brief summary of the previous three methods, the main advantages and disadvantages of each method and are described in this part of the scope with synoptic chart.

Průdek, Robert ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with design jaws for gripper from SCHUNK, jaws were made for four given models. Created simulation shifts model from one side to another in virtual twin od FANUC cell. Procedure, which was followed to create program for robot is described here.
The production process optimizing using methods of industrial engineering
Schnederle, Petr ; Vychroň, Aleš (referee) ; Stejskal, Petr (advisor)
The thesis developed in the field of study Electrical Manufacturing and Management is aimed at optimizing and streamlining of production plastics vacuum forming plastics technology rolled in a particular company. The theoretical part focused on the description of the principles of industrial engineering and survey methods that are fundamentals of lean manufacturing or the Toyota production system. The larger part is devoted to methods of 5S and SMED. The practical part of the optimization steps are designed to ensure increased production, balanced production and increase quality, which are based primarily on methods of 5S and SMED. To complement the work given the changes in production processes resulting from other methods of industrial engineering. Several proposals have been practically applied in the production are assessed and their benefits.
Simplifying processes of company KSK Kurim
Sekerová, Tereza ; Veselý, Tomáš (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with business process simplification. Basic terms like business or process are defined in the theoretical part of the thesis as well as selected methods of business management such as TPS, KAIZEN, 5S, Six Sigma, etc. The principal concept for this work is described in the second chapter. It’s very important to simplify things and work, which means to identify the essential parts and eliminate the rest (waste). The practical part describes company Kuličkové šrouby Kuřim, a.s. (KSK) and the study of individual processes and impacts upon them. Further on, several process simplifications from various parts of the company are presented. Each individual case is described and analysed.
Secure and Efficient State Preservation in Ethereum-Based Smart Contract Platforms
Potenciálna nadväzujúca práca zahŕňa implementáciu klienta schopného paralelného spracovávania transakcií do produkčného riešenia, ktoré rozšíri aktuálne možnosti manažmentu stavu v Ethereu.
Evaluation of ontogenetic development of the mandible using geometric morphometric methods
Kiebelová, Alena ; Velemínská, Jana (advisor) ; Brůžek, Jaroslav (referee)
During ontogeny there are a lot of changes in the entire human skeleton. This thesis deals with shape changes in the mandible, which are caused by genetic, hormonal, as well as mechanical factors. The most important mechanical factors influencing the shape of mandible are development of deciduous and permanent dentition and also development of masticatory muscles. 34 children mandibles of known age and 14 adult mandibles were analysed and compared for this thesis. Data were obtained by scanning coordinates of 36 landmarks using Microscribe G2X, and then were processed by software PAST and Morphologika2 using multivariate statistics (PCA, MANOVA). Geometric morphometrics is used for a detailed analysis of shape changes of the mandible. There is no difference between dental and chronological age. In conclusion, lower jaw narrows during growth, the body extends more in the region of third molars and the ramus grows mainly in the region of condylar process. Chin prominence also occurs during ontogeny. In the group of adult mandibles the variability is caused by coronoid process height and the body width. The hypothesis, that age groups are significantly different from each other, and therefore due to tooth mineralization there are marked shape changes, is confirmed.
Reconstruction of the face using skull:analysis of CT images of the head of adult Czech population
Drgáčová, Anna ; Velemínská, Jana (advisor) ; Brůžek, Jaroslav (referee)
AJ Knowledge of the soft facial tissues is the basis of any craniofacial reconstruction. It is of a great importance mainly for forensic practice, but it plays an important role in other fields, for example aesthetic surgery. Defining the thickness of facial tissues for different sexes, age and ethnic groups is an important aspect of forensic anthropology. The thesis specialises in finding out the thickness of soft facial tissues in modern czech population, it takes into consideration the sex, age and assymetry. The main source of information are the CT scans of the heads of 46 adult women and 56 adult men of czech nationality ranging between ages 21 to 83. 80 landmarks are defined in each scan, therefore 40 linear measurements between corresponding points have been evaluated. Data were analysed using the PCA, Hotelling test, linear discrimination analysis, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, MANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis test and Wilcoxon paired test. Retrieved thicknesses of soft tissues will serve as the standards for the current czech population. Sexual dimorphism has been proven regarding the whole face, as well as both upper and lower parts of the face. The success of classification on the upper part of the face decresases significantly. Aging has been proven to have strong effect on the thickness of soft...
