Revitalization of the Antonín Slavíček housing estate in Svitavy

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is the design and revitalization of the Antonína Slavíčka housing estate in Svitavy. It is mainly a comparison of 3 variants of the solution. Maximization of parking spaces in zone 30, a more suitable solution for parking in zone 30 and a design using a residential zone. The subject is the extension of existing sidewalks and the design of new ones, the reconstruction and creation of new local roads, the reconstruction of the surfaces of existing stands and the proposal to increase the number of new ones, the installation of container stands for mixed and sorted waste.

The proposal is to increase and improve the usability of cultural and civic public space. This will be achieved by changing the architextural arrangment of the reorganization of transport, which involves the partial diversion and relocation od parking spaces.

Motivation of seventh grade students for physical activities in Svitavy

The bachelor's thesis deals with the motivation for physical activities of children of older school age. In the theoretical part, basic concepts such as motivation, physical activity, physical fitness and older school age are defined. Furthermore, the work divides motivation into internal and external. And also introduces the issue of children's motivation for physical activities. It defines the concept of need, which is closely related to motivation, and the concept of performance motivation. Subsequently, it presents the definition of movement and the importance of physical activities, from a social point of view and also from the point of view of health prevention. Last but not least, the work is also focused on the characteristics of the city of Svitavy and the possibilities of organized physical activities that the city offers. Briefly presents selected schools of Svitavy and their relationship to physical activities. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey using the partially standardized MPAM-R questionnaire, which examines the strength of motivation and the strength of motives that stimulate to start physical activity. The Municipal Library in Svitavy

The main theme of this bachelor thesis is Municipal Library in Svitavy (http://www.booksy.cz/). It describes both its historical development and its present agenda and activities. In the first part the author writes about history of the city Svitavy and historical development of librarianship in Svitavy with emphasis on founding of the Multifunctional Education, Community and Culture Centre. In the second, main part of the thesis are described today's services of Municipal Library in Svitavy in detail. The author focuses on culture and educational doings, which are set up by the library. In short, the author also implies the future of the library. In the last part are evaluations of surveys among adults and children, who visit the library. The author asked, whether they like Municipal Library in Svitavy and its services and whether they have any suggestions to make their library better place.

This bachelor thesis describes the design of nature trails. However, as we donť know. The trail is uncharacteristically focused on the landscape, its use and improvement. Boards located on the trail are mainly focused on the first stage of primary school. Other visitors will also find interesting information and guidance here. It puts emphasis on environmental education of children and youth. Nowadays, this education is very important. On the trail, there is located 9 information boards. The boards are devoted mainly to the elements in the landscape, cultural artifacts and also the history of the city Svitavy and the village Hradec nad Svitavou.

Assessing the impact of grant projects for the management and development of the selected municipality

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the impact of the grant projects in years 2004 to 2013 on the socio-economic development of selected municipalities. It was selected Svitavy, a town situated in the Pardubice Region. The town has a population of 17000 and is located less than 75 km from Pardubice. The thesis is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. Theoretical part contains the definition of town, a description of the financing of units of local government, the definition of individual programming periods in the European Union, funds and programs, on which it can draw, and a short description of the theory of regional development. Second, practical part of the work focuses on two main things. Firstly, description, evaluation of selected grant projects, including the definition of their funding, and secondly, their impact on the socio-economic development of the municipality. The result of the thesis is to determine the main areas of the grant projects, and evaluation of projects, not only economically, but also socially, based on evaluation of the questionnaire.
