Jews and the State of Izrael in the Theology of the American Evangelikalism

My diploma thesis on the topic of Jews and the State of Israel in the theology of American evangelicalism describes the role of the people of Israel in the history of salvation as revealed and developed by evangelicals in Europe (mainly England) and then mainly in the USA following the early church, pietists and puritans. Based on this theology, God did not finish with the Jews, the church did not replace the Jews in the role of God's Chosen People, as it spread and still spreads the so-called replacement theology, but on the contrary, evangelicals understood the irreplaceable role of the Jews in God's plan of salvation. They sow the opinion that for the second coming of Jesus Christ on earth, this time in the role of judge, general and king, in contrast to His first coming, which was a sign of the redemption of humanity from sin, it is a necessary condition that the Jews, the people of Israel, are be back in The Promised Land. From the first initiative, which came from the pietists (16th century), to the founding of the State of Israel (5/14/1948), plus minus five hundred years of work have passed. This thesis deals with relations of the European Union and Israel at present. First, it defines the basic historical events and contracts that have formed the current relationships and reveals the mutual challenges of these economics. It also analyzes Israel’s current economic situation and the challenges which Israel is facing to. Consequently, it analyzes and clarifies the European Union’s external trade with Israel and subsequently between Israel and selected trading partners. The total share of Israeli trade is compared among these economies so as export and import development. Last but not least, the predictions of the development of commercial relations of selected actors with Israel are discussed.

International Legal Issues Related to the Status of the State of Israel Abstract The emergence and continued existence of the State of Israel, which is completely surrounded by Arab neighbors, may be one of the main causes of the current conflict that began in this part of the region more than seventy years ago. At the same time, the creation of the State of Israel constitutes a certain exception to international law because it was linked to a non-legally binding resolution of a body of an international organization of a universal nature, in particular to the UN General Assembly Resolution 181 (II) of 1947. This resolution foresaw the establishment of both a Jewish and an Arab state in part of the territory of the former Ottoman Empire, which was then administered by Great Britain as a mandate territory. While the state of Israel declared its independence on 14 May 1948, the Arab people of the mandate rejected this resolution, and their right to self-determination was not pursued until many decades later. The Role of Religious Law in the Legal system of the State of Israel The Agunah

The present M.A. thesis deals with the role of Jewish religious law in the legal system of the State of Israel. The aim of this work is to describe unique nature of Israeli legal system due to the incorporation of Jewish religious law. The thesis focuses at the marital and divorce law. This legal branch was the most influenced by Jewish religious. The case of agunot, litteraly chained women, was chosen as an example of the application of Jewish religious law in the legal system of a modern country. Agunah is a woman who is not permitted to remarry because she has not been given a divorce list nor she is widowed. The problem of agunot is rather ancient and Jewish scholars have tried to find a solution for many centuries. However, nowadays when society calls for an equality between genders and for standard human rights, this issue is even more pressing than ever before. Hardly is a woman accorded right to human dignity if her husband can keep her at his own mercy. At the absence of systemic legal tool, the whole community, including the Orthodox rabbis, should be willing to exert moral pressure such as banning lenient men from synagogue offices and honors to help women to be released from their marriage. The role of Hamas in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

The bachelor thesis deals with the theory of the clash of civilizations especially among Jewish and Islamic cultures, then it tackles the current security issue of terrorism. Theoretical and methodological basis is applied to the issue of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, especially on the Palestinian organization Hamas, which since the late 80s of the 20th century, operates on the territory of the Gaza Strip. This work comprehensively explains the development, activities and the style of attacks perpetrated by Hamas. The main goal of this thesis is to clarify that Hamas embodies one of the obstacles which prevent the Middle East from the lasting peace.
