Moje diplomová práce na téma Židé a Stát Izrael v teologii amerického evangelikalismu popisuje roli lidu Izraele v dějinách spásy tak, jak ji v návaznosti na prvotní církev, pietisty a puritány odhalili a rozpracovali evangelikálové v Evropě (Anglii především) a poté hlavně v USA. Na základě této teologie Bůh s židy neskončil, církev nenahradila židy roli Božího vyvoleného lidu, jak šířila a stále šíří tzv. teologie náhrady, ale naopak, evangelikálové pochopili nezastupitelnou roli židů v Božím plánu spasení. Pochopili, že pro druhý příchod Ježíše Krista na zemi, tentokrát v roli soudce, vojevůdce a krále, na rozdíl od Jeho prvního příchodu, který byl ve znamení vykupitele lidstva od hříchu, je nutnou podmínkou, aby židé, lid Izrael, byl zpět v Zaslíbené zemi. Hnutí pietistů se datuje od 16. století, Stát Izrael byl založen 14. 5. 1948. To je plus mínus pět se let práce. Nechci říct, že vznik Státu Izrael je výsledkem činnosti evangelikálů. To v žádném případě. Je to Boží plán, ke kterému evangelikálové nemalou měrou přispěli. Dalším významným důsledkem poznání evangelikálů, že židé zůstávají Božím Vyvoleným lidem, je postupná změna chování protestantských křesťanů k židům v průběhu těchto pěti set let. Změna nenastala najednou, stereotypy přístupu k židům byly v Evropě hluboce zakořeněny, ale... My diploma thesis on the topic of Jews and the State of Israel in the theology of American evangelicalism describes the role of the people of Israel in the history of salvation as revealed and developed by evangelicals in Europe (mainly England) and then mainly in the USA following the early church, pietists and puritans. Based on this theology, God did not finish with the Jews, the church did not replace the Jews in the role of God's chosen people, as it spread and still spreads the so-called replacement theology, but on the contrary, evangelicals understood the irreplaceable role of the Jews in God's plan of salvation. They understood that for the second coming of Jesus Christ on earth, this time in the role of judge, military leader and king, in contrast to His first coming, which was in the sign of the redeemer of mankind from sin, it is a necessary condition that the Jews, the people of Israel, be back in the Promised country. The pietist movement dates back to the 16th century, the State of Israel was founded on May 14, 1948. That's plus or minus five years of work.
