Construction technology project for a hotel in Giant Mountains

This diploma thesis solves processing of documents for realization of hotel construction in Špindlerův Mlýn. The work contains technical report, coordination situation, time and financial plan of construction, construction technology study, project of construction site equipment, design of construction machinery, plan of material resources, technological regulation for truss realization, plumbing and roofing, control and testing plan protection of health at work, playground project.
Hotel Špindlerův Mlýn

The subject of the diploma thesis is the project documentation developed at the construction stage for a new hotel with restaurant and wellness. The hotel is located in Špindlerův Mlýn and is designed as a stand-alone hotel. The hotel has two floors above ground, an attic and a basement. The floor plan of the hotel is designed in the shape of a cross with a penetrating rectangular annex over the basement and the first above-ground floor. The outbuilding is covered with a flat vegetated roof, and the main, highest mass is covered with a saddle-shaped and semi-hip-shaped sloping roof with a 40° slope of the roof plane. The layout of the hotel includes a collective garage and a wellness area in the basement, while the first floor has a restaurant, a congress room and an accommodation area with nine hotel rooms, two of which are wheelchair accessible. On the second floor above ground level and the attic there is only an accommodation area with two gyms, each of these two floors has nineteen hotel rooms. In total, the hotel offers accommodation for seventy-five people. Structurally, it is a building based on a foundation slab, the load-bearing vertical structures are a combination of reinforced concrete and masonry ground hollow bricks, the ceiling structures are made of reinforced concrete ceilings and the roof structure is made of a wooden purlin truss. The entire object is insulated with an insulation system.

Libor Flemr, Ph.D. ABSTRACT This study focuses on the town of Spindleruv Mlyn, which is currently the largest, highest- rated, but also the most expensive ski resort in the Czech Republic and holds TOP ski resort, which in recent years as the only winter resort tried to host the World Cup in Alpine skiing women, in the disciplines of slalom and giant slalom women. Spindleruv Mlyn organized racing elite women's series for the first time in December 2005 and again in January 2008. Premiere World Cup Giant was initially held back in 2003, but then defeated the plans of the organizers of the lack of snow. A success for the next SP in Spindleruv Mlyn took place in March 2011. Objective: The aim of this study is to assess the benefits for town of Spindleruv Mlyn (hence the whole county, region and Czech Republic) may have held such events as the World Cup in Alpine Skiing. Method: The calculation method was used a questionnaire comprising mainly by promoting the values that the organization of the event took place, but the city at the cost involved only a small fraction, so the effects are huge. Sustainable tourism and resident management in the central part of KRNAP

The constantly growing desire for discovering new landscapes, cultures, education and economic profit exerts pressure on the environmental and social surroundings that are stronger in the protected areas (PA). State and private spheres make an effort to regulate the flow of visitors through sustainable management, to which the promotion and coordination of all stakeholders of tourism is the main aim. Visitor monitoring is an essential management tool in PA and can lead to conflict resolution and reduction of the impact on nature and society. Charles University in Prague was the first institution in the Czech Republic to show concern through methodical regular visitor surveys in the PA. This work pursues and focused on the opinions of people in Krkonose tourist resort Spindleruv Mlyn (SM) in 1999, 2004 and 2009. In 2009, respondents in SM noticed the build- up of development as the most frequent ecological problem, which causes changes in social and economic life of the village as well as changes in the character of the landscape. Analysis of tourism in selected region

This thesis analyzes the development of tourism in Spindleruv Mlyn. The paper includes indicators that are analyzed through time series methods as well as evaluated predictions for tourism development. The main indicators include the amounts of visitors to Spindleruv Mlyn between the years 2004 to 2014, whereby a prognosis for the future (year 2015) is then constructed on the basis of adaptive models. Elemental characteristics are used in order to determine the basic tendencies in the development of indicators. These are calculated in the spreadsheet program Microsoft Excel 2007 and in the program Statistics 1.0. The paper concludes with a summary of the most important findings on the subject of the development of tourism in Spindleruv Mlyn.

This thesis deals with the development of land in the administrative area of Špindlerův Mlýn. The author will assess developmental changes in land use, changes in its structure and the effect of those changes on the landscape. These changes will be monitored in 1953, 1997 and 2012, using aerial photographs and prepared structure of land use in ArcGIS. It will also be used period images of the monitored area and own photographs from the present.
Present-day tourism in Krkonoše with focus on cadastre unit of Špindlerův Mlýn (charting of current service supplies)

Bachelor thesis elaborates charting of tourism in specified area of Krkonoše with more focus on cadastre unit of Špindlerův Mlýn. The introduction defines aims of work, followed by theoretical solutions and methology with suppositions. Furthermore it deals with physical-geographical and socio-geographical territory characteristics. In the following practical part tackles tourismus development in Špindlerův Mlýn regarding catering and accomodation establishment, visit rate according to nationalities and provided service survey. Furthermore it deals with analysis of tourist trade potential in a particular Krkonoše region resolving the natural, cultural and implementary prerequisites of particular communities. In conclusion there are the practical part evaluation, hypothesis verification and work aims recapitulation. A list of tables, pictures, diagrams, maps and abbreviations also is a part of the thesis, with a list of applied literature and the appendix part.
