Military museum Kraliky - planning of implementation and management of construction

This thesis is aimed at the Military Museum in Kraliky. This construction made on the basis of the initial design of the designer. For this reason, it was necessary to deal with during the processing work some technical problems, transport of materials to the construction site or purely site layout itself. The whole area of the museum consists of several buildings. The largest and main building of the exposition hall with steel supporting structures, then there is the Administration building, which in turn is a brick workshop that has as Exp hall steel structure. There is also a replica of the First Republic Military cottage, which has a wooden frame and demonstration area, where there will be live demonstrations of military equipment.
Dog Shelter with Veterinary Facilities

The aim of this diploma thesis is the design of this closed area of the shelter dogs with veterinary facilities and administration shelter in a specific location in the outskirts of Bystřice pod Hostýnem, street Meziříčská. It is a building amenities. In addition to the project itself is part of the job specialization - health and technical installations and connections. The work was developed in response to a bachelor thesis. The intention is to create a functional device with everyday hour, which will be provided by 7 employees. Given that the region is not represented such a device, its implementation will meet the requirements and demands of citizens of the town but also surrounding communities. The capacity of the shelter is designed based on the client's requirements with the possibility of placing domestic animals in max. Of 50 dogs, 50 cats and 16 small animals. Unless capacity is full, the device can be used as an animal hotel. In its own proposal, the emphasis was on the overall architectural character and design solutions. A special container: Semi-mobile shelter

This bachelor thesis is focused on mobile shelters of the container type. The first part deals with the research of the existing industrial solutions. In the next part, there are several conceptual proposals, especially for stalls, cultural or exhibition shelters. All types of shelters are based on ISO containers, especially the ISO 1 series containers.
Utilization shielding in emergencies

The bachelor work deals with protection buildings for the civilian population. The topic is using protection buildings during crisis situations. The main goal is a comparison of shelters based on theirs parameters, which affect number of survivors. Partial goals are creation shelter database in the Czech Republic and evaluation protection buildings´s preparation. The objectives are fulfiled with SWOT analysis, creation of ideal shelter and processing of evaluation.

TITLE: The Psychological Aspects of the Life in a Shelter AUTHOR: PhDr. Roman Čepelák DEPARTMENT: Katedra psychologie SUPERVISOR: Doc. PhDr. Miloš Kučera, CSc. ABSTRACT: The master thesis explores, by analytic way, the life of clients in shelter for families with children. The thesis describes the specific shelter home in Prague - Horní Pocernice and observes its specifics in a context of other shelters. It maps the target group of users, who are mostly clients from Roma population. The thesis aims at clients' motives to live in a shelter, their coping with shelter norms and their adjustment of shelter rules to clients' own needs. It notices individual behaviors in a community of clients, describing interactions with social workers and between each other. The specific chapter is devoted to children as the youngest users of a shelter, their coping with the environment and the possibilities shelter home offers to them. The last chapter implies a certain similarity in shelter clients thinking with thinking of people living in an oral culture. The thesis disputes declared purpose of shelter home(s) as training of their own home living, since their repetitive "coming home" returns to shelter(s) witness another motives for shelter life as well. Phenomenon of homelessness in context of welfare services offer in Benešov city.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to familiarize with offer of welfare services for homeless people in Benešov City on the basis of theoretical knowledge and information about phenomenon of homelessness. Also to show the influence of social services offer on the life of homeless person, to call attention to other connections and importance of a form of social service help in a role of low-cost daily centre, doss-houses and field services for people without shelter. For research part of the thesis was chosen a qualitative research for its possibilities to examine some specific broadly defined phenomenon and to bring sufficient amount of information about it. Case study method was used. Results of the research part are summarized in the end. The effect of use of social services offer for homeless people in Benešov city on the quality of their lives is exposed. Discovered conclusions point out to importance of help and support which is offered through social services.
Thermal comfort of passengers at public transport stops

This diploma thesis focuses on the evaluation of the thermal comfort of passengers at public transport stops, in the shelters of public transport, which are an integral part of urban technical equipment. This topic is gaining in importance especially with regard to climate change and related with increasing frequency of extreme weather events. First part of the diploma thesis is the theoretical part, dealing with public transport shelters from various theoretical points of view. The practical part of the diploma theses deals with experimental measurements of selected physical quantities in the interior and exterior of eleven public transport shelters in the city of Brno, during the six months of 2020 (cold and warm periods). The facts found by experimental measurements for individual shelters are compared and evaluated, with the final selection of the optimal model of the technical solution of the shelter.
Architecture of the extreme

The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a mountain building with a function of a shelter for tourists and a field workplace for workers of state forests of TANAP (Tatra National Park). With its size and function, the proposed building gently supports the development of this protected area of the Belianske Tatras. The building is designed in the constantly changing external conditions of the mountain environment (change of seasons, low temperatures, strong wind ..) so that the indoor environment is as stable and comfortable as possible. The aim is to create a building with an optimal indoor climate, minimal energy requirements and high spatial quality. To achieve these goals, it is necessary to use appropriate materials and an efficient technical system.
Hevlín – place in the landscape

The aim of the thesis is to create a landscape that supports water retention and helps the river Dyje to create a branched, meandering watercourse. The design also deals with the permeability of the territory and the design of wooden objects that respond in function and shape to the created landscape.
Roof Structure of Bus Station in Letohrad

This bachelor's thesis scrutinizes a proposal and considerations of steel bus shelter located at the Letohrad’s main bus station. The dimensions of the plan drawing are 6,4 m by 66 m while the height is approximately 4,5 m. The structure is to roof an island platform. The load-carying structure consists of a main frame of a Y shape. Roofing is supported by purlin roof. Structure’s spatial rigidity is addressed by implementing longitudinal and sway bracing. Detailed structural design is included in the thesis as well as engineering report and design drawings.
