Fault Injection for Web-Services
Žouželka, Martin ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This document is especially aimed at web services technologies and testing them using fault injection methods. The work deals with Service-Oriented Architecture, used as a standard for web service implementation, and with software testing in general. Practical part of the project includes the design and realization of a tool, which is able to test the most common types of web services according to setup criteria. To demonstrate its functionality, some of the sample and public web services were tested.
Implementation of a web application utilizing web services
Holický, Tomáš ; Brožek, Jiří (advisor) ; Tereza, Tereza (referee)
This master's thesis deals with difficulties of web application development utilizing web services. The theoretical part describes the essence of service oriented architecture and explains the options of integration using web services. The practical part deals with analysis, design and subsequent implementation of web application. Specifically, the implementation of application for task manager, which is divided into two parts. The server side of application exposes REST services and client side that consumes.

Analysis of enterprise content management in SSČS a.s. and its optimization design
Lokaj, Lukáš ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Procházka, Rudolf (referee)
This thesis focuses on design of document exchange solution used between Stavební spořitelna České spořitelny a.s. (SSČS) and its external sales network, which is outdated and doesn't meet the needs of SSČS or sales network. The thesis also includes the identification of suitable basic principles used in the service-oriented architecture (SOA) concept and their application in design solutions. The aim of the thesis is a conceptual solution design, based on the principles of SOA and the following technological design of changes in existing environment, so that on this basis could be created a functional and technical specification for suppliers of these applications. Stated objective is achieved through an initial analysis of the current environment, which identifies the possibilities of existing applications, and identifies weaknesses in the process that will be changed in the new solution. The analysis covers as the environment of external sales network as the related environment in SSČS, which together figure in the process of documentation exchange. As the results of the analysis and based on theoretical knowledge and consultation with experts in the field of SOA is then formulated a proposed solution at the conceptual level, which is further elaborated in the description of the proposed changes in individual components of the new solution. The outputs of this thesis will serve SSČS both in terms of describing the existing and the new environment, and as an input for the specifications of the proposed amendments to the supplier concerned applications. Structure of the thesis consists of introduction, devoted to the characterization of SSČS and providing an initial framework for solved domain. This is followed by a description and the analysis of external sales network, particularly in terms of application equipment and communication flows, followed by a description of the environment in SSČS, which contains the components processing sent documents. Next part of thesis is devoted to the formulation of the basic concepts of SOA and selection of appropriate principles that are followed in the subsequent section to draft the solution itself, first at the conceptual level, followed by a detailed description of the necessary changes. Everything is then evaluated in the final part.
Using of SAP System in Business Services Composition
Simetinger, František ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Samek, Martin (referee)
This thesis is focused on service in frame of enterprise computing and composition of these services. This brings a number of issues in large spectra of perspectives and this thesis has the ambition these issues resolve. The goal of this thesis is considering the principles application of service oriented architecure and standard methodologies in composition of internally managed by process complex business service, which composes services in SAP information system and which use resources of IBM WebSphere Process Server and IBM WebSphere ESB Server. The basic presumption to goal achieve is precise identification and definition of service. Also important is the notion of composition. So what are especially logical links between services. Based on this service identification it is going to be clarified the options of its composition and it is going to be specified the importance of service definition and composition in enterprise computing area. After defining the services in computing context the thesis is going to be focused on composite business services. Composite business services are going to be analyzed from three perspectives: Engineering, Management and Governance. The benefit of thesis is answer to question if it is possible in specific environment with specific conditions to compose business services, which respect the criterions of three perspectives: Engineering, Management and Governance. If the composition of those business services will respect generally respected standards and recommendations in a defined environment. Thesis in its structure passes from general knowledge about services to knowledge about services in frame of enterprise computing. This knowledge is based on analysis and recommendations of methodologies which are focused on service oriented IT management. Knowledge of this analysis are became basis for definition of three perspectives. Principles defined in three perspectives are going to be verified in real experiment.
Problems of Internal Communication in Project Management
Hlinková, Judita ; Chocholatý, Drahomír (advisor) ; Paška, Pavel (referee)
The primary influence on project results is human effort, therefore the most essential tool for effort management and focus is communication. Communication in Project Management is characterized by its complexity however it may be analysed from two perspectives; communication tools and human factor. The main objective of this work is to identify problematic areas of internal communication in Project Management and the design of corrective measures that will mitigate or eliminate these problems. This work is based on research in a dynamic environment and comprehensive project program, which is an excellent example and material for definition of such areas. The theoretical section lists the topics of project management and communication; each topic affects specific features that are part of the program or directly related (SOA, agile management, conflict parties business, ICT, etc.). The practical part acquaints readers with the concept of sociological research and defines a hypotheses and set of methods that were used in this research. Further, it contains a description of the program in which research was undertaken and the results of such analysis with recommendations on what measurements should be implemented to improve communication and its effectiveness.
Comparison Tools for the development of SOA-ready Business Services
Simetinger, František ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Selčan, Vladimír (referee)
Today's business informatics solves many problems issues that complicate the management, planning and financial efficiency. Modern approaches and technologies offer several ways to deal with these problems. But it is not always possible at first glance identify the correct way, because it usually solve only partial problems in modern business informatics appear. One of the most sophisticated approaches that solve these problems is service oriented architecture. Service oriented architecture is enabled to effectively improve the business agility, is focused on supporting business goals and is enabled to integrate business applications transparently according to enterprise requirements. But implementation of services oriented architecture principles in business computing isn't trivial procedure. The service oriented architecture brings a lot of changes, for instance into business informatics management. One of the most important issues is alone services development, which are the essence of the service oriented architecture. This thesis is aimed at maintain of service oriented architecture principles during development of business services in development tools, which are intended for development of these services.
Standardization of service orchestration
Sova, Jiří ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Vašíček, Petr (referee)
This thesis is focused on comparison of common standards used for service orchestration. Orchestration is one of main terms in service oriented architecture, which is a considerable trend in information systems development. This paper is divided into four main parts. The first chapter describes services as a part of current information systems. Definition of service oriented architecture is another subject, where service is a main component for system development and integration. Description of principles of service oriented architecture, that are describing its basis, is the last part of this chapter. The next chapter belongs to coordination of service cooperation, where we can find two basic approaches -- orchestration and choreography. The intention of this chapter is to create theoretical definition of both terms and to compare them. The third part is focused on orchestration methods standardization, where the main standard is BPEL. The history and reasons of creation are mentioned in the beginning, while next section concerns principles of BPEL. Following part describes the version of BPEL called BPEL4WS. Specification of its structure is a main primer for comparison with the latest version named WS-BPEL. The major changes are mentioned in this section. The last chapter is devoted to practical comparison of standards mentioned above. At first, there is created a sample process, based on real situation. The process contains the most important parts of BPEL language. Afterwards, the process is divided into parts, where each of them represents one activity. During description of these parts there is made the above mentioned comparison. The end of the practical part contains main conclusions that were found in this chapter.
