Implementation of career counseling at secondary vocational schools and the Labor Office in the Karlovy Vary region

Rigorous work on the topic of Implementation of career counseling at secondary vocational schools and the Labor Office in the Karlovy Vary region deals in the research part with ontogenetic aspects in the period of adolescence in the context of choosing a profession. The personality of the adolescent individual is taken into account, while social-psychological factors in the process of transitioning to the labor market are included. One of the chapters deals with career concepts. Subsequently, options for career counseling at the level of secondary vocational schools and the Labor Office of the Czech Republic are addressed. In the empirical part of the work, the set research goals are fulfilled. The fulfillment of the set goals consists in the verification of cooperation in career counseling at secondary vocational schools and the Labor Office in the Karlovy Vary Region. In this context, the actual implementation of career counseling at individual levels and the use of these services by pupils is verified. Quality Management of secondary vocational education on the territory of the capital city of Prague

This diploma thesis deals with the issues related to the quality management system in the field of secondary education, specifically in relation to the provision of education with an apprenticeship certificate. The quality management system is mostly associated with the private sector as a production process. However, the quality of services is as important as the quality of products. Quality management has also been known to the public sector for several years. Also state administration organizations, local authorities, universities, etc. deal with the quality management system. Secondary schools should certainly not be excluded from this sphere, as it is a necessary part of the school education system. The quality of the education provided, its course and results should undoubtedly be systematically managed. The first part of the thesis contains the definition of basic concepts focused on education and the school education system, defining quality, quality management methods (ISO, TQM, EFQM, CAF) and the principles of quality management in education. Support options for vocational education

The bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of how to support vocational education, expecially its technical branches.The aim is to find out what kind of support is provided to students at secondary vocational schools and apprentice schools by businesses, organizations and other support programs so that the graduates could find employment after graduation in their field. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and pracitcal (i.e. research) parts. The theoretical part describes the individual strategic documents that deal with the support of the vocational education, which nowadays suffers from the lack of students. The practical part determines a set of research questions and includes the research that was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey between teachers of vocational schools and interviews with vocational school students. The results were subsequently evaluated and conclusions were drawn to identify which possibilities of support are used and how they are accepted by the students alone.

Research of Value Orientation in Students of Secondary School and High School, Purpose the Intervention Program.

Thesis deals with the value orientation of students in secondary schools and secondary vocational schools. The aim is to map their value system and then based on the results of research to design an intervention program to promote internalization of values desired. The theoretical part includes a systematic search of the available literature values and their hierarchy, the age period of adolescence, the ways and possibilities of educating students given age period and the role of schools in shaping values and their internalization. The main method of the practical part of the work is own questionnaire assessing the value orientation of students in selected secondary schools and secondary vocational schools. On the basis of the results was designed educational intervention program. Results are shown for better clarity in written and graphical form. The program is described in detail. There are given a specific samples teaching unit on the topic for the development of desired values of the students. The program could become educational material for teachers of health education and other relatives.
