The Monte Carlo Stochastic Method for Price Simulation
MÜLLEROVÁ, Sindy
This bachelor thesis focuses on predicting gold prices using the Monte Carlo model and utilizes data obtained from Yahoo Finance. The data used for the simulation covers the period from 2000 to 2023. Based on this data, values for the next 3 years are simulated. The prediction model provides optimistic, neutral, and pessimistic scenarios of future price development, represented by the upper quartile, median, and lower quartile. The findings show that in the optimistic scenario (upper quartile), gold prices continue to rise, indicating a consistently strong market trend. In contrast, the pessimistic scenario (lower quartile) indicates only a slight decline in prices, suggesting price stability. The neutral scenario (median) shows a slightly rising trend, ensuring that the value of the initial investment is preserved. The analysis carried out in this paper assesses the profitability of gold investment mainly due to the positive and stable price trend and offers valuable insights for investment decision-making.

Grepl, Radovan ; Urbanovský, Jan (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
The main content of this master´s thesis is the analysis of the current state and the proposal an internal supply of assembly lines in the company Koyo Bearings s. r. o. This company specializes in the production of bearings mainly for the automotive industry. The supply of the lines operates on the principle of Mikl-run. The practical part focuses on creating a simulation model using the Plant Simulation simulation software from Siemens PLM Software. Based on the created model, several variants were proposed to optimize the loading of the packaging material. These variants were analyzed and evaluated.

Specifically, it focuses on discrete detectors with multipliers and voltage-to-current converters, a discrete peak detector with transconductors, and an integrated RMS detector with an AD734 multiplier. This thesis includes theoretical design of parameters of circuits for required features as well as verification by computer analysis (PSpice) and experimental measurement. This work includes documentation for construction of the product, including the block arrangement and the design of the printed circuit board.
Paint shop Process Improvement through Predictive Simulation
Machačová, Simona ; Hromková, Ivana (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the use of simulation to optimise processes in a paint shop. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the existing production processes and suggest improvements using simulation. In the analytical part of the thesis, the processes in the paint shop are described in detail and Petri nets are used to describe the logic of the processes in the paint shop. In the design part of the thesis, the problem and objectives are formulated, and the design of the simulation model is presented. The design describes the elements and methods used in the Plant Simulation software in which the model is created. Furthermore, different scenarios are simulated to optimize the painting process and the deposition areas. The simulation results are compared with the actual state of the paint shop. Finally, the results are discussed and recommendations are proposed to optimize the paint shop processes using simulation. This work presents new approaches to process optimization in industrial manufacturing.
Material flow concept of a production line supply
Sedláček, Petr ; Dorušáková, Kamila (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
The content of this thesis is a research analysis of individual concepts in the field of corporate logistics with an emphasis on intra-company transport. In the practical part, the current state of the production line loading is evaluated and new variants of line supply are made on the of the given parameters. The work also includes the creation of simulation models of all variants in the Plant Simulation program and conclusions are drawn based on the data obtained.
Simulation of Autonomous Mobile Robots
Janoušek, Radim ; Burian, František (referee) ; Lázna, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this work is to implement robotic algorithms for autonomous tasks. The thesis starts with an introduction to the ROS 2 framework, where the basic features of this framework are introduced. This is followed by a comparison of the most popular robotic simulators, including a more detailed description of the Gazebo simulator and the lesser known Webots simulator. The next chapter focuses on the reasons for choosing the Webots simulator for creating the simulated world and describes the process of creating the interior based on the template. The penultimate chapter discusses the creation of robotic platforms in the Webots simulator and the sensors used, including the simulated lidar. In this simulation, the lidar is created with a mock-up of the real device. In the last chapter, the drivers for controlling the robotic platforms are implemented and a package for ROS 2 is created.
Numerical Analysis of Crawl Spaces Airflow
Pobucká, Slávka ; Kučírek, Pavel ; Šuhajda, Karel ; Vorlíčková, Petra ; Žajdlík, Tomáš
Unlike Central Europe (specifically the Czech Republic), where crawl spaces are not very common, their use is traditional in Nordic countries. However, due to the microclimate within crawl spaces, summertime can be problematic. The relative humidity within a crawl space can reach values of up to 95% [1]. Various factors, including airflow, influence the microclimate of crawl spaces. This paper focuses on simulating airflow and air age in a naturally ventilated soil space in the Czech Republic using OpenFOAM software. The study involves monitoring internal airflow, surface temperature of the crawl space floor and ceiling structure, as well as air humidity and temperature.
Implementation of a Multipurpose Measurement System for (Sub)Terahertz Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy
Následně jsou ukázány příklady z měření pevných látek, konkrétně karbidu křemíku dopovaného vanadem (SiC:V), ftalocyaninu líthia (LiPc) a krystalu 1,3-bisdifenylen-2-fenylallylu (BDPA). Příklady demonstrují schopnosti spektrometru získat multifrekvenční vlnově spojitá EPR spektra a frekvenčně rozmítaná spektra v závislosti na teplotě a orientaci vzorku, a taky spektra pomocí rychlého skenování frekvencí
