Monitor for Wireless M-Bus
Baštán, Ondřej ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Šťastný, Ladislav (advisor)
The thesis proposes a battery-powered devices to monitor and record communications Wireless M-BUS. Work describes how the communication protocol M-BUS, and the related wireless communication protocol Wireless M-BUS and selection of appropriate hardware for the design of the equipment in question. Work also deals with the design and creation of firmware that matches the selected hardware and purpose solutions.
Use of Modern Camera Systems for the Analysis of Road Accidents
Habart, Lukáš ; Prochazka, Eduard (referee) ; Panáček, Vladimír (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of using video records in analysis road accidents. There are described static and dynamic camera systems. There are also explained the principles of functioning digital cameras and other related terms and associated principles. In this thesis there are compared several types of dynamic cameras, desribed analysis an evaluation procedure. Part of this thesis is to describe the legal issues of recording.
Radio Telemetry for RC Aircrafts
Žák, Tomáš ; Fuchs,, Michal (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
Master‘s thesis is focused on problematic about state of RC plane model during the flight. Device is able to measure overload, height, position, pressure and velocity of the flight and store this measurement data to memory medium. The main aim of the master‘s thesis was to design a functional board, firmware for device and design simple program for evaluating of measured data. Involvement consists of five basic parts. First part is microcontroller, which processes measurement data and communicate with others parts. Next is accelerometer. Accelerometer is used for scanning overload of the plane. Barometer is used for measurement of height and pressure. For measuring position and velocity is used GPS module. Last part is memory medium. MicroSD is used as memory medium for storing measurement data. Evaluation of measured data is realized as simple program with base graphical user interface. Program was created in Matlab.
Implementation of functions for writing/reading on SD cards
Bašus, Jaroslav ; Koutný, Martin (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create as many hardware independent library for reading and writing data on an SD card. The first part is a description of communication with the SD in SPI mode. It is set to communicate with several types of hardware devices joining groups microcontrollers megaAVR and AVRXMEGA.
Device for recording data on memory card
Čaloun, Petr ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Pristach, Marián (advisor)
This work deals with design of devices for recording data using programmable gate array. The paper describes the principle of communication protocols used for communication with a memory card. The next part describes the selection of different interfaces, communication protocols and describes the design of data storage devices. The last part is focused on design of application for long time data collection.
Drum Machine for Musicians
Spáčil, Tomáš ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a functional prototype of a drum machine with sound generating using a microcontroller. Introduction is devoted to general drum machine and an analysis of its parts, principle and basic modes of operation. The following chapter deals with the principle of digital signal processing and sound generation using a microcontroller. Part of this chapter is focused on mixing using compression methods. The core of this work is to design my own block structure and overall scheme of the drum machine with a description of the parts. Followed by analysis and implementation with theoretical and practical point of view. It is mainly about presentation and description of important parts of firmware codes, DPS design and another technical documentation useful for final prototype production. The conclusion contains a summary of the results with prezentation and discussion.
Mass storage device for FPGAs
Horyna, Miroslav ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Pristach, Marián (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with mass storage devices for FPGAs Spartan-3. There is described the principle of communication with a memory card using communication protocols. The proposal for extension module for development board Xilinx Spartan-3 Starter Kit board and block program description for the FPGA device are presented.
Design of a new ion counter for the nature environment
Roubal, Šimon ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Roubal, Zdeněk (advisor)
Subject of this bachelors thesis is an realization of new control board for iontmeter that is developed at UTEE. Iontmeter must be capable of fully autonomous measure in outside contitions. That means it has to be able to run on batery for a long time and has to be to resist outside weather conditions. Measured data will be saved on an SD card and also sent using GSM network to the IoT server.
Ambulatory ECG Holter Monitor
Majerík, Peter ; Strašil, Ivo (referee) ; Číž, Radim (advisor)
The thesis deals with design of the device for monitoring four signals from the probes for scanning ECG, PPG and heart pressure. The thesis is mainly focused on hardware design of the device and the most important part is the selection of the storage media to which will be the data recorded and the selection of the microprocessor which has to be able to meet the requirements of the device. For the data recording is used SD card and the ARM based MCU was selected from the AT91SAM7S series. This thesis also deals with the software design for MCU which is needed to launch the device and with design of PC applications used for setting the device and for downloading the measured data. At the end there are presented results of the constructed device.
Multifunction board computer for motorcycles
Netáhlo, Tomáš ; Tošovský, Petr (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with a design and a realization of multifunction board computer for motorcycles. The goal of the device is measuring speed, rotation speed of engine, temperature of ambient, temperature of engine, temperature in intake including signalization of overvoltage and hightemperature. The device is completed by above standard function such as measuring titl of motorcycle, climbing of route, route recording and data transmission to the computer. The thesis includes a complete solution of hardware and software part of the device.
