The Proposal to Strengthen Company Factors from the Perspective of Value Proposition and Customer Segments in Selected Company

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of factors of the selected company influencing its value offer in the current market environment. The first theoretical part describes the bases defining the relevant company factors, the process of strategic management, value offer and innovation including a description of selected analytical-research methods suitable for the analysis of the problematics. The second analytical part explores and analyzes the environment and factors of the company from which, based on the COP analysis, are selected company factors suitable for subsequent strengthening. The design part of the thesis already elaborates process for strengthening factors including concrete steps that will lead to the future development of the company.

Behaviour Patterns and Development Approaches of Small Enterprises

None of the company, including small businesses, if they want to survive in the current dynamic environment and growth, can not remain static, so some level of adjustment, improvement or change becomes an essential part of operating a business. In order for organizations to grow and survive in the current environment, they must respond to external and internal stimuli and develop systematically. Over time, organizations have developed a strong and persistent pattern of behavior. The aim of the dissertation thesis is to identify and explain the development approaches of small enterprises from the chosen service sector in the Czech Republic through strategic and other internally realized organizational changes and capturing the overall patterns of behavior in the form of the interactive effect of the attributes of the development of these enterprises. The thesis is based on the literature on corporate behavior in organizational theory and the subcategory of organizational changes due to the focus on aspects of decision making in organizations in a changing environment that deals with issues related to the different nature, context and process of change and their proactive or reactive character. The thesis is based on the researcher's pragmatic attitude in the form of a mixed research strategy implemented by a combination of quantitative and qualitative research on a sample of small firms falling under the category of knowledge intensive services. Based on the triangulation of the empirical data obtained from the questionnaire survey and the outputs in the form of a comparative case study on the two most represented in this category representatives (IT services and architectural activities), the results are presented with a view to answering the research questions and objectives stated in this work . The outputs of the dissertation identify specific developmental approaches in the behavior of the Czech population of knowledge intensive services as subsets of SMEs and also reveal the content of the context between the individual attributes of the development of these companies. The results of the research bring practical and theoretical benefits, which are discussed in the conclusion of this work.

The practical part is focused on the company Fermat CZ, s. r. o. and the company Lucas precision, INC. The design part formulates the company's business plan for expansion into the US market through the acquisition of the company.

This diploma thesis deals with the proposal of the company ELEKTROKOV,a.s.ZNOJMO, specifically its Electro plant, which operates in the field of transformers, chokes, welding clamps and other winding parts. The first part of the diploma thesis is the theoretical part, which includes primarily variants of possible development of company and selected analyses of both the external and the internal environment of the company. These analyses are used in the practical part of the work, where they have the aim to assess the current situation of the company. Based on the results of these analyses, some solutions are set for expansion of the company to the foreign markets and maintain its position on the domestic market.

The result is a comprehensive, high quality and feasible business plan to build mobile homes, which includes a detailed financial plan and investment appraisal.

This thesis deals with a proposal of business development of the company HUDECZEK SERVICE, s. r. o. which provides servicing of industrial electrical equipment. The theoretical part contains characteristics of potential development of the company and description of selected analyses of company’s external and internal environment. These analyses are then applied in the practical part where they are used for appraisal of company’s current situation. The results of these analyses are subsequently processed into concrete proposals for development opportunities leading to a consolidation of current position on the marketplace and an increase of company’s competitiveness.

This part is about Porter´s five forces model, SWOT analysis, SLEPT analysis and financial analysis. The last section is about overall evaluation of this project and about improving the financial situation of the company.
