Digital twin skin of the drinking water treatment plant - development and use in practice
Sochorová, Helena ; Andreides, D. ; Hložanka, F. ; Prokopová, Michaela ; Stejskal, O. ; Chalupa, L. ; Šmejkalová, P. ; Dolejš, P.
The contribution presents experiences with the development of a digital twin for optimizing the control of the DWTP within the pilot project in the Železná Ruda locality. The digital twin consists of two components, i.e. digital documentation in the object architecture processed by the reverse engineering process, which is data-connected with the real physical infrastructure (virtual replica of the infrastructure) and a simulation tool based on a mathematical model or a neural network (simulation of the water treatment process). Both components are accessible to the user via a web application, in which one can choose from three operating states (monitoring of the real state - default, simulation of scenarios of operating settings and prediction of pressure loss).
Code Analysis and Transformation
Křoustek, Jakub ; Masařík, Karel (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
This paper describes methods and procedures used for code analysis and transformation. It contains basic information of a science discipline called reverse engineering and its use in information technologies. The primary objective is a construction of tool that can disassemble from binary form to symbolic machine code. This operation is highly dependent on the concrete instruction set, and it has to be used for a beforehand known processor architecture. This problem is solved with patterns, plug-ins, and modularity of disassembler. These features provide users the ability to add new instruction sets into this disassembler. The output is the text representation of instructions and is functionally equivalent to the in-put. The thesis demonstrates usual methods of disassembly as well as the methods made by the author.
Decompilation of Specialized and Advanced Instruction Sets
Nové rozšírenia boli implementované a otestované z hľadiska efektivity a kvality spätného prekladu.
Design of replicated production of the selected part using the technology Reverse Engineering and Rapid prototyping
Horňák, Matúš ; Zouhar, Jan (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis in theoretical part describes methods of Reverse engineering and Rapid prototyping. Each method describes its characteristics, pros and cons and usability. Practical part deals with application of these methods on part of a ledge of Škoda 1000 MB, digitalization of object, creating a new volume model, analyzing its dimensions and geometry using deviation analysis, creating prototype, choosing suitable manufacturing technology and technical-economical aspects.
Use of 3D technology in foundry industry
Straka, Pavel ; Krutiš, Vladimír (referee) ; Pernica, Vítězslav (advisor)
The work is focused on replacing a faulty briefcase handle with an aluminium substitution. The handle is fabricated with the help of reverse engineering, where the handle is scanned with a 3D scanner. With that information, a model copy of the part is made, which is 3Dprinted from PLA and PolyCast materials. These handles are used as expendable models, which are used for casting using an “investment casting” method. Those are made from an AlSi10Mg alloy. Theoretical part deals with additive technologies, which are mostly used for manufacturing of foundry models and moulds. Next, the basic principles of 3Dscanning are described, and the term reverse engineering is also explained.
The Production using 3D Printing of Fixture for Shaping Plastic Pipes
Tretera, Robin ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis compares two options in production of shaping form for plastic pipe - handmade production versus 3D print technology (specifically DMLS method). The thesis contains detail description of the final part and shaping form with pros and cons of both production methods. Handmade production is more suitable for serial production with its lower price. In time pressure 3D printing comes up with its fast and repeatable results.
In-Depth Analysis of Code Similarity in Malware Strains
Voščinár, Martin ; Kolář, Dušan (referee) ; Zobal, Lukáš (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is the analysis of malware strains with the aim to discover relationships in terms of code similarity or its reuse. Specialized tools are used for the detection of binary code similarity. Selected strains are then analyzed using reverse engineering techniques to uncover the purpose and origin of such code. Based on these findings, detection patterns are created, efficiently detecting those threats. This research also points out the shortcomings of used tools and proposes options for improvement. In conclusion, the obtained results of this thesis are summarized and evaluated with prospects for the future.
Design of system model of L23 Blanik sailplane
Šenkýř, Miroslav ; Mališ, Michal (referee) ; Urík, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to create useful reference models of the glider L-23 Super Blaník and their use for framework proposal technology of production, which will improve accuracy and reduce labor intensity of production. The introduction of the thesis describes history of glider and historical overview of geometry transmission in terms of structure. The next chapter of the thesis deals with the description of reference models and rules of their creation. Section describing coordinate systems is closely linked with the previous chapter. Another section of thesis is dedicated to the importance of reference models in the product lifecycle. The creation and tuning of reference models of glider is described in the next chapter of thesis. The penultimate chapter deals with experiment, which allowed verification of reference model and product. The conclusion of the thesis describes proposed technology of production where used verified reference models and modern tools of CAD systems refine and facilitate production. The main objective in designing of reference models was the definition of high quality and usable surfaces. Also proposal technology of production was processed in order to ensure the improvement and simplification of manufacturing process.
Assembling and Functional Verification of a Home 3D Printer
Tesař, Jaroslav ; Zouhar, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis was created as a bachelor project in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at VUT in Brno. In the theoretical part, the additive technology Rapid Prototyping is introduced together with the most common methods, followed by the assessment of advantages and disadvantages of the new technology and its possible uses in various fields of human activity. In the experimental part of the diploma thesis was assembled and the printing parameters were set. Consequently the comparison models were printed on the 3D home printer and on professional printer Dimension uPrint. The accuracy of the printers is compared. The thesis concludes with the analysis of technical and economical parameters.
