CMS Framework

This thesis is concerned with design and description of framework for internet content management systems. Framework is implemented using PHP5 programming language and MySQL 4.1 database engine. It is aimed to simplify creation of various internet presentations using simple principles that are repeated in similar projects. We closely look on concept of framework using UML and we analyse choice of used technologies. There are principles of function of whole system, its' structure and used technologies described further in text. This work also contains sample implementation of framework module for practical use.

The aim of this work is to create a web application which is used for improving company communication, for sharing and transfer of information via the company intranet (network). Main focus is placed on the user interface itself, which should be simple, logical and user friendly for a regular user. Utility in the three most frequently used browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera) is also required. The technologies used are PHP (OOP), JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, MySQL and web server Apache2, under the Fedora Core operation system.
The proposal of web content management system for small company presentations

This bachelor thesis deals with creating a new module for Orchard CMS. A new module is based on the original module Media for file management, which supports only a very limited number of file types. The work was written in C # language using Microsoft. NET Framework version 4. The aim of this thesis was to create the new module and publish it on the website of The Orchard project.

On its basis of the system's features there have been made proposals for extensions which, when implemented, will let the DotNetNuke system to be used as full-value editorial system.
Modular Content Management System in ASP.NET

This bachelor thesis contains a proposal of a content management system, created according to the standards usually required of systems working with content management, these standards are the object of the opening chapter. In this chapter, options of the realization and their advantages are also discussed. The system is realized through ASP.NET, which is a part of a bigger .NET Framework, a platform, which also comprises of some additional technologies, which were used in the project. The technologies used during the application development are discussed in the second chapter. The content management in the proposed application would not be possible without a functional database, which the third chapter describes. A relational database model based on a client-server communication using SQL inquiries was selected for the developed application. The fourth chapter is dedicated to the application creation itself, which is made of a simple interface for the synchronization of clients’ replies to the events of logged users. This chapter also contains a database proposal and a description of the individual application content. The final chapter is dedicated to the security of the project along with the potential risks description and their existing or proposed solutions. The appendices shows the visual part of application and it’s components.
