Evaluation of Psychosocial Clima by Woman in a Small Maternity Hospital

This thesis focuses on mapping and evaluation of psychosocial climate by expectant mothers in the "Česko-německá horská nemocnice s.r.o.". It is a theoretical and empirical project. The theoretical part provides knowledge about psychological changes, which the woman goes through during her pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. The further space is devoted to the needs of the expectant mother, the stress in the perinatal period and woman's psychopathology in the mentioned periods. Socio-cultural links in the perinatal period are also discussed. The vital importance lies in describing psychosocial aspects in the perinatal care as well as communication with the woman in the perinatal period. The research part of the thesis is aimed at the analysis of psychosocial climate in the maternity hospital in Vrchlabí. A questionnaire of psychosocial climate of the KLI-P maternity hospital was used for the research. 51 mothers participated in the evaluation plus extra 10 to complete the qualitative questionnaire. The analysis is enriched by two midwives' point of view of the approach to delivering mothers in the Vrchlabí maternity hospital. Comparison of psychosocial climate of the first grade classes at primary school and elementary school with elements of Montessori pedagogy from the teacher perspective.

This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the psychosocial climate of classes of ordinary elementary schools and elementary schools with the elements of Montessori pedagogy from the teacher perspective. The theoretical part summarizes the current knowledge concerning the psychosocial climate of the class and the knowledge of pedagogy according to Marie Montessori. The practical part consists of qualitative research, semi-structured interviews with respondents working in ordinary elementary schools and respondents from elementary schools with elements of Montessori pedagogy were used. Its aim was to obtain information on the process of creating a psychosocial climate in both these types of primary schools. The differences between the two groups of respondents in the area of determinants of the creation of psychosocial climate, obstacles in the creation of psychosocial climate, the educational style of teachers and the use of project teaching proved to be significant.

This thesis focuses on mapping and evaluation of psychosocial climate by expectant mothers in the "Česko-německá horská nemocnice s.r.o.". This work is based on the results of the research project "Psychosocial climate in maternity hospitals from the perspective of parturients - theory and diagnostics" (project no. 316111), realized in the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. The thesis is a theoretical and empirical work. The theoretical part provides knowledge about psychological changes, which the woman goes through during her pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. The further space is devoted to the historical look at the development of inclusion of the psychosocial aspects into the health care and the current approach to the patients in general basis and to the women in labour especially. The theoretical part touches also the pathological mental states of women occurring in this time most frequently. However, the psychosocial aspects of the care for the woman in the perinatal period are the core of the theoretical part. Chicane as a phenomenon of a school of today

This thesis is focused on the chicane as a phenomenon of a school of today. The aim is to explain how chicane is reflected in social relations. The firts section is engaged not only in the definition of the bullying, but also there are introduced its types, forms and stages. It is followed by the personality characteristics of its protagonists and the main causes of this behaviour. Finally, the introductory section handles with the bullying behaviour recognition, treatment and prevention. This thesis addresses the close link between the social interaction and the formation of personality in relation to bullying. The class is described in terms of social groups. The final part deals with the questions ragarding the interrelation of the bullying to the social class climate. Domestic violence and its influence on psycosocial family climate

This thesis deals with domestic violence and is divided into two theoretical parts. The first of the two parts is focused on: the definition of the term family, the main purposes and all other factors that have any influence on family. The second part takes a detailed look at domestic violence itself. It offers an explanation of the features of domestic violence, discusses the forms and phases of its advancement and characterises the personality of a suspect and of a victim. The final part, named "Family climate", gives the conclusions which are drawn from the thesis.
