Time management in construction company managerial work

The goal of the thesis is to find out if manager in the area of building uses the methods of time management for the planning of work and tasks. At the beginning of theoretical part is the basic definition of the „time management“, assessment of the goals and the priorities, explanation of the methods used by time management and how to manage effectively. This part of the thesis deals with the downside as well – procrastination. Shows this downside as inability to manage the time management. The methods of time management are described and history of this methods as well. The second – practical part of the thesis – contains proposed hypotheses what investigate how the time management is in reality used by building managers, how helps the electronics and if managers prefer the working time. The author tries this hypotheses to confirm or to refute using the survey and structured interviews in selected building companies. The results of the thesis are suitable recommendations for more effective planning of the time and avoidance the mistakes in this area.

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a web-based application whose job is to fight procrastination and help the user achieve goals using 30-day challenges. This work addresses the problems of putting off or delaying something that requires immediate attention and analyzes similar existing solutions on the market. The development of the application focuses most on user-friendliness, intuitive control and responsiveness. The problems of maintaining users active and motivated are solved by using gamification and socialization elements. The application is implemented through modern web technologies. The end of the thesis mentions a testing process and the future of the application.

The bachelor thesis focuses on how construction managers in Belarus know and use time management techniques, how they manage their time and which factors influence it. The theoretical part contains basic concepts related to the topic of time management, explains the concept of procrastination and basic time management techniques. In the practical part, the author answered 4 research questions based on a survey. The result of the work is recommendations and suggestions on how to improve time management and deal with procrastination.

Strategy to Decrease Rate of Procrastination While Using Methods Improving Awareness and Emotional Self-regulation

This diploma thesis is proposing and evaluating a strategy of human resource management in the field of productivity of intellectual workers and students while using insights from scientific research on procrastination and productivity. The suggested strategy implements especially two methods that were found effective for lowering the rate of procrastination in latest scientific studies – the method of awareness and mindfulness and the method of journaling. This diploma thesis includes design and creation of an educational program consisting of video lessons in the field of time-management, techniques of mindfulness and awareness and the method of journaling. Furthermore, it includes running research with a group of students during an exam period, while all participants record information on using the above mentioned methods for the period of 15 days, while the logged information has combined nature between objective information on performance (data on usage of personal computer, data on the amount of work done and time spent on it) and self-evaluation information (subjective evaluation of daily performance and subjective evaluation of perceived daily happiness). This thesis evaluates the suggested strategy on the research sample of 15 university students and is using the methods of input and output questionnaire, same as analysis of the continuous data logged while journaling from the research participants, to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy. The goal is to be able to apply this strategy in the business practice in human resource management. Another possible application is also improvement of study productivity of students using self-management techniques.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis, titled "Time management of Students at Faculty of Economics University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice", is to analyse Time management and to propose optimal use of their time. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on four generations of time management, planning time, advantages and disadvantages of using planning tools, methods and techniques, rules of arrangement in office, on the table and tools belong to office, using email effectively and procrastinations. The practical part of the thesis uses quantitative research, based on the data obtained from questionnaires with students. Every question and answer is evaluated in a graphic way and summarized.
Relationship between smart phones usage and procrastination among university students

The bachelor's thesis deals with the problematic use of the Internet in mobile phones and procrastination among university students. The aim of the work is to find out if there is a correlation between these phenomena. The thesis introduces the theoretical basis and theoretically anchors concepts such as addiction, procrastination and digital society. The practical part of the work is processed using a quantitative research method, specifically, a questionnaire survey is used. The questionnaire is distributed among university students online. The results show that there is a correlation between procrastination and internet addiction in mobile phones.

Academic dishonesty and its relationship to work ethics

The thesis is concerned with possible relationship between the rate and kinds of academic dishonesty and work ethics. In the first segment of the theoretical section of the thesis, the extent of present research concerned with the reciprocal relationship of breaking of the rules in the context of school and work and the possibility of predicting aspects of work ethics on the basis of having knowledge about the rate of academic dishonesty of a given individual, is summarized. The second theoretical segment is a descripitiona and discussion of research of factors which affect both dishonesty in the school context and aspects of work ethics. On the basis of identification of these factors are in the empirical section analysed data, which were acquired through surveying of university level and high school students. Significant difference betwen the rates of dishonesty in high school and university level context, which is contradictory to some of the previous research literature.Relationship of the students to their grades and to some extent, gender, were shown to be significant influence on rate of academic dishonesty. The analysis of the direczt relationship between academic dishonesty and work ethics has yielded mixed results, suggesting, that the relationship si more complex than previously suspected
Eligibility of primary school pupils to manage their time

The topic of this thesis is procrastination. Procrastination is "the illogical, but deliberate delaying of planned action, which is accompanied by a commitment to alternative activities." (Sliviaková 2010, p. 3). Occasional procrastination however mostly harmless is only a small step from procrastination chronic. Chronic procrastination already points at undesirable situation, the malfunction of a healthy lifestyle and self-control. That view is the starting point for the research work of the problem, which investigates the symptoms of procrastination among primary and secondary school pupils. Procrastination is usually being considered in relation to adults' behaviour. The question asked is whether it is relevant to consider procrastination also in relation to children at primary school. In the theoretical part, we therefore first gathered and compiled the available data about the topic from various Czech and foreign sources, mainly to define with necessary precision the object of the study (procrastination) and learned the wider context of the issue (time management, self- management). The survey is based on interviews with six parents and thirty pupils from 1st to 5th grade.
