Prevention of risk behaviour at a chosen primary school

This bachelor thesis deals with problematics of risk behaviour occurring at primary schools and its possible means of prevention. The thesis consists of two main parts, the theoretical one and the practical one. The theoretical part deals with characteristics of chosen types of risk behaviour and means of prevention, then it defines concrete preventive programs of schools and informs about its agents. The practical part of the bachelor thesis deals with prevention of risk behaviour of pupils at a chosen primary school. It presents the quantitative and qualitative survey and the results in the domains of the evaluation of completed prevention of risk behaviour and the perception of pupils and teachers on those programs. The target of the qualitative survey is also to present the viewpoint of teachers on the universal importance of prevention and effectivity of various preventive activities. The interview further detects all the possible means of prevention and ways to handle risk behaviour at the chosen primary school. In the last part of the bachelor thesis is formulated a recommendation for the realization of prevention at the chosen primary school, where the survey took place.

Abstract: This thesis identifies and describes the approach and objectives set in the area of drug prevention in primary school. It characterizes preventive programs and methods used by individual teachers and indicates another possible strategies in this area. It describes the diversity of approaches to the prevention of substance used in two different regions is described and the main reasons for these differences are discussed. The differences are described and explained in the practical part of the thesis. Finally, the possible ways how to enrich and improve the quality of primary prevention programs in primary schools are listed. Psychological Aspects of Prevention of Sexual Risk Behavior with Attention to Attitudinal Changes in Adolescents

Sexual risk behavior is a phenomenon affecting physical and mental health of an individual. In this paper, the psychological aspects of specific types of sexual risk behavior with attention to its causes as well as its consequences are presented. It is focused on a developmental period of adolescence in the context of the risk behavior syndrome in adolescents. Furthermore, effective approaches to preventive activities are discussed. As for the objectives of programs, the main aim is to influence the attitudes of adolescents. These changes should be reflected in their behavior and can be measured. The paper projects a questionnaire for attitudes towards sexual risk behavior of adolescents entitled Inventory SP-20 that is also used in a research design. In the experiment, changes in attitudes within the preventive programs are measured. The change can be an indicator of effectivity of the programs. Prevention programmes against cyber-bullying in the Czech rep.

The subject of my bachelor work is cyber bullying as one of forms classic bullying and theoretical and practical prevention of this phenomenon. This work focus mainly on a way, in which is this new form of bullying solved and what programmes are existing in the Czech republic specifically to prevent cyberbullying. These programmes are evaluated. The bachelor work contains definition of the term cyberbullying in wider understanding - At first the work focuses on classic bullying, then the role of cyberspace in social interaction. Another basic theory for my work is theory of evaluation. Next part of the work is definition of the term cyberbullying as a social problem. This part includes forms and instruments of cyberbullying. I also pay attention on specific cases of cyberbullying in the Czech republic and abroad. Further there are researches and legislation about this topic in the Czech republic and abroad. The next part focuses on prevention of cyberbullying in our country - advices for stakeholders (children, parents, teachers) dealing with social patological phenomena. Expressions of adolescent risk behavior and possibilities if its prevention

This diploma thesis deals with risk behaviour of adolescents and possibilities of its prevention by means of prevention. The aim of the thesis is to identify and map the most common forms of risk behaviour, which occurs in the age cohort of 18-19 years, i.e. at the threshold of adulthood, among high school students (from their point of view). The thesis also deals with the possibilities of prevention of this behaviour provided within the area of preventive work (from the perspective of prevention methodologists). Using the form of multiple case studies, the thesis uses both quantitative research methods, which comprise structured questionnaires for pupils of selected secondary schools from the same urban area, as well as qualitative, which represent semi-structured interviews with prevention methodologists. The theoretical part of the thesis, based on relatively extensive literature available, characterizes the developmental period of adolescence, socialization of the child, presents a summary of the usual types of risk behaviour of adolescents and describes the system of prevention. Boarding of second grade elementary schools in Pilsen region

The diploma thesis deals with eating habits of pupils of the 2nd grade of elementary school located in the Pilsen region. The results of the research are evaluated in terms of healthy diet of pupils. The eating habits of children in the school environment are strongly influenced by several determinantsthat are discussed in the work. The aim of the thesis was to map the eating habits of children at the second grade of elementary school and to suggest possibilities that the school could use to support healthy school meals for its pupils and thus to influence the healthy lifestyle. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the state's attitude to the protection and promotion of health and disease prevention through the basic document Národní strategie ochrany a podpory zdraví a prevenci nemocí Zdraví 2020. Emphasis is placed on the state's attitude to healthy school meals through laws, decrees, standards and elaborated the national strategy. Prevention of socially undesirable phenomenon in the selected region

This bachelor thesis concerns the ways of prevention of socially pathological phenomena realisation in Pribram region. Theoretical part is dedicated to definition of particular socially pathological phenomena and the ways of socially pathological phenomena prevention including concerned institutions at the national level are discussed. In practical part qualitative methodology is used to capture the structure and cooperation of institutions that are concerned in socially pathological phenomena prevention in the dedicated region including the analysis of concrete prevention programmes executed by organizations of communication partners.

Socio-pathological phenomena and their prevention at schools

Diploma thesis deals with problems realization of primary prevention of socially pathological phenomena at elementary schools. Presents basic characteristics of the socially pathological phenomena, organisations engaged in the implementation of preventive programs, including recommended methods and procedures. Also proposes a methodology of prevention, the filling of his work. The key part is the custom implementation of the short-prevention program with the use of the materials issued by the Civil association Call hope. Part of the work is also a proposal of variants of the job of the leaves, which is possible in the framework of the implementation of the primary prevention use. In the framework of the master thesis was carried out research whose aim was to obtain the opinion of the on the issue of prevention and the current situation at the primary school from the perspective of the methodology of prevention, to further obtain feedback from pupils who have completed the preventive programs.
