Particularity of the entrepreneurial environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina

This thesis gives an analysis of the entrepreneurial environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina from the perspective of foreign investors, who would like to enter on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina, either to export on this markert or run a business here. Thesis involves the evaluation of the current state of the entrepreneurial environment of a country and gives the advantages and disadvantages of the country and its specificity for potential investors. Entrepreneurial environment of the country is analyzed using the PEST analysis.

The subject of the diploma thesis titled "Strategy analysis of the company" is a strategic analysis of the selected company. Its purpose is to analyze a current status of the company with focus on finance and distribution channels. Further, based on findings conceive a strategic recommendation for the company. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part is described a general approach to company strategy, strategic analysis and instruments for company strategy analysis. In the practical part are chosen analyses applied on the selected company -- adidas ČR s.r.o. Finally, findings of applied analysis are summarized into the strategic recommendation for the selected company.

This work deals with the strategic analysis of Czech agricultural enterprise. It is divided into three parts. The first part describes the theoretical background of this work. There are described methods of external and internal analysis. The second, practical part, is concerned with practical applications of strategic analysis to the specific conditions of the agricultural enterprise. In the third part we can find a synthesis of knowledge from the practical part carried out through the SWOT analysis. In the final chapter recommendations for the future of the enterprise are formulated.

Theoretical part of the thesis focuses on explanation of basic terms in the field of strategic management of companies and on the overview of instruments used for strategic analysis of a company. In the practical part i have attempted to make a detailed analysis of the production of buttons in Knoflíkářský průmysl Žirovnice, using PEST analysis and Porter's Five forces model. The aim was to make a decision, based on the analyses, wheter or not to continue producing buttons in the company.

Comparison of business environment in the Slovak and Czech republic

In my thesis I was concentrated on analysis and comparison of two business enviromets in the Slovak and Czech republic. The goal was to point out the differences of these two business enviroments and on the other side to find out what is similar for both countries. Comparison of both enviroments is based on PEST analysis, in which I was concentrated on key economic trends such as GDP, rate of inflation a unemployment. Moreover I compared tax systems and programs to support small and medium-sized companies of both countries. Finally I described results of research which was undertaken on particular companies.

The aim of this thesis is (i) the introduction of the small company Gentech, s. r. o., which operates in building industry, (ii) the assessment of its current activities, (iii) the internal analysis of the firm, (iv) the analysis of the firm's industry and (v) the external macroenvironment (PEST) analysis. The internal analysis identified the firm's strengths and weaknesses and the external analysis revealed opportunities and threats. A profile of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats were generated by means of a SWOT analysis. An industry analysis was performed using a framework developer by M. E. Porter known as Porter's five forces. On the bases of the information from the environmental scan, they were outlined possibility options for the firm strategy which should be necessary for this small company to survive and prosper.
