Pension for the elderly

The subject of my diploma thesis is the design documentation for the pension which is designed for the elderly and will be supplemented with a specialty from the air-conditioning branch. The building is situated in the western part of the town Bystřice nad Pernštejnem and it's located at 3058/3 about the total area of 8315,2m. The total footprint of the suggested building is 1161,2 m. The subject has got an irregularly-shaped floor plan. It is made of three subsequent triangels, it has got three above-ground floors with partial basement. The roof of the building is suggested as a warm flat roof with coating insulation. The structural system of a building is designed as longitudinal with shear walls. The exterior building masonry is suggested from sharpened clay blocks Heluz STI 40 with thickness 400 mm. The contact thermal insulation system ETICS with an insulant from EPS with thickness 100 mm is designed for all building. The building for the elderly is from its bigger part meant for citizens who are older than 65 years in the flats for one or two persons in 2FLR and 3FLR. The space for essential services to the residents is located on the 1st FLR. There are also a cafe and a surgery located in a smaller part of the 1st FLR, which are to be used both by the residents and the public.

This work aims to develop projekt documentation for building construction. The projekt addresses the new construkction of a pension for seniors. Pension is located in the city of Kutná Hora in the Central Region. The object is designed for 34 people throughout the year. Pension has one underground and free above ground floors. The shape of the object is unspecified at several height levels. It is a reversed L-shaped with mid-point projections. Pension is bricked from ceramic blocks. The roof is a combination of a sliding flat roof and a console roof. The building is situated in a place of flat terrain.

Content of this master´s thesis work is a project of Home for the elderly in Čejč based on requests of the investor. The object is designed as a three storey house in Porotherm system with both flat and oblique roof. There are 31 apartments located in this object. A disposal study is elaborated and a part of executive project documentation of the building is being set in this work.

This thesis is deals with design of a Senior’s Boarding House in Lomnicka u Tisnova. Building four-storey building with one service basement floor with This thesis deals with a design of a retirement home in Lomnicka u Tisnova. This is a four storey building with one service basement floor and with a flat roof. The structural system is of a transverse wall type. Material of structural elements is a combination of reinforced concrete and masonry. The building is founded on piles. In addition, the design includes a restaurant for warming and serving food prepared in different place, laundry and a small pool. All construction drawings and schedules has been developed as building information model (BIM).
The Sanitary Instalation and Gas Instalation in Retirement Home

The scope of the thesis is the design of sanitation installations in the boarding house for seniors. The building has four floors above ground. It will be covered by gable roof. On the first floor, technical background of the building, reception and gym can be found. On the second floor, there is a kitchen and large dining room with terrace. The remaining floors are used for accommodation. Theoretical part focuses on brief history of using natural gas. Computational and project part deals with sewer system, plumbing and gas main in the building.

Subject of the master thesis is detail design documentation of a home for the eldery. My building is located in the center of the village Chomýž. The thesis includes architectural and structural designs, concept of technical systems and assessment of the building’s energy performance. Home for eldery contains 8 apartments. My building is fully wheelchair accessible. The building has two floors. On the first floor there are four apartments, canteen, sanitary facilities and technical equipment. On the second floor there are four apartments, community centre, doctor and hairdresser. The foundations are made of concrete foundation strips. Load-bearing walls and non-load-bearing walls in all floors are made of ceramic blocks. The ceiling structure on all floors consists of precast floor slabs. The staircase is also designed as precasted. The building is covered with a flat extensive green roof. Thermal insulation of the facade will be made of polystyrene. The drawings were elaborated in AutoCAD software.

The projected retirement home is located in the cadaster of the town Velká Bíteš. The building is designed with respect of resident's needs of retirement age. It is a four-storey building without basement. There are designed external doctor's offices on the first floor. There are lounge with library and technical facilities on the first floor as well. Besides that, we can find accomodation spaces from second up to fourth floor. The structural system is a longitudinal wall and ceilings are made by monolithic reinforced concrete. The roof is shed. The building is detached with built chambers
Environmentally advanced pension

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a new building of an environmental metal boarding house for the elderly with almost zero energy consumption. The guest house is a free-standing building with four floors and a middle tube, which is five floors. The first floor is more accessible to the public, there is a cafe, a social hall, offices, but also a nurse's office or technical facilities. The second to fourth floors are used for housing seniors in separate housing units. The total number of seniors who can stay here is 60. The first part of the documentation deals with the building permit for the construction in question. The entire object is made of a masonry ceramic system, which are horizontally interspersed with a monolithic ceiling slab. The facade on the first floor consists of wooden paneling, on the 2nd floor to the 4th floor there is already a facade plastered with silicone plaster. The roof structure consists of two different types, namely a walkable extensive green roof and an operational one with a roof rack. The second part of the work is focused on the engineering of the building environment, where concepts for the building's water supply were created. Furthermore, the concept of loading rainwater was solved, which is solved by a system of accumulation in a concrete sump with an overflow into a soaking device. The use of rainwater for irrigation or flushing is considered here. Heat pumps (ground / water) were chosen as a source of heating and cooling, which provide us with heat in the winter and cold in the summer. DHW is solved as an indirect heating tank, which is heated by the already mentioned heat pumps. In order for the object to meet all the requirements of today's building, we had to install forced ventilation or cooling of individual rooms for ideal thermal comfort in the summer. The concept of photovoltaic panels and the design of suitable lighting in individual rooms were also dealt with in the given part. The last part of the thesis dealt with the assessment of the source of heat and cold with regard to the consumed energy, acquisition and operating costs. The result of the given energy assessment should be the selection of a suitable source for the building in question. The diploma thesis deals with a new building of retirement home. This thesis aims to elaborate a project documentation for the construction of the building. It is a self-standing object on a flat land. The retirement home has one underground floor and three above ground floors. On the underground floor there are the retirement home’s technical equipment and warehouses. On the ground floor there are public services (patisserie and café, manicure and pedicure, pharmacy and hairdresser), dining room, the retirement home’s background which includes an office and a reception. The first floor and the second floor are designed for the accommodation of seniors in single and double apartments. There are also a common room and retirement home’s equipment. The bearing construction consists of ceramic masonry of thickness 250 and 300 mm and reinforced concrete columns. The masonry and the columns are based on a concrete bases and concrete beads. The retirement home is roofed with a double-skinned sloping roof with a load-bearing structure made of truss girders. The facade of the building is partly designed as ventilated. The object is insulated by a contact thermal insulation system.
