The trial of Milada Horáková and Co. and its influence on the Czechoslovak media in 1950

The bachelor's thesis examines the trial of Milada Horáková and associates and its impact on Czechoslovak media in 1950. It explores the political background preceding the trial, the fate of Milada Horáková, and the media environment of the time. The practical part includes research from both contemporary and historical media. Specifically, it utilizes qualitative content analysis of Rudé právo and Nová svoboda from mid-May to mid-June. The goal was to identify main themes, narratives, and propagandistic elements in the headlines, subheadlines, and subtexts of both newspapers. The research revealed how the figures of the trial were presented and how the media approaches of the two newspapers differed. The findings provide deeper insights into media manipulation under the totalitarian regime and the methods used. Additionally, the practical part includes an analysis of Martin Vadas's documentary series "Process H" and an examination of mentions of the series in Czech online media. Optimization of the Manual Coil Wrapping Workplace

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the optimization of the manual coil winding workplace in the Elektromotory Drásov spin-off plant of the Innomotics company. There are downtimes at the workplace due to excessive walking, which is the result of an inefficient layout of the workplace. In the theoretical part, individual concepts of process management in production are explained together with methods and tools for improving processes. In the analytical part, the company is described in more detail, especially its current state, including the waste that occurs here. In the design part, two proposals for a new workplace layout are created, which are further compared and, with the help of analyses, their savings in production time, excess walking and financial resources are evaluated.
Improving the production process after implementation new technology

This bachelor thesis deals with the improvement of the production process after the introduction of a new technology so that the improvement would be carried out by the appropriate design after the analysis of the actual state of the selected process. The work is done for the company NOMINAL CZ OBCHODNÍ, s. r. o., which is engaged in the production of healthy food. The first part of the thesis defines the theoretical bases that were key to the creation of the analytical part. It is more closely devoted to the identification and specification of problems, which are then solved in the design part, which recommends the company to take certain measures. These measures are then evaluated qualitatively and quantitatively.

To understand the issue, the theoretical background is first presented. Then, the current state of the company is addressed using relevant analyses. On the basis of the results obtained, a change is proposed, which includes the implementation of a completely customized information system.
Improving the production process

This bachelor thesis is focused on business processes, where the aim is to propose improvements to the production processes in the manufacture of a cylindrical rotor, in order to increase productivity and reduce costs. The thesis is carried out in Innomotics Ltd. The theoretical part defines and describes the basic concepts related to the process and its possible analyses. The analytical part is then used to introduce the company and their processes, but is primarily concerned with mapping the production process, focusing mainly on material flow, productivity at each site and transport between sites. Based on the analyses, proposals are then made that aim to improve the entire production process. Finally, the overall benefits of this proposal for the company and its financial cost are also evaluated.

The second, analytical part, thoroughly examines the production process and quality-related issues that may arise during production. The final part is the proposal section, where the purchase of a new machine is proposed and the feasibility of this investment is examined.

In third and final part of the thesis, the findings from the conducted analyses are utilized to develop a proposal for improving the current state of the company's information system.
