Optimization of the Manual Coil Wrapping Workplace

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the optimization of the manual coil winding workplace in the Elektromotory Drásov spin-off plant of the Innomotics company. There are downtimes at the workplace due to excessive walking, which is the result of an inefficient layout of the workplace. In the theoretical part, individual concepts of process management in production are explained together with methods and tools for improving processes. In the analytical part, the company is described in more detail, especially its current state, including the waste that occurs here. In the design part, two proposals for a new workplace layout are created, which are further compared and, with the help of analyses, their savings in production time, excess walking and financial resources are evaluated.

This bachelor thesis deals with a comparison of the british Labour Party Manifesto and the british Conservative Party Manifesto in the general elections of 2010. The thesis aims to describe general definiton of a political party, historic development of its definition, minimal and special definition of a political party. The focus is also on division of political parties due to the organizational structure and the political parties typology in the scope of the left-right polarity. The last part of the first chapter deals with the political party manifests. The second chapter aims to analyze the Labour Party Manifesto 2010 and its subchapters represented by the introduction, rebuilding the economy, education, health, crime and immigration, families and older people, communities and creative Britain, a green recovery, democratic reform and a global future. There is a Conservative Manifesto 2010 analysis in the third chapter and it deals namely with its subchapters change the economy, change society, change politics, protect the environment and promote our national interest. There is a comparison of both of the manifests in the last chapter, including the evaluation of the real activity of the conservative government elected in 2010 in the foreign policy area. The Peace Corps and Its Role in the Cold War

This bachelor thesis is focused on the activity of the Peace Corps in Africa during the presidency of John Fitzgerald Kennedy and under the conduct of its first director Robert Sargent Shriver. The thesis researches and evaluates the process of the Peace Corps establishment, its activities and its role within this period of time. The question whether the Peace Corps was a purely voluntary organisation or whether it fulfilled any political goal in the concept of the Kennedy's foreign policy is the main research question to which the thesis tries to find an answer. Firstly, the thesis deals with the Peace Corps establishment and the problems related to it. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the structure of the Peace Corps and its purpose as well as the profile, the experiences and the motivation of its volunteers to join the Peace Corps. It also covers the training programs of future volunteers. Last but not least, the thesis will focus on the activities of the American volunteers in particular African countries that are Somalia, Tanganyika and Nigeria. The closing chapter is concerned with the John F. Kennedy's foreign policy and the Peace Corps' role in its conduct on the African continent in the Cold War context.
