Závěrečná část obsahuje použitou literaturu a seznam autorových činností v průběhu studia.
The visualization of basic shapes of organic molecules
Andrlíková, Věra ; Teplá, Milada (advisor) ; Janoušková, Svatava (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on teaching using visualization of shapes of molecules in organic chemistry in contexts with orbitals at grammar schools. The theoretical part explores the classification of the topic in the Czech Framework Education Programme as well as in selected grammar school curricula. Within the content of the visualization, the emphasis is placed on molecules of alkanes, alkenes and alkynes, bonds (single, double and triple bonds) and the association with molecular orbitals and hybridization. The theoretical part also dedicates to a set of criteria for analysis of didactic materials. The practical part devotes to evaluation of selected didactic materials (textbooks, mobile applications for smartphones, websites and videos). The analysis was based on criteria given in the theoretical part. The practical part deals more deeply with the practical processing of lesson which devotes to the topic of shapes of molecules and bonds. The visualisation of molecules plays a key role in the proposed lesson plan.
Organic chemistry and nomenclature of organic chemistry at secondary school
Bláhová, Jana ; Šulcová, Renata (advisor) ; Teplá, Milada (referee)
BLÁHOVÁ, J.. Organic chemistry and nomenclature of organic chemistry at secondary school. Prague: Faculty of Science Charles University, 2019. Keywords: organic chemistry, secondary school, research of textbooks, curriculum documents, stratified selection, nomenclature of organic chemistry, serious game Abstract Bachelor's thesis deals with questions of teaching of organic chemistry at secondary schools. The main object of thesis is to do a survey and to analyse curricular documents and chemistry textbooks. Representative sample was chosen at the basis of stratified choice. Pedagogical research methods were used to analyse and evaluate data. Results were evaluated and discussed. A serious game based on nomenclature of organic chemistry was designed on the base of discovered facts. Some minor disproportions were discovered between School Educational Programmes and Framework Educational Programme.
Isomerism in Chemical Education
Samková, Běla Marie ; Teplá, Milada (advisor) ; Hybelbauerová, Simona (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on isomerism teaching at secondary schools. The theoretical part is dedicated to the research of educational materials and the classification of the topic within RVP G and chosen school curricula. In the practical part of the thesis, a powerpoint presentation with rotating 3D models of molecules is created. The presentation is accompanied by didactical materials, suggestions of implementation into the educational process as well as its relations with other topics of organic chemistry. Within the practical part, proposals of activities concerning isomerism are included. In the presented didactical materials, fixation of the spatial imagination of structure of organic molecules is strengthened.
Education of organic chemistry in high school - problem parts of subject
Tvarohová, Eliška ; Hybelbauerová, Simona (advisor) ; Urbanová, Klára (referee)
Teachers, while teaching, are facing to some sections of schoolwork which make serious problems to understand. The main task of this diploma thesis is solving the issue of organic chemistry on the field of Gymnasium. The pedagogical attitude was chosen for the selection of problem parts. New educational materials were purposed on the basis of gathered information and thanks to the research the efficiency of teaching the organic chemistry and its problematic parts should augment the undestanding of the problematic parts as well as the bettering of education. Theoretical part of the diploma thesis looks into the methodology of pedagogical research, curriculum documents, didactic methods and forms and literature exploration of defined problem parts of textbooks of organic chemisty for the high schools. Consequently, the practical part exposes results of the performed pedagogical research and the analyse of schoolbooks. Including noticed facts, the main output of the dissertation is the package of the new educational materials and various methods of education focused on the specific parts of the curriculum of organic chemistry, specificaly the set of the new instructional backgrounds solving the circumstances of organical chemistry. These educational materials and the proposed methods of education were also...
Textbook of organic chemistry for secondary education.
Hurný, David ; Hybelbauerová, Simona (advisor) ; Klímová, Helena (referee) ; Smrček, Stanislav (referee)
This thesis deals with creation of new textbook for high schools and gymnasium students. The main focus of this work is mainly on general prinicples and laws in chemistry. Great attention is dediacted to atom structure, chemical bond, electronic effects, resonance theory, induction and mesomeric effect. The core content based on RVP is supplemented by parts for work with talented students. Every chapter is supplemented with number of excercises which should be used to complement the subject matter. Tools for Creating Organic Compound Formulas and Possibilities of their Use in Chemistry Education
Stárková, Dagmar ; Rusek, Martin (advisor) ; Čapek Adamec, Martin (referee)
The thesis explores suitability of software for drawing formulas in organic chemistry and its preparation in elementary and high schools. It uses both quantitative and qualitative research methods and notes that this kind of software could be a practical teaching aid if it was properly placed in the educational process. The thesis represents essential functions of these programs with respect to their technical demands. It also examines the current status of the use of software for drawing formulas from the teachers perspective in primary and secondary education. Presented is an overview of the functions of software for drawing formulas with regard to their use in organic chemistry. The findings of this research indicate that organic chemistry is the topic where the editors are most commonly used. It was also found that respondents use software for drawing formulas very rarely, especially to prepare for teaching, less in the school. In today's digital age, this condition cannnot be accepted. It is necessary to examine various options for the use of information and communication technologies and to promote their effective integration into chemistry education as many researches have shown.
Využití materiálů získaných při odstraňování starých ekologických zátěží
Výzkumný ústav organických syntéz, Centrum ekologie, toxikologie a analytiky, Pardubice-Rybitví ; Petira, Oldřich ; Mejstřík, Viktor ; Čihák, Rostislav ; Držková, Libuše ; Doležalová, Ludmila
Projekt řeší odstraňování a další využití některých typů odpadů současně s odstraněním nebo minimalizací environmentálních a zdravotních rizik. Jedná se o velkoobjemové odpady s nebezpečnými vlastnostmi. Byly zkoumány problémové odpady, které tvoří ekologickou zátěž v masivních množstvích: kontaminovaný síran železnatý z anorganických chemických výrob (anorganické pigmenty), destilační zbytky z výrob organické chemie (polotovary pro širokou škálu následných syntéz), redukční odpad z výrob aromatických aminů (masově užívané meziprodukty, např. barviva). U těchto hmot byly po laboratorním ověření provedeny pilotní zkoušky možného využití.
