System for Recording and Evaluation of GPS Data
Žáčik, Šimon ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is design and implementation of web system for results evaluation and tracking of sports events based on GPS data. GPS data acquisition is possible by mobile application for Android operating system or by import TCX files. User interface allows realtime competitors tracikng or replay of competition progress. The part of application is automatic generating of intermediate and overall standings of athletes. System is implemented in PHP scripting language, user interface was developed in HTML, CSS, javascript libraries jQuery, Bootstrap and OpenLayers for work with maps.
Web-Based GPS and Meteorological Data Publishing System
Šoulák, Martin ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor thesis is to develop a web application for publishing and animating a route on hiking maps together with images obtained from a meteorological radar. The thesis includes the basics of the Earth surface description, coordinate systems, GPS and the meteorological radars. The next part of the text describes an analysis of available application interfaces for building rich web-based geographic applications. The application was developed in PHP with using the Javascript OpenLayers open-source library for creating a dynamic map in the web page. The thesis also deals with the problem of different coordinate systems used by the Mapy.cz portal and the recorded track points in a GPX file.
Community Web for Turists
Satrapa, Adam ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis approaches design, development and testing of application designed mainly for tourists. Application is divided into two parts. The server part provides the main organization of users, recording of user tracks, tracks management and viewing, as well as integration into user groups and trip planning. The second part is represented by application for mobile phones, that allows users to upload their actual position in real terrain from GPS device onto a server and also monitor position of other users.
OpenStreetMap Infrastructure Based Map Server Web Interface
