Detection of attacks on the L2 layer
Štefánik, Jaromír ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Gerlich, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on cybernetic attacks on the second layer of the reference model OSI, namely: DHCP starvation, MAC flooding, Eavesdropping. The first, theoretical, part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the OSI model, types of cybernetic attacks and methods used by cybercriminals (attackers). In the practical part of the bachelor thesis an experimental workplace was set up (local network), the cybernetic attacks were realized, detection algorithms for given attacks were theoretically designed and programs designed to detect the given attacks were created.
Measurement of the 802.11n standard properties
Halm, Martin ; Šebela, Radek (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is bent on peruse standard 802.11n and inquest diversity from standard 802.11b, g. Standard 802.11b was, first used for wireless net „WLAN”. This standard was extensive standard 802.11g that the has bigger temporary carrier rate. This acceleration is incurred modulation OFDM. Next successor after these standards is standard 802.11n.
Analysis of data transfer security issues at particular OSI model layers
Kňazovický, Pavel ; Růčka, Lukáš (referee) ; Sobotka, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is the analysis of secured data transfer protocols. The very first part is dedicated to the short description of the reference model ISO/OSI. The second one is focused to the secured protocols at particular layers of ISO/OSI model, of which SSL/TLS protocol is closely analysed in the third part. The last part is about often used attacks in the area of computer networks and their services and the basic protection against them is also mentioned.
Automated Testing of OS Linux Protocol Stack Behaviour During Congestion
Následne bude popísaný spôsob simulácie a emulácie takejto siete fyzickým zariadením. Výstupom tejto práce budú rôzne konfigurácie strojov a emulátorov pre zahltenie siete, a k ním priložená sada meraní s vyhodnotením výsledkov. Tieto konfigurácie budú použité v automatizovanom testovaní jadra operačného systému Linux, aby sa chyby vo vývoji a pri implementácii sieťových protokolov a ovládačov pre sieťové karty našli rýchlejšie.
Communication protocol for built-in facilities
Dolák, Petr ; Burda, Karel (referee) ; Herman, Ivo (advisor)
Questions connected with communication technologies are really serious problem worldwide and this Bachelor’s thesis deals with this topic. Concretely is aim of this thesis Communication protocols. They are one of the basic keys in any data transfer, becausse they creates the basic environment for communication between users. First part of this thesis specifies nowadays used communication technologies, however range of Bachelor’s thesis do not give enough space for discussion all used technologies. The main aim of this part is to discuss used technologies on first three levels OSI model. It has been given to made a three layer solution and it has two possible results. In the second and third part has been this two results discussed, by realizing two differnet communication protocols. The first one deals with three lower levels of OSI model, and it is connected to non-error transfer and working with data. It means uploading and downloading them. Protocol build on higer levels of OSI model delas with good communication, however is more specified for services used by in-built units. The last part of this thesis includes diagrams and simulations performed in SDL language.
Design and realization of client application for cooperation with ONET Modeler
Polak, Martin ; Jelínek, Mojmír (referee) ; Molnár, Karol (advisor)
The bachelor thesis „Design and realization of client application for cooperation with OPNET Modeler“ is about trying to bring a client to easier and better communication with the server. Open new opportunities for effective work in the network. Goal of this work is to interconnect two communication stations, which will together communivate. OPNET communicates with an external program which redirects the data to the network layer. The work describes the individual steps in creating a model client. Part of the work is introduction to the OPNET Modeler simulation environment, whereupon it is tied together a detailed desciption of programming of an external application.
DNS Data Analysis for Mobile Device Identification Purposes
Sporni, Alex ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burgetová, Ivana (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the problem of identification of mobile devices based on DNS data analysis. The thesis provides a theoretical introduction to the computer communication model. This thesis explains the importance of DNS in the terms of network communication between devices, It also presents the provided data sets, which contain real communication of mobile devices. These data sets must be with a suitable technique parsed and stored in a database to provide better data manipulation techniques in the later stages of implementation. This work further describes individual techniques of data processing. It also depicts in detail the methodologies for evaluating the relevance of TF-IDF and the application of cosine similarity to identify the mobile devices. The main output of this work is the evaluation of the achieved results.
Industrial field buses and communication
Košťál, Radovan ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Bražina, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of industrial fieldbuses and communication. The theoretical part describes the current state of implementation of industrial fieldbuses and the characteristics of individual communication protocols. Options for cybersecurity are also mentioned. The second, practical part, describes the establishment of communication between a simulated PLC in the TwinCAT 3 program and Node-RED environment using the MQTT protocol and Mosquitto broker.
Funkční testování sběrnice CAN Flexible Data-Rate
Macek, Mojmír
The topic of this thesis is the transfer of information in vehicles using bus systems. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of communication as a means of passing information and to the mode of communication between individual technical systems via communication networks. Furthermore, it summarizes the specifics of selected communication systems. The practical part of the thesis includes an experiment for which the building of a CAN FD bus model was required. For communication purposes, the programming of SPI protocol on the Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) was crucial to provide access to the CAN FD controller. The result is a bus receiving and transmitting test and a timing test for reading and writing data.
