Analysis of Election Campaigns in 2013's Presidential Election in Czech Republic

This thesis is focused on the leading political campaigns in the first direct presidential election in Czech republic and deals with campaign funding and its transparency, choice of communication channels and choice of topics addressed to the electorate. The theoretical part is described a method of choice (direct and indirect), some proposals of laws, with legislators trying to change the electoral presidential system and also define important terms relating to political campaigns, particularly negative advertising. The second chapter describes the individual campaigns of all nine candidates from the perspective of the first round and last chapter is about final round of the election.
Issue of negative advertising in political campaigns

The first chapter of this thesis contains a summary of information, definition, methods, procedures, effects, legislative features and the possibilities of using negative advertising in political election campaigns, including a description of its historical development in the Czech Republic and the United States of America. The second chapter contains a hypothesis for a survey of public opinion, including its evaluation and analysis of the negative elements of the election to the Parliament of the Czech Republic between 2006 and 2010, focusing on monitoring of the development use of negative advertising.
Problematic of negative advertisement and its use in real life situation

The idea of my thesis is definition of advertisement in the eye of the law and ethics, to give an examples of negative advertisement, for example advertisement with erotic element or election campaign. As instant from real life situation I have choosen the billboard campaign ,,Stop genocide", which features its drastical photos.Analysis of this thesis I am holding on questionaire, which is based on my point of use.The output is the ratio of exposure of respondents of this campaign, where they see it the most, their reaction, how the campaign influenced their idea about abortion and if such a drastical campaign should be presented to public.
