Baldrychová, Tereza ; Stellner, František (advisor) ; Szobi, Pavel (referee)
Almost seven hundred years of coexistence of Czechs and Germans in one country had ended by great catastrophe, by occupation and deportation. The idea of transfer of germans from eastern Europe was consequence of one of the deepest civilization crisis and came into existence in the period of general barbarism of the european continent. It needs to be mentioned that without nacism policy and atrocities, without Munich agreement, we can only hardly imagine, such transfer of germans was possible. However there is no sense to constantly compare who was the guilty person, who was responsible for chat happened or whose suffering was greater. In addition to its own problems of displacement, this work deals with the issue of a coexistence of Czechs and Germans as well. To make the reader to understand the broader context the work also introduces the meaning of Beneš Decrees. The main focus of this study is to evaluate the economic and social impacts of transfer of Germans from Czechoslovakia, which contains the second half of this study.
