Modification of hyaluronan by cholic acid and the using of these derivatives for carrier applications
Kvaková, Klaudia ; Márová, Ivana (referee) ; Velebný, Vladimír (advisor)
Amphiphilic biopolymers were synthesised using esterification of hyaluronic acid (HA) and cholic acid as hydrophobic segment. First, step of synthesis involves the activation of cholic acid carboxylic moiety by reaction with benzoylchloride and triethylamine (TEA) using as solvent tetrahydrofuran (THF). The formed mixed aliphatic/aromatic anhydride (intermediate) reacted at room temperature with hyaluronic acid catalysed by 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine (DMAP) and triethylamine and using as solvent water/THF. Hydrophobized product was identified as sodium cholyl hyaluronate (HA-CA) was obtained as product of the reaction. Structure of derivative was characterised by Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and Fourier Transform - Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR). Size exclusion chromatography (SEC-MALLS) was used to determine molecular weight of derivative to evaluate any possible degradation of hyaluronan during modification. Rheological properties of these substances were also examined and confirmed non-degradation. The hydrophobized hyaluronic acid properties were evaluated for application as drug delivery system. Therefore, two non-polar compounds were encapsulated (coenzyme Q10 and curcumin). The size of formed polymeric micelles was characterised by dynamic light scattering (DLS).
Game Server Administration Client
Cigán, Tomáš ; Michal, Bohumil (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the description of game servers of the most common computer games. The details and differences between particular game servers as well as administration control are included. Also structure of plugins and plugin installation procedures for such servers is described in details. The main target of the thesis according to the previous research is to analyze and develop uniform system for controlling the game server and its plugins throw web application. At the end of the thesis there is detailed description of creating a new game server implementation support.
Modification of frame construction of the self-loading semitrailer
Dvořák, Lukáš ; Kuba, Karel (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with research similar self-loading packege transporters. The stress analysis and modification of the selected transporter are followed. The master thesis contains stress analysis of the original version, design of a modified version and stress analysis of the modified version. Then the original and modified versions are compared.
Possibilities of improvement of fire properties of insulation materials based on organic fibers
Urbánek, Tomáš ; Třísko, Pavel (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
This work is focuses on the modification of organic fiber insulating materials in terms of their reaction to fire after installation into the construction. The target is to find a way to improve the reaction to fire and to at least reach the reaction to fire D.
Educator with body modifications through the eyes of the faculty

NÁZEV: Pedagog s tělesnými modifikacemi očima učitelského sboru NÁZEV PRÁCE V AJ: Educator with body modifications through the eyes of the fakulty AUTOR: Bc. Lucie Šimůnková KATEDRA (ÚSTAV) Katedra Pedagogiky VEDOUCÍ PRÁCE: PhDr. Veronika Blažková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: In this theses I deal with the theme of perception of the teacher with body modifications such as tattoos, piercings, etc. by other teachers at school. In the theoretical part I will explain all the terms from the field of pedagogy as well as the topic of body modifications. The practical part will be dedicated to the personal experiences, opinions and thoughts of teachers without body modifications, and the method of semi-structured interview will be used to find out this information. To supplement the information obtained from the interviews, the practical part will also include case studies with teachers who have body modifications. The goal of the thesis is to find out if teachers with modifications are perceived by other teachers positively, negatively or neutrally. Furthermore, whether the modifications affect the behavior of other teachers towards them, their approach, if they try to avoid them or have no problem cooperating with them, or whether they do not take into account the look of the teacher with the modifications at all.
