Instalation and Configuration of AVG System using Active Directory Policies

This thesis is about Group Policy, which is a feature of Microsoft Windows systems that provides centralized management and configuration of users and computers in Microsoft Windows networks. This thesis describes Group Policy architecture and possible ways of extending its features. This theoretical knowledge is later used for designing and implementing extension, which is used to configure AVG system.
Wireless Control of Presentations by Pocket Computer

This work deals with design and realization of an application for Pocket PC which controls presentation on notebook or desktop PC. The goal of this project is to free person from staying behind the computer during presentation. With this remote controller this person can move freely in the whole room and can be in better contact with audience. This document consists of short introduction to Pocket PCs and development tools for this devices. The main part describes concept and implementation of this application by client-server architecture. In the end there are suggestions for future development of this application.
Active Directory Management Dashboard

This thesis is focused on the main concepts of Active Directory and the creation of an application allowing basic management tasks. It introduces the logical as well as physical components and provides an overview of existing servers that are using the services of Active Directory. The functionality of existing management applications is discussed and desired properties of management applications are discovered. On these grounds, a new application concept is introduced and the benefits of the new application over the existing ones is shown. According to the concept, a new application is developed supporting the management of users and groups and implementing additional features such as profile photo editing and a definition of customized object creation process. This application is also tested on different levels and possibilities of future improvements are given.
Application for Monitoring Events of OS Windows

Thesis mentions individual generations of operating system Windows and usage of its chosen application environment functions, followed by presentation of C language as a tool suitable for realization of a process monitoring system events. This bachelor's thesis deals with the monitoring principles of the system devices in the environment of the Microsoft Windows Operating System. The emphasis is placed on the system services and functions which are utilizable for the system resources monitoring. Some aspects related to their functioning are discussed and specified. The implementation part is represented by an application for the system monitoring based on these services and functions. The evaluation of the work and a possible extension is mentioned in the conclusion.

This thesis describes the Waiting room project, the client for service provider and also technologies used to develop this client.
