Application of the Sinumerik ONE control system in machining and measuring
Romanov, Dmitrij ; Potanko, Andrej (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the application of the CNC control system Sinumerik ONE within the programming of machining and measurement. The first part of the thesis contains a research related to the addressed issues of this diploma thesis. The next part involves the design of experimental parts for which NC programs for machining and measurement were to be implemented. The design of the parts is based on the CNC five-axis milling machine SLV EDU. The thesis includes a description of the machine itself and the selection of workpiece material, tools, and cutting conditions. Methods of how the designed parts could be machined are also described. The following section provides an analysis of the developed NC programs for machining and measuring of the given parts, including examples from graphic simulations. Programming in the Sinumerik ONE environment was possible using the Run MyVirtual Machine software, version 1.3.2. The thesis further mentions how measurement results can be evaluated. The last part of the thesis consists of an assessment of its results and recommendations for practical application.
Optimising the working environment through Internet of Things technologies
Šebo, Martin ; Matej,, Havlas (referee) ; Sedlák, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on the analysis of the working environment of Stellnaris s.r.o. through the Internet of Things devices in terms of temperature, humidity, air quality and noise. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and propose the optimization of the monitored premises so that the network elements (especially the active ones) run as efficiently as possible, their long lifetime is achieved and also so that the comfort of the persons present in the premises is achieved in case of work performance. The subject of this work is not the monitoring of the entire company premises, but only selected areas, which are specified in more detail in the chapter Analysis of the current state.
Design of a compact system for measurement of the indoor environment
Jančík, Josef ; Klimeš, Lubomír (referee) ; Pech, Ondřej (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with a design of a compact air quality measuring device. Theoretical part of the thesis introduces the reader with air quality measuring, measuring criteria and basic principles of measuring. Next part is dedicated to the design of the device – component selection, model creation and simulation of heat transfer between individual components. This parts also describes the connection between multiple devices and data collection. The following part presents practical testing of the device and the possibilities of its calibration. At the end of the thesis, the final device is evaluated in the terms of function and costliness.
Temperature Influence over Vibration Sensors
Kadubec, Petr ; Vdoleček, František (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This graduation thesis deals with temperature influence on vibration sensors. Vibration sensors are situated on facilities which heat up temperatures during its activity or are situated on a place where another resources of a heat are. Affected vibration sensors can markedly influent result of the diagnostic facilities.
Design of Flow, Temperature and Pressure Measuring System
Macíček, Ondřej ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis contains complete design of the complex measuring system for temperature, pressure and flow. Objects of measuring are pressure in rabbit’s heart ventricle, flow of the saline through the heart and the temperatures of physiological solution. Work is interested in programming of microcontroller and program for LabVIEW environment, which is used to view and export relevant data related to measuring. Text also contains technical documentation of functional sample of measuring system.
New Solutions for Settings Car Headlamps
Glatter, Willi ; Straka, Ivo (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The aim is to develop new adjusting element. There were three versions of engineering design suggested, which were consequently simulated for various materials. Optimal material was chosen and came up to production suggested variants. These variants were consequently implemented to the headlamp and were consequently measured and tested. During measuring was under consideration change of CutOff line position after heat imunity and vibration tests. Result is selection only one material and only one engineering design of adjusting element solution, which warrants easy and fast assembly and confidential adjusting of reflector, for standardization and implementation to recently develop headlamps.
Monitoring of buildings in relation to surrounding construction activity
Ledvoňová, Monika ; Heřmánková, Věra (referee) ; Cikrle, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the monitoring of buildings disorders caused by surrounding con-struction activity. The first section describes the methods of monitoring failures, from the detailed inspection to the result evaluation, there is also given an overview of measuring instruments. The second part describes the methodology of passports implementation and contains an example of the object repassport that was violated by tunneling. There is a comparison of passport and repassport. The third largest section describes a practical ex-ample of monitoring object cracks around which the building activity took place. There is a documentation of failures, a description of the measuring spots choise, installation of the bases, monitoring, processing of results and conclusion.
Optimization of Run Configurations of k-Wave Jobs
Sasák, Tomáš ; Jaroš, Marta (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on scheduling, i.e. correct approximation of configurations used to run k-Wave simulations on supercomputers from the IT4Innovations infrastructure. Especially, for clusters Salomon and Anselm. A single work is composed of a set which contains many simulations. Every simulation is executed by some code from the k-Wave toolbox. To calculate the simulation, it is necesarry to select a suitable configuration, which means the amount of supercomputer resources (number of nodes, i.e. cores), and the duration of the rental. Creation of an ideal configuration is complicated and is even harder for an inexperienced user. The approximation is made based on the empiric data, obtained from multiple executions of different sets of simulations on given clusters. This data is stored and used by a set of approximators, which performs the actual approximation by methods of interpolation and regression. The text describes the implementation of the final scheduler. By experimenting, the most efficient methods for this problem has found out to be Akima spline, PCHIP interpolation and cubic spline. The main contribution of this work is creation of a tool which can find suitable configuration for k-Wave simulation without knowing the code or having lots of experience with its usage.
Force loading of milling tools during the machining process
Švec, Michal ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis compares the force load of two kinds of cutting tool inserts while milling. The thesis is devided into two main parts – research and experiment. The research part is focused on the theory of the force load measuring, cutting tools and cutting tool inserts and their coating. 14 grooves were made with each cutting insert while the force load was measured. Constant cutting conditions were applied. The experiment was repeated four times for each kind of cutting insert. The aim of the thesis is to determine if both kinds of inserts mill with the same force load. The results reveal that one kind of cutting tool inserts mill with the force load higher up to 85 %.
System for Recording and Reporting Fault States of Cooling Devices
Jašek, Filip ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and creation of a system for recording and reporting error states of cooling devices on the principle of a compressor heat pump. An important element of the concept of the entire monitoring system is a built-in platform based on the ESP32 microcontroller for evaluating data measured by sensors. Another key element is the communication module, which sends measured data via GPRS in the form of MQTT messages to the service web application. The application receives, evaluates and records measured data. Subsequently are measured data and evaluated error states presented to the user in the form of tables and interactive graphs.
