Information System for Software Licences
Nejedlý, Jakub ; Masařík, Karel (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This work treats the creation of an information system for software license management. The ordering company is Codasip, which deals with processor manufacturing and creation of related software tools. This company has been using its web portal and licenses management system is its expanding module. That is why the source code of the project is written, as well as the original web interface, in PHP language, using the Nette Framework. Moreover there is the LM-X technology of software licensig described here and so the deployment in a rival solution. The specifications of the product by X-Formation and Codasip's requirements are setting the basics for license system design. The design itself and the description of the implementation according to MVP design pattern, are part of this work.

Free software licenses
Mazánek, Pavel ; Míšek, Jakub (referee) ; Myška, Matěj (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to deal with the topics related to public software licenses, their use, their properties in the form of specific contractual agreements (license aspects), mutual compatibility and followingly take this information and systemize it of a form of an information portal, which is the practical output of this thesis. At the beginning of the thesis, the current issue of why public software licenses are used today and how they are legally perceived is examined. Emphasis is placed on Czech law in the context of civil code and copyright law and with them associated licensing agreements, since the vast majority of the license terms of the world-wide used free software licenses is only written in English, and the terminology is based on the United States legal system. Consequently, the nomenclature and the necessary terms for working with the license terms are unified. In the main part of the thesis specific licenses are selected according to their relative usage and their characteristics based on relevant market surveys. These chosen licenses and their license agreements are analyzed more in-depth. Specific contractual agreements of said license agreements are expanded upon whilst being named in the thesis as “license aspects”. In the practical part of the thesis is described a solution for a web information portal, which should serve the laic as an initial view on the issue of public software licenses. The site addresses the issues of selecting a specific public software license for its original work (software), introducing specific licenses and comparing them based on analyzed licensing aspects, compatibility of more public software licenses in a larger composite software unit in which the individual software components of the whole are licensed under various public software licenses. Also, the consequences of choosing one of the selected public software licenses for the future of the software are described. At the end of the thesis, the vision of the future information portal, its expansion with other functionalities and its overall possible improvement based on feedback from the public are also presented.
Information System for Software Licences
Rohovský, Tomáš ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
This project deals with the creation of an information system for the managing of software licenses. This system is developed in PHP, using the Nette Framework. The system architecture is built on the MVP design pattern, which ensures easy modifcation and extensibility of the current solution. The paper also deals with software licensing technology. Specifcally, it focuses on the LM-X license. It describes these licenses and the solution for their management. Analysis of this solution was the basis for the design of this system. The system supports the storage and management of orders and licenses, creation of predefned templates for creating of the licenses, generation of the XML input for license generator, and the storage of license fles.
Comparing GUI Implementation in Different Libraries in OS Linux
Šelepa, Jan ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Čermák, Martin (advisor)
This thesis presents the elemental properties and principles in graphical user interface. It then shows how one can work with a graphical user interface on GNU/Linux operating system and gives some examples of toolkits used for this purpose. The next part shows the design of an aplication based on an existing anti-virus program. The last part shows the dierences between the two implementations of the designed application.
Cloud-Based Data Access Control
Chovanec, Erik ; Malina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hajný, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with problematic of cloud storage. The goal of this thesis is the implementation of cloud storage, that will be able to provide the required functionality. These functionalities are access control of multiple users, group rights, long-term file archiving, secure data transmission to cloud storage, protection of data integrity and confidentiality during transmission and storage. For achieving this goal, there is an evaluation of suitability using public cloud providers. Based on this evaluation, there was a conclusion, that these services are not suitable for storing highly sensitive data. Next is an evaluation of advantages associated with using software that is licensed under a free or open-source software license. Even though there are high start-up costs on infrastructure and there is a necessity to make a huge effort to run custom infrastructure with cloud storage, it is a much better option. Especially if it will be used for storing sensitive data. The following chapter describes an extensive analysis of existing open-source and free-software solutions. In the final part of this chapter, the application Nextcloud has been selected since it provides the most of required functionalities. The thesis also contains an installation of Nextcloud and shows its main functions. There are basic load tests, which are telling us about the efficiency of successfully dealing with parallel requests. In the last section of this thesis, we are dealing with the implementation of missing functionality in Nextcloud. This functionality is necessary to achieve our goal, which is long term archiving of files. This term means functionality that will enable the possibility to archive files with evidence about preservation integrity and confidentiality of archived files during a long period of their existence. This part of the thesis contains a theoretical design that aims to accomplish this goal. Description of the implementation follows after theoretical design. This functionality is implemented in form of a dedicated system. Archiving of files is triggered by a modified application, used in the Nextcloud server. This process will create a copy of the file to be archived on a separate hard drive. It will obtain evidence about integrity when storing the file and it will strengthen this evidence by obtaining a new one in regular periods. This happens on yearly basis. The quality of cryptographic protocols can degrade after a long period. This concept is trying to prevent this phenomenon.

Copyright law and advertising
Aichingerová, Nikola ; Císařová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Žikovská, Petra (referee)
- Copyright and Advertising Advertising, as a rapidly evolving social phenomenon based on the promotion of goods and services, consists of copyrighted works that it creates or uses. Advertising work is often considered to be a unique result of creative intellectual activity, could it not therefore meet the conceptual characteristics set out in the Copyright Act and receive the same protection? If the advertisement includes a copyrighted work, artistic performance or other value protected by the copyright law, the advertiser, the client or other party in the advertising sector must deal with the copyright properly. The way to address it is set out in the Copyright Act. Could a person involved in making advertisements or an ad agency employee be the author? Does the legislation reflect the actual situation in the advertising sector at a time when advertising law contains public, private and ethical norms? This thesis is not just a description, but aims to analyse the legal regulation of copyright with a closer focus on copyrighted works in the context of advertising activities and their creators. The first analytical part deals with the development of copyright law with emphasis on the resulting separation of the material medium from the product of creative intellectual activity, i.e. the separation...
