Business environment of Austria

The aim of this master thesis is to evaluate the business environment of Austria. Another goal of the thesis is to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the Austrian market and to specify the opportunities that the Austrian market offers to Czech companies. To achieve these goals PEST analysis and several indexes and rankings are used. The thesis is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter, several definitions of business environment are introduced as well as theoretical information about PEST analysis and indexes of chosen world organisation. The information gathered in the first chapter is subsequently applied to Austria in the second chapter. The third chapter focuses more on the relations between the Czech republic and Austria, considering the balance of trade, possibilities how to enter the Austrian market and cultural specifics of Austria. Whether the information acquired in the first three chapters corresponds with the current situation on the market will be verified by means of several interviews with professionals from this field.
Čínští turisté v hotelnictví

The goal of the Master Thesis is to analyze behavior of Chinese tourist in hotel industry. The analysis is based on questionnaires of three Chinese professionals who worked in a Chinese hotel, three foreigners (Russian, Italian, Spanish) who as well worked in a Chinese hotel and three Czech professionals who worked in a Czech hotel frequently visited by Chinese tourists. The thesis subsequently introduces ways how Chinese tourists should be treated during their visit in a hotel with respect to their origin and culture. The main aim of the first chapter is to describe behavior of Chinese people with all their specifics. Second chapter focuses on the growing middle class in China which enormously influences the outbound tourism. Third chapter determines inbound as well as outbound tourism in China and its history. Furthermore, the developing hotel industry in China is introduced. Finally, the fourth chapter is the research part where cultural specifics of Chinese travelers are analyzed. The last chapter provides recommendations to hotels who are accommodating Chinese tourists.
The business environment of Spain

The theme of this bachelor´s thesis deals with the business environment of Spain. The aim is to analyze main aspects of business environment according to the PEST analysis methodology and based on this analysis then identify its basic advantages and disadvantages. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes methodology of analysis that is used for identify business environment. The second chapter focuses on information about Spain, on historical and economic developments of the country, on the political and social-cultural area. The third chapter is devoted to individual interviews with the representative of the agency Czechtrade and with the manager of the company USSPA. The bachelor´s thesis then should provide comprehensive information to entrepreneurs considering the development of their business activities in the Spanish market.
Relationship of Muslim Families Towards Czech School - The Role of Cultural and Religious Specifics in Families from the Middle East

The thesis Relationships of Muslim Families towards Czech School - The Role of Cultural and Religious Specifics in Families from the Middle East is a theoretical-empirical thesis focused on Muslim immigrant families living in Czech Republic whose children attend common Czech state schools and their perception of the Czech school system. The goal of the thesis is to determine what the relation of Muslim family is and how is influenced by the religious and cultural specifics. The object of the theoretical part is to convey the basic background for understanding the complex situation of the target group. The first chapter shows the families as the participants in the processes of migration and intercultural communication, the next one deals with the role of school as an environment of integration and the last chapter of this part describes essential characteristics of Islam and the Muslim community in Czech Republic. The object of the empirical part is to describe the influence of cultural and religious specifics on the Muslim families' review of experiences with Czech school. The goal of the Masters Thesis is to analyze opportunities and subsequently develop a business plan for a new venture offering medical and health tourism services and tailored solutions to Chinese clientele, which will be formulated based on analysis of Chinese economy, its outbound tourism, business partners, clients cultural specifics and health tourism potential of the Czech Republic. The first chapter aims to analyze the Chinese socio-economic and demographic environment as well as the outbound and medical tourism of China. Next chapter uncovers cultural specifics of Chinese counterparts and customers. The third chapter defines the health and medical tourism and describes the situation in the Czech Republic. After the three theoretical chapters, the practical part in form of business plan for medical tourism agency for Chinese could be prepared.

The first chapter describes the status of Iran in the Middle East, the second one describes the cultural environment. The third chapter deals with business environment using the PESTL analysis. This thesis also examines the foreign trade of the country and Czech-Iranian cooperation, stating a few specific examples.

This thesis aims to provide complex view of business negotiations with Chinese partners, particularly with regard to intercultural differences and characteristics of business protocol. The thesis is divided into four chapters, focused on China as a territory, distinctions in culture and business, as well as selected business dealings between Czech and Chinese company. Knowledge of Chinese "game rules" and sufficient preparation are two essential preconditions for long-term success in the Chinese scene.
Culture specifics of Taiwan

This bachelor thesis describes business and culture specifics of Taiwan and compares them with other cultures, especially with Czech culture. The aim of this thesis is to align Taiwanese culture with western one, show the culture differences and make business meetings with Taiwan easier. Research task analyses culture differences between Taiwan and Czech Republic, because they are crucial for the cultivation of Czech-Taiwanese business cooperation. First chapter presents basic characteristics of Taiwan, the second one focuses on international trade of Taiwan, mainly with Czech Republic. Following chapter describes culture specifics that were defined by G. Hofstede and there are also mentioned in the context of business dealing. In the end, this thesis provides my own experience that I gained in Taiwan. The thesis offers basic overview of Taiwanese culture with stress on culture differences and its influence on business dealing.
Business and cultural specifics of India

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to introduce specifics of India in economic, business and cultural areas. First chapter introduces Indian geography, population and short history. One part of first chapter is focused on economic and business environment of India. Second chapter deals with Indian culture and its influence on business negotiations. Third chapter is a practical part. At the beginning a company Škoda Auto a.s. and its subsidiary Skoda Auto India Pvt. Ltd. are introduced. The chapter presents the results of questionnaire survey which is concerned the cultural specifics of Indians. The survey was made within the Škoda employees working with Indian colleagues.
The business environment in the USA from the perspective of Czech companies

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is analysis of the business environment in United States of America and the goal is to provide information to entrepreneurs, who would like to expand to the US market. In first chapter I define the term business environment and how its quality can be measured. In second chapter I analyze the business environment in the USA using the PEST analysis. In third chapter I describe culture specifics of American culture. The methods I used were PEST analysis and interviews.
