Cílem této práce je zhodnocení podnikatelského prostředí Rakouska. Dílčím cílem je stanovit, jaké jsou výhody a nevýhody rakouského trhu a jaké příležitosti rakouský trh nabízí českým subjektům. Pro dosažení těchto daných cílů práce využívá PEST analýzu prostředí a ukazatele světových organizací. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. V první kapitole je teoreticky vymezen pojem podnikatelské prostředí, představeny ukazatele vybraných organizací a charakterizována PEST analýza. Tyto znalosti jsou následně v druhé kapitole aplikovány na Rakousko. Třetí kapitola práce se více zaměřuje na česko-rakouské vztahy, a to z hlediska vzájemné obchodní bilance, možnosti vstupu na trh a kulturních specifik Rakouska. Zda se informace získané v teoretické části práce shodují s dnešní realitou, bude ověřeno v rámci čtvrté kapitoly prostřednictvím rozhovorů s odborníky z praxe. The aim of this master thesis is to evaluate the business environment of Austria. Another goal of the thesis is to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the Austrian market and to specify the opportunities that the Austrian market offers to Czech companies. To achieve these goals PEST analysis and several indexes and rankings are used. The thesis is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter, several definitions of business environment are introduced as well as theoretical information about PEST analysis and indexes of chosen world organisation. The information gathered in the first chapter is subsequently applied to Austria in the second chapter. The third chapter focuses more on the relations between the Czech republic and Austria, considering the balance of trade, possibilities how to enter the Austrian market and cultural specifics of Austria. Whether the information acquired in the first three chapters corresponds with the current situation on the market will be verified by means of several interviews with professionals from this field.
