Android OS software design patterns utilizing the Kotlin language
Maloušek, Jan ; Ilgner, Petr (referee) ; Zeman, Kryštof (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to describe design patterns and other programming best practices used in the development of Android applications. The theoretical part analyzes design patterns, Kotlin programming language, dependency injection, reactive programming and automatic testing. The practical part deals with the design and implementation of a sample Android application, which demonstrates the advantages of using design patterns and other proven programming practices described in the theoretical part.
Modular System for Reporting and Managing Faults in Town
Kotas, Jan ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Semerád, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is designing and creating system for reporting and managing issues in towns. The system demonstrates options how to make process of reporting and managing issues more effective thanks to the modern technologies and citizen involvement. The system consists of mobile application, web administration and application server. After getting familiar with the Android application development system, the author of this thesis conducted a research of existing solutions and also analysis of potential customers opinion. Afterwards, the system specification was created. The system was designed and consequently implemented according to the specificiation of the system. The implementation was followed by system testing on group of users who then made its evaluation.
Mobile App for Management and Reservation of Sports Lessons
Hynek, Tomáš ; Tomešek, Jan (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a mobile application for Android that will offer management for reservations of training lessons. There are two user roles in the application. The first one is coach who can offer his lessons to other users. Users then can book this lesson right from the application. Coach can also manage all of his lessons and see his reservations in calendar. The second type of user is an athlete who can search for training lessons by name or place distance and then he can book them. The name of the application is Fittyy and it complies with Material Design rules. It uses advanced technologies like Android Jetpack to store local data, implement MVVM model or process server requests in the background. Communication between coach and athlete was implemented using CMS system made by Dactyl Group s.r.o.
Client-server search engine for optimal public transport routes
Brát, Daniel ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Myška, Vojtěch (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a client-server based program for finding the optimal path in public transport networks. Theoretical basics describe the Traveling salesman problem and mention some methods for finding its solution. This chapter is followed by a theoretical design of the application itself. Next chapter describes chosen technologies to be used. The last chapter describes the realization of the application itself. Reached goals are described in the conclusion.
Particle Swarm Optimization Library
Hruban, Milan ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Bidlo, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to develop a library that is able to solve optimization tasks using PSO. The library is implemented using Kotlin and is designed to achieve high extensibility and usability. Moreover, a tool for processing and statistical analysis of experiments performed using the library is implemented by means of the Jupyter Notebook environment. The utilization of these tools creates a setup suitable for experimenting with the current and developing new variations of the PSO algorithm.
Android App for Security Monitoring of Communication
Klepáčková, Karolína ; Dobeš, Petr (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on implementation of application for security monitoring of network communication of other applications in mobile device with Android platform. Provides users information about security risks that may harm his/her privacy or device. It uses a local VPN to tunnel all data sent to the wireless network. These can be linked to an application that has sent them because the Android kernel is derived from the Linux kernel and can be used to retrieve information about established network connections and the application identifier associated with the connection. This mapping allows to get more information about an app that is potentially dangerous for your mobile device.
Mobile Application for Ordering Small Services
Vican, Peter ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Semerád, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the development of a mobile application for ordering small services. The application is developed for the Android mobile platform. The mobile application is written according to the latest trends using Kotlin and the Google Firebase cloud solution. The first part defines mobile application design specifications, the second part introduces Android platform and the last part is about implementation and testing.
Sophisticated Stopwatch for Measuring Times in Competitions
Skryja, Ondřej ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis I will deal with the design of a mobile application for organizing competitions. The main goal of the application is to simplify the organization of contestants, their division into individual categories and time measurement. The app is created for the Android operating system. I will introduce the basic Android components and Android Studio development environment. In detail, I will devote myself to application design and individual functions.
Navigation in Public Transport
Turic, Matúš ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the issue of traveling in public transport. In the first part the author informs about similar applications and theories necessary for understanding the problems. In the second part, the author describes the design and behavior of the mobile and server application, including the used technologies. Created mobile application has the task of navigating the user from one point to another in the shortest possible time, while it should be possible to replace the current route with faster one.
Android stock market application
Balaževič, Lukáš ; Ilgner, Petr (referee) ; Zvončák, Vojtěch (advisor)
The aim of the work is to design and implement an android application which will display parameters of cryptocurrencies, technical indicators and will predict the price based on the modern technology of machine learning. In addition to the displaying parameters, the user will be able to set up notifications. Application displays data from the Firebase database. The data are uploaded to an application from two services which run on Ubuntu server and are written in programming language Kotlin and Python. Services are in charge of obtaining and data processing. One of the services takes care of price prediction, the price is predicted using a LSTM neural network where each cryptocurrency has an own training model. The result of the work is a system that takes care of the whole lifecycle of the data from the acquisition, transformation and the presentation to the user. Based on acquired information from the application, the user is able to make statistically correct decisions in the cryptocurrency market without the need to constant market monitoring.
