Conceptual design of high performance glider with electric propulsion (in complience with EASA CS-22)
Hlůšek, Josef ; Sklenář, Filip (referee) ; Hlinka, Jiří (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on conceptual design of glider with electric propulsion system following the CS-22 regulation. Statistical analysis of the glider with an auxiliary electric engine has been carried out in order to determine basic design parameters for conceptual design. Based on analytical drag polar, the flight performance parameters are calculated, in particular flight range and influence of the solar panels on the flight range. This thesis also includes preliminary design solution of accumulator placement within the wing.
Non-linear lifting line theory application to glider aerodynamic design
Schoř, Pavel ; Daněk, Vladimír (referee) ; Popela, Robert (advisor)
This master thesis shows, how can be the modified lifting line theory used for preliminary glider design an for wing loads determination. It is shown, that relatively accurate results can be obtained at less computational cost in comparison with CFD methods
Aerodynamic design of transonic UAV glider
Kóňa, Marián ; Pejchar, Jan (referee) ; Zikmund, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on aerodynamic design of transonic glider, which is assigned for following an airliner at cruising regime of flight. Main goal of the thesis is to determine basic geometrical design of airplane with respect to Whitcomb aera rule, mass analysis and drag polar. Weight analysis includes determining center of gravity according to longitudinal static stability margin. The drag polar of the airplane is determine for cruising regime of flight, that means the regime of following an airliner.
Conceptual design of new full metal training glider based on Blanik series
Bilík, David ; Urík, Tomáš (referee) ; Schoř, Pavel (advisor)
The object of thesis is a new full metal wing design of L-23 Super Blanik glider for L-23 NG project. Thesis includes calculation of flight envelope according to CS 22, wing load, wing design and stress analysis of important part of construction. The final part of thesis include weight estimation and comparison with existing design.
The comparison of operational, technical and economical characteristics of towing aircraft.
Slováček, Jan ; Daněk, Vladimír (referee) ; Imriš, Pavel (advisor)
The objektive of this bachelor thesis is compares the towing aircraft based on analyse of operational, technical and economic parameters. Contains study of particual parameters and description of the charakteriscit in terms of air-towing. The outcome of the thesis is evaluation most proper aircraft used to air-towing.
Development and use of non-motorized aircraft
Bečka, Pavel ; Schoř, Pavel (referee) ; Zablatzký, Jiří (advisor)
The object of this bachelor thesis is history, development and use of non-motorized aircraft. The first part dedicate of history this aircraft industry in the Word and Czechoslovakia. The second part dedicate about construction of this machines. The Thirst part dedicate of materials, which are using in this part of aeronautical production. And finally fourth part dedicate ways for starts of this aircrafts.
Possible ways of obtaining a CPL (A) qualified in MEP land and IR / MEP and their comparison
Boček, Filip ; Vosecký, Slavomír (referee) ; Hammer, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of possible ways of obtaining CPL(A) and ME/IR with a focus on the suitability of the acquisition process for different age categories and different financial options. It also includes the benefits of previous practice from other categories of aircraft.
Load State of an Aircraft with an Elastic Wing
Schoř, Pavel ; Daněk, Vladimír (referee) ; Slavík, Svatomír (referee) ; Píštěk, Antonín (advisor)
V této práci je navržena metoda výpočtu zatížení letadla s netuhým křídlem, založená na spojení panelové metody prvního řádu dle Katz and Plotkin, Low-Speed Aerodynamics, 2001 s metodou stukturální analýzy dle Píštěk et al., Pevnost a životnost letadel I, 1988 a Lebofsky,Numerically Generated Tangent Stiffness Matrices for Geometrically Non-Linear Struc- tures, 2013.
Design of an aircraft for towing according to CS-VLA
Marek, Ondřej ; Urík, Tomáš (referee) ; Mališ, Michal (advisor)
The topic of the thesis is a design of an aicraft for towing of gliders. Based on the background research of the towing aircrafts currently used by the Czech aeroclubs and the analysis of the required characteristics of these aircrafts the design of the new airplane has been created. Moreover, the load of engine mount has been determined according to the CS-VLA directive (a certification guidelines for the Very-light aircrafts). Its construction design as well as strength calculation have been elaborated. The part of the thesis is a 3D model of the aircraft and the engine mount.
HPH 2 Twin Shark glider loading calculation
Pělucha, Jiří ; Jebáček, Ivo (referee) ; Juračka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The object of diploma thesis is a loading determination for strength calculation of HPH 2 Twin Shark glider matching the requirements of Certification Specification for Sailplanes (CS-22). Loading of the wing, tail section, fuselage and undercarriage is determined in this work.
