Commercial suburbanization and transport infrastructure in the Czech Republic: the analysis of selected localities

The development of commercial and residential suburbanisation has been very dynamic, especially in the last 15 years. As a consequence of the process there were changes in the physical and social environment of cities and villages, and the spatial and functional structures of landscapes were influenced significantly. The main aim of this thesis was to identify representative commercial localities for the research of the relations between commercial suburbanization and transport infrastructure. For exact specification the nearness of the D1 highway and the concentration of commercial activities in the city background were set as a criterion. The thesis is divided into theoretical and analytical part. The theoretical part deals with the literature related to the issue of suburbanization processes and the development of transport infrastructure, particularly within the Czech Republic. In the analytical part the selected localities in the Czech Republic , where the field research was carried out, are defined and characterized. The survey related to the rate of necessity of transport infrastructure for companies in the selected localities is stated. The results of the questionnaire survey show how the presence of important roads in places of selected commercial suburbs is essential for companies. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to a summary and evaluation of discovered information.

Analysis of unemployment in the district of Jihlava with focusing retraining courses

The problem of unemployment is still the current topic. Unemployment not only hassignificant impact on economic performance, but also a very strong pressure on the psyche of the unemployed and his family. Active employment policy is one of the tools, that may be reducing the unemployment rate. This thesis analyzes the labor market in the district of Jihlava, focusing on active employment policy, and implemented in this district. The theoretical part deals with unemployment and an active employment policy in general terms. The practical part deals with the problemsof unemployment and employment policy in the district of Jihlava. There outlined the demographic structure of population and economic characteristics of basic district. In particular, the work focuses on the development and structure of unemployment in thedistrict, which is compared to the national average. This work verified the hypothesisabout the effectiveness of active employment policy in the form of retraining courses

Jihlava ? location, structure, infrastructure and city image

This diploma thesis is a summary of urban geographic and other observations about the city of Jihlava ? for example of specific location of the city, historical development, physical geographic and social geographic characteristics and above all space structure of the city. By analysis of social geographic charasteristics I focused on territorial administrative classification of the city, on information about inhabitants and areas of production, transport and services. The central point devotes to a few analyses. It is analysis of social geographic location of the city, analysis of space structure of the city and analysis of infrastructure of the city of Jihlava whereas the most important is the analysis of space structure of Jihlava city. This analysis consists of a few subsections ? for example genetic concentric spatial structure, functional spatial structure, urban morphologic spatial structure, demographic spatial structure and other which enable a new and very interesting view of the city of Jihlava. The whole work is supplemented by maps and charts which contribute to better understanding of the problems that are explored.

Alien, invasive and expansive species of cyanobacteria and algae in county Jihlava

The phytoplankton from 30 water reservoirs in county Jihlava was sampled during the year 2007. Species composition and relative abundance of species was studied and abiotic factors like pH, conductivity, temperature and dissolved ions were measured. High attention was paid to an appearance of alien, invasive and expansive species of algae and cyanobacteria. Literature search about alien species of diatoms in the Czech Republic was compiled.

Choirs in Jihlava city

The thesis deals with problems of choirs in Jihlava city. There are two parts. The first one encompass history of choral singing and music in Jihlava including master singing, Jihlava´s music after 30-year war and the history of the city itself. The second part contains music festivals such as MAHLER JIHLAVA, The Choir Festival and the present-date choirs which organize performances for the public. This part reveals questions given to Jihlava´s choirmasters, concerning their choirs and festivals, particularly The Choir Festival which is the one of the most prestige national festival and which mingles with the present-day choirs in part. The main aim of the thesis is to find out the influence of The Choir Festival on the choral life in Jihlava.

Financial Analysis of the Jihlava Hospital

This Bachelor work focuses in its first part on the theoretical understanding of financial analyse applications. This is followed in the second part, where these financial analyse methods and processes were applied in practice to the actual specific data of the Jihlava Hospital. The introduction is dedicated to describing the overall characteristics of Jihlava Hospital; it's allowance organization; and it's management budgetary control. The conclusion focuses on the analysis and evaluates the financial results.

Public transportation Jihlava

In this bachelor thesis a framework of urban transportation in Jihlava is evaluated. First of all a historical and contemporary position of public transportation is analysed and then the practical part of the thesis is dedicated to the aim of the thesis, in particular an evaluation of newly implemented electronical terminal system and a comparison of new tariff of public transportation to the old one.

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o využití marketingu v oblasti řízení rozvoje města. Práce se věnuje především třem hlavním cílovým skupinám města (obyvatelům, podnikatelům a turistům). Teoretická část popisuje vývoj městského marketingu, srovnání komerčního a městského marketingu, tvorbu strategie a marketingový mix města. Obsah aplikační části tvoří nejprve charakteristika města Jihlavy, dále situační analýza a tvorba strategie města. Hlavní částí práce je zpracování marketingového mixu města Jihlavy. V závěru práce je zhodnocen přístup města Jihlavy k marketingu a jsou také navržena zlepšení současného stavu.
