Protection against profiling with random multilingual search

Aby vyhledávače mohly poskytovat personalizované výsledky pro dotazy, které uživatel vyhledává, musí nejprve vytvořit profil uživatele. Pro vytvoření takového profilu však potřebují shromažďovat značné množství informací o uživatelích, které získávají sledováním jejich činnosti. V důsledku toho může být ohroženo soukromí, a výsledky vyhledávání se mohou stát neobjektivními a subjektivně personalizovanými. Tato práce se věnuje problematice profilování uživatelů v online vyhledávačích, a jejím cílem je zjistit, jestli je možné pomocí náhodného vícejazyčného vyhledávání proces profilování zastavit a nebo jej alespoň zmírnit. Výsledky získané prováděním experimentů naznačují, že ačkoli se při použití náhodného vyhledávání výsledky vyhledávání téměř nemění, vyhledávač u uživatelů, kteří náhodné vyhledávání použili, identifikoval rozdílné zájmy oproti ostatním uživatelům. Navíc tato práce experimentálně ověřila, že pro snížení uživatelského profilování je lepší využít menší množství jazyků a větší poměr náhodných vyhledávní k reálným vyhledáváním uživatele. Mimo jiné bylo také zjištěno, že náhodné vyhledávání má sílu změnit již identifikované zájmy u uživatelů, kteří vyhledávač používali už nějakou dobu bez náhodného vyhledávání.

According the analyzing that can be also used in the regular interval it's possible to show optimization history. The tool uses Microsoft technologies, especially ASP.NET, SQL Server 2008 or Microsoft Server 2008 and is developed by Visual Studio 2010.

Diploma thesis The Right to be Forgotten on the Internet applies to the functions of Internet search engines, search algorithms and the impact of the digital footprint that on the Internet user essentially leaves. With this issue is, on the one hand, inseparably linked the protection of personal data in the online environment, on the other hand the constitutionally enshrined right to information and other fundamental rights. Not ignored should be also the risk of censorship of the Internet. An application of the right to be forgotten adds a whole new dimension to this problems. The right to be forgotten is inferred from the judgment of the European Court of Justice on 13 May 2014 in the case Costeja versus Google Spain, where an Internet user named Mario Costeja Gonzáles first succeeded with a request of removal of unflattering information about himself from results of the search engine Google. Thus a reform precedent will have a big impact on seeking information on the Internet in the future, since the pronouncement of the judgment about the removal of his personal data may ask any European Internet user. Internet search has changed significantly since its beginning and it has also changed the way of information retrieval. Firstly, network search tools were created. However, greater development of internet search tools came after the creation of the Web. One of the first internet search tools were the web directories, such as Yahoo! or content directory Open Directory Project. Nowadays, web search engines are the most commonly used. Apart from general web search engines, there are also specialized or web search engines for particular aim or function, such as DuckDuckGo aimed at privacy, Yandex or Seznam.cz aimed at specific region or computational search engine WolframAlpha. Multimedia search and search adapted for mobile devices is technology trend in the field of internet search. Personalization, localization and social search belong among the contemporary trends. Semantic search is another long-lasting trend.

The bachelors thesis deals with suggestion of internet promotion and advertising of language school SAVY and distribution of founds to suggested solution. At the begging the thesis describes the theory that studies issue, examines the current state of advertising language school, compares notoriety and usage of search engine and portals on the selected sample of respondents. Research is converted on the results of questionnaire survey. The results of this thesis lead of three variants of promotion from which language school will be able to choose the best for it.
Metadata and searching information on the Internet

The aim of this work is to analyze the relationship of metadata and searching on the Internet. In the first part are presented metadata, namely meta tags, metadata schemas and two related projects - digital libraries and the Semantic Web. In the second chapter is introduced the history and development of the Internet search engines. Two search engines are analyzed in detail: Google and Seznam - especially their history, development and how they evaluate pages. The last part is devoted to the summary of the importance of metadata for searching on the Internet and possible future development of digital libraries and the Semantic Web.
